Sinner has won the match against Hurkacz. The first set was win by the polish player but lately there was not match (at least on third set with a strong win of 6-1 !)
About Italians player, the former winner of Wimbledon, Berrettini again out of the game! It seems that he was injured and he has left the tournament Terrible year for the player

Italian tennis is in a great place with Sinner leading the way but BIG KUDOS to
Musetti who just beat Djokovic over 3 sets, now if Zverev can despatch Medvedev
we have a very interesting tournament ahead!

Its a pity for Berrettini, its bad luck that he is plagued by injury, such great talent.
He really needs to get fixed up and playing competitively again.

Medvedev to play Rune in the quarter finals, which will be won by Medvedev.
Fritz to play against Tsitsipas, which is in favour of Tsitsipas. Fritz used to reach quarter finals in most of the tournament.
Rublev vs Struff - Rublev seems to be the favourite.
Sinner vs Musetti - The fight for the Miami Open trophy could've given him more confidence to perform. With that we can expect an easy win from him.

A few surprises yesterday and the biggest one is of Novak Djokovic not being able to convert while he was up a set and a break. 4-2 up in the 2nd set after winning the first but ended up losing the match. Another surprise was Medvedev playing well on clay against Zverev (French open semifinalist, twice). Zverev was serving for the match a couple of times, being 5-4 up in the 2nd set as well as the 3rd. He just couldn't close it out. He also had a match point in the 3rd set tie breaker, but he couldn't capitalize on it.

You are right about this, I thought against Zverev there would not be much for him to do and in the second set he was broken by Zverev so trailing 4-5 it would be the end of the game so I decided not to continue watching this match but when seeing the final score and him winning this proves that he has progressed quite a lot on clay, and in fact if Medvedev could have played more calmly in the first set he would have ended this match more easily, and the ideal final would probably be Medvedev vs Tsitsipas and the rivalry between the two always hot on the field.

What was also no less surprising was seeing Ruud, who couldn't play well on the surface which was his favorite, lose to Struff was really unexpected, especially in the first set, he even found it very difficult to get 1 game, while Djokovic lost to Musetti, not so surprising because he doesn't really have good stats here and yesterday's match his service wasn't working well and Musetti wasn't playing very well actually it's just that Djokovic was even worse than his opponent.

It is a pity that two match points were not enough for Zverev. The match was really very close between the two opponents. A win would have Zverev given him a lot of confidence because it was so close. But also a great performance from Medvedev. He has improved on clay and the fact that he fought off a match point in both the second and third sets at 4:5 has to be acknowledged.

Is Zverev back to his former level yet though?

What he still lacks is consistency. The first round against Bublik was very mixed than he had played well against Bautista and now he lost very close against Medvedev. I would say that the trend is upwards.

Medvedev lost pretty easily against Rune. It is expected because Rune is really good on clay and Medvedev is complete opposite from that. Medvedev maybe beated Zverev but still he struggled on clay but improved a lot in the last year or so on it.

Agreed, both players are definitely making their mark on the game, really hard to pick
a winner from this matchup, eventhough I would love Sinner to win, Rune has been
impressive so far, I think the winner of this matchup will win the tournament.

Rune and Fritz have made an awesome play. I predicted it to be win for Medvedev ans Tsitsipas.
Every quarter final results have come out of the direct set winning. No match moved to 3^rd set.
Medvedev losing 3-6 4-6 against Rune is unexpected, so is the win of Fritz 6-2 6-4 against Tsitsipas.
Semifinals needs to be tough as the quarter finals looked to be something an one sided matches.

In the doubles the team of Fritz and Rune have pulled out, they are obviously giving priority
to their singles competition. Imagine they could very well meet each other in the final!

They are both underdogs in their respective matches, Sinner in a big favourite to beat
Rune, 1.49 - 2.6.

Rublev v Fritz as odds go is closer 1.86 v 1.91 - that could go either way really, but my head
says Fritz.

The match has been suspended because of a rain interruption. Both of the players did want to still continue as far as I assume.
But the officials had to make a decision. There was not going to be a fair result, if the match was continued, in my opinion, as well.
The match was certainly going to go to the third set for sure.

But anyway, I guess we’ll never know .

The match reached the deciding set. Same as the second set Rune took advantage at the last moment with a break point and won the match. The match is supposed to reach the tie breaker, because at the last point Sinner was at the lead 30:0, further it was Rune to win every point(15:0, 30:0, 30:15, 30:30, 30:40 BP MP). The final is going to be interesting as both are almost equally strong and placed close on the Association of Tennis professionals.

Sinner was not able to close the match and Rune has been able to win... each time this player is strongly unpredictable at least to me

well in the second and third set the danish player was playing again at high level and not like the first set where he was a "ghost" with a lot of unforced errors.
Sinner has been able to recover a break point but against player of this rank he need more for a win... lets see an interesting final between Rublev and Rune!
