For some people, some like Bitcoin is a good way to save.  I only say this because it can be a pain to turn from Bitcoin to USD and back again sometimes.  That for me adds a layer of trouble that I have to go through to access funds.  Plus, I use a wallet that gains interest.  I can technically get my Bitcoins to dollars quicker than I can sell a stock online, but there is the effort of looking through the users on a site like localbitcoins or elsewhere and reviewing there history and such and that small amount of time is usually enough for me to realize that the Super VideoCom 1000 is really not that important of a purchase at the time.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Saving money = not spending it  Roll Eyes

or investing in something that you know will increase in value at least at 70% of chances, like bitcoin

improper investment will make money disappear, I better save from the investment, it is very risky

invest in something that is very undervalued and has potential, they say silver right now, but i prefer bitcoin, i can not think of anything else that do not involve fiat scam investment

I don't believe in saving too much dollars for the future, maybe it will make you feel secure but spending money will give you happiness. That too if you are spending the money for needy people. " People who don't have confidence on their ability to make money in future will be saving too much money, those who have confidence in their ability to make money will be spending it wisely."

Indeed or spend the same but earn more.

Intrest on intrest is the best way to make your money increase in long time.

If you get 6% intrest yearly your money is worth 2.5 times after 15 years.

Saving money is great, but there is always the need to invest it, otherwise your money will remain static. Nevertheless, you save when you don't spend your hard earned cash on things you don't need. Also, trying looking for cheap ways to buy a product. For example, if buying an iPhone on Amazon for $299, but you saw it on eBay for less, then the best choice would be the cheap one. Just my opinion.  Roll Eyes

I strongly disagree with your point of vue. I think saving money is not something really important.

Maybe it's because i'm French so i don't have to care about "medical emergencies" as you say, cause of course if you're not reinboursed by your gvt you're right it's important to save some money in case you or one that you love needs it :/

But saving money for investment is not really a good deal, if you have a good investment opportunity, just take a loan. It's faster, easier and you can invest a real amount of money (not just a few thousands dollars). I invested in house location, i borrowed 150 000 euros and built a house then rent it. It covers 95% of the loan payment and i pay the rest.

But i suppose it depends a lots on your personal situation and xhere/how you live Wink

We cannot be sure if an investment is a no loss investment. If we lose the investment on the borrowed money, we will have problem paying back the loans.

I think you understood the meaning of saving wrongly because to invest money in bitcoin one must save money first before investing. So one have to either reduce their expenses to save money or increase their earning to save money. I think the better one is try to find more ways to earn money to save more.

everyone is saving at least a portion of it's fortune for the future, it's mandatory nowadays, this saving can be increased if you invest in something, not leaving it there to be eaten by inflation

leave money doing nothing it's almost always a bad thing, especially in fiat...
but not so much in crypto. Bitcoin is still pretty young, so there is constant Research and development going on to make bitcoin work better or to build applications on top of bitcoin. And you don't need to save to invest. Investing is like spending money only you expect, that you get more of it back, than you put in. If one is really good at investing, they can say that their job is wisely spending their money.

In regards of saving money, I myself ordered a minted wallet from ognasty along with some online seats with it. I will occasionally send some dust on it as well. Just to see how much I can scrape up before I sweep it.

Diversify your investments on reliable companies and save a quarter (1/4) of your earnings into a savings account. Then,  make a spreadsheet of all your income and expenses to keep track of your funds for a better financial life. Also, make sure to have an emergency fund, just in case you lose your job. Just my opinion.  Wink

Some people says why you should save money ? if you don't spend your money, you will not be able to get more.hence i am trying to save money too.I created a Bank account and I can't withdraw from there at least for 5 Years so i just deposit money there and saving.

But you can save money give it to trusted person he or she will just hold for you. Also create an bank account like me? but just don't save all your money.Spend your money and be happy.God will give you more if you spend more  Tongue

I have been reading a lot of books about investing and saving, most of them goes like this: It takes money to make money and Do not put your money on the bank. It just sleeps there and die in inflation.

The only money you put in your bank is your emergency or rainy days money. This is the money you use in case you got hospitalized or suddenly cut from job. The other money you have, you put to work through investments or anything that creates more wealth. You do not let them sleep in your pocket, or banks or trust them to other people. How do you choose which investments to join? It is your assignment. It is up to you to research which investments fits you the most. But whatever you chose, you have to make your due diligence.

The important thing to save money is to have patience. Buying unnecessary things, that too through credit is the bad part. Say, Gadgets are kind of unnecessary luxury which has a depreciation with time being. Younger generation spend too much and save nothing.

I am trying to survive now with just 20 dollar food for a week. If  I survive doing that than is easy to save.

Well, if you trying to survive with just $20/week which is $2.85/day. It's nearly impossible, even in a country that has a cheap foods. And also, you need to have a shelter/home for place to stay.

Depends on the situation and numbers of person in the family.

Didn't you know that I can budget $20 / week for foods only. And take note, it includes lots of extra rice lol and sometimes has an extra budget for misc.

Proper savings really must. Dedicate yourself.

That's not a lot of money but big up for you. I am more at 15 USD a day and that excludes expenses like; shopping, rent etc.

Well that's is clear to everyone, without money you can't save anything, the original topic was assuming that you had money in the first place, to proceed to save a small portion of it is better to invest them.

You need to calculate the risk and reward for this, if the risk is lower you have found your good investment and you can invest without worry too much, if you end up losing anyway, you will go to another investment with less risk and so on, in the end, seeing that the chances are with you, you will earn money on top of your saving. I think that you need to move you saving to save even more money, leaving them sit under your pillow isn't a good idea.
