Bitcoin is just another currencie,that can be exchanged against any other currencie,with a high value against any.Bitcoin values isnt either 1% i would risk to say such but,about any currencie around the world volume,soo why it should be able to replace?We will advance and fiat printed will be over

Bitcoins has many pros: money transfers are easy, low fees, security and privacy in payments are a few. But in all of its advantages, it cannot replace paper money.

Even though bitcoin is continually becoming global day by day, it still not as accessible as  paper money or as convenient. Its still under development. And there are still many poor countries in the world without access to this kind of information let alone a computer with internet connection, so e-money is not really a choice.

And as i said, its E-MONEY. Cryptocurrency. Most people does not really trust something they cannot touch. They have no assurance that they really have that kind of money without holding it on their own two hands.

So yeah, until people have been informed and assured that its legit, paper money is still the way to go.

Bitcoin is not as special as the fiat or dollar, it does not have the blessing of the government to consider this as a legal tender, in law only legal transact are valid and legal in transact and since bitcoin does not bear with a qualification, it will be hard for it to replace dollar.

It may eventually do that but i don't think it would be in the next ten or more years. Judging from howbbutcoin is performing right now, it has a chance of challenging the dollar but to replace it, it would take way longer for bitcoin to do that.

Yeah, but the point is that why bitcoin change into dollar, Dollar is a fiat currency and Bitcoin is a crypto currency, both have a different ways, and also it mean bitcoin would be changed into fiat currency?

The thing is that people shouldn't be thinking about whether or not Bitcoin is able to replace even the weakest fiat currency in the world as it will not happen.

As long as that sinks through, people will then directly realize that replacing the Dollar is something that is only possible when done by the government itself, and not Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is an alternative currency, and nothing more. It's working, people are already using it on a daily basis, it's an investment as well, store of wealth, and the list goes on. Instead of day dreaming, use it.

And what about the quantity? Value is not everything, but just think before saying it can replace dollar by seeing the limitation of it, dollar does not have a limited amount being used in the world, that is something can be generated by the government or the bank of america, but bitcoins has a limited amount which wont be increased so i dont think it can fill the gape.

I don't trust the source of that article. I do believe that bitcoin eventually replace the dollar but not within 15 years it will take way longer than that. Imagine how many people need to adjust to the bitcoin currency. I do believe the bitcoin is the future and a really good investment

Yup very far even to challenge the dollar reign right now. Can't see it happening in the next 10years. Although as you've said, right now bitcoin is showing huge promise and potential, with how people are so used to the dollar, i think it might not happen at all

Dollar is/was strong only because of oil. The era of oil is already slowly ends. It is just matter of time when electronic payment will take advantage on physical money. In Scandinavians countries already 50% of transactions that are digital transactions.. Time of dollar is running..

It will happen, but maybe in decades. The bitcoin has a limited supply and the value will rise over time.
