No, for sure bitcoin will not replace dollar. Dollar has a big and great history and it grown through the years. And bitcoin is just in the beginning of it's way. Bitcoin can grow and develop as a currency, but it will never replace any of currencies.

Not soon, cause the governments still love to control the currency. But I feel it will take about 50 yrs for people to start FULLY accepting BTC LIKE a normal currency.
I'm not sure bitcoin can survive in 50 years although in fact I hope bitcoin can last until i being old. yes of course the government will always out against the existence of bitcoin until whenever. |

Bitcoin will not only replace dollar but fiat currency in general! And I hope it'll be soon ^^
I also do not think that the Bitcoin is ever going to take over the Dollar because that means that Bitcoin has to become legal. I think that allot of Bitcoin users will get upset if this ever happened. I think that the chance is bigger if the Dollar would take over the Bitcoin. Dollar is already the best currency and it don't nee to take over bitcoin, as its already above the bitcoin and no currency can take its place now and not even in future. You are right and I also do not think this is gonna happen because the dollar is way too big and used by mny people. Its just not reachable for the bitcoin and the bitcoin is even dependin on the dollar. |

Many still uses oil. Hmm maybe in a decade or more. But that will be a long time. We dont even knew what could happen. Oil is gaining back its price. Dollar is the one crashing so there are some possibilities but not that big percentage for the next decade. |

This is indeed impossible the dollar is too big, the bitcoin market is even depending on it. As a example if the dollar falls the bitcoin will also fall for a pretty big part in worth. |

That would take a long time to realize and not soon, we need to make it a point that bitcoins should be regulated by the government just to make sure that we are doing the right thing, even if how far we go but we failed to secure the support of the government, bitcoins will be in the watchlist and that is so dangerous entrusting our money in the blockchain. |

I think Its very difficult to compare bitcoins with dollars as both of them their have their own advantages and also would prefer to choose either which would be more convenient for them and the users of dollar are high and it is widely accepted currency so it's difficult to see that bitcoins replace dollars very soon due to price fluctuations and lack of adoption. |

I agree with you bitcoin is more effective if it will not going to replace dollar but as a secondary currency for dollars. Because no one can ever replace dollar but if the government will make dollar digital that's possible to change the fiat dollar currency. |

I agree with you bitcoin is more effective if it will not going to replace dollar but as a secondary currency for dollars. Because no one can ever replace dollar but if the government will make dollar digital that's possible to change the fiat dollar currency. Only if the government will support bitcoin but we have been waiting for too long for that to happen, the government has already been alarmed especially the AMLC and Central Bank with the large transaction of bitcoins online. |

That's a long future to wait my friend, we should not long that will happen because that would be very impossible, every state has their own pride as they want their money to reflect the greatness of the well respected people in their country, just like our money we can see the face of our hero and with bitcoin it would be a uniform coins regardless of your country. Actually that is just a simple explanation but the real issue there is they cannot continue to operate the corruption in the government with transparent bitcoin. |

I think that the Bitcoin is never going to take over the Dollar because to make that happen Bitcoin has to have physical money in order to do so. Also do I think that the US is never going to allow that because it will cause way to much trouble for the people who do not know what Bitcoin is. |

but i guess it will take a really long time until bitcoins will be able to replace the fiat because bitcoins will surely become popular only after a few decades in my opinion though anything might happen i think that bitcoin will surely replace the dollar pretty soon thus allowing all of the bitcoin users to benefit a lot in the future, i hope that one day we will use only bitcoins and nothing else |

it probably will not happen, because I think the dollar is very comfortable to use, but I may have felt that bitcoin will be made in order to use a credit card, or perhaps with a barcode system
