I've been hearing the prospect about this kid, Wenbanyama. Where he's possibly going to be when he's going to enter the NBA? There's the picking/draft round but there's also the other ways of acquiring him by most teams through possible exclusive contract or buying his contract to the current league he's in. Is he really that like a future or just an overhyped? I don't wish him to end up but I don't also want people to expect a lot just as mostly thought of Oden.
People looking at him as perfect proto type player and looking and his highlight we can really say he is so good many NBA player agree that he's generational one. Hopefully he will not get stab hard by injury before he land on NBA because if he get serious one maybe what you thought about being another Greg Oden might be happen. His chances to become a superstar on the hard court of NBA is actually good and his talent will surely a big help to any team he lands on, although, he still have to improve his build and buff a bit because his height will be much more needed on the center rather than shooting threes downtown. I don't think that he's overhyped, he is just really one of a kind per generation.

Honestly Jerami Grant wasn't very focused on Jamal Murray, when Jamal Murray made the move he was going to the right if he hadn't followed that move and stayed static in the same position he would have managed to make Jamal Murray miss the 3 points, but Jerami Grant fell into the murray trap and with that it was too late to prevent the ball from being released and the Blazers lost the game, in a game in which the Blazers were very well in the first part of the game that even looked like they they would win this game with only minor difficulties, but in the second half they dropped a lot in performance, in the third half they improved in performance, and in the last half it was very disputed and they had the bad luck to lose just near the end of the game
Dame got hot, that's a fact. But Murray got hot too in the 4th quarter. Fact: Murray only had 4 points in 3 quarters. It's only the 4th quarter where he felt the zone is in him. What triggered it? Technicals, defensive 3 seconds. He made all those free throws that kept him going and suddenly he changed. He got his rhythm. Blazers was focused on Jokic and they forgot about Murray. Honestly, I thought Jokic will be the one to take the unrealistic shot but I was surprised about his unselfishness, and he gave it to Murray. Almost like telling Murray to redeem himself and he did.

If Grant was static, Jamal does not need to step back and make a difficult shot. He could have just shot straight up on his first move, and I am sure that is a higher percentage shot than a step-back 3-pointer. Not just because you have the advantage of hindsight does not mean you can say that he defended better if he did not move. Jamal Murray is a high-IQ player; I am sure he would react and shoot differently if the defender reacted differently in that situation. That's the thing when you have veteran players, it's expected that they will be reliable but that's only during their best nights which is not that frequently happening to the team. Nonetheless, they still have a couple of months to improve their current roster and maybe that time, the Clippers big three will carry the team along the way. Hopefully there wouldn't be no injuries as well as we already know what will happen to them.
Expect that the Clippers will have injuries along the way. Leonard has become prone to injury, more and more each day. John Wall is also prone to injury. The clippers are lucky they have a strong role and bench players. If not, they will be at the bottom as well because of the unavailability of these two stars.

Alperen Sengun, the guy we talked about a bit time ago here had another game and it wasn't enough, I really thought that Rockets would beat the Spurs and Alperen had one of the best dunks of the season, he had a coast to coast run and then dunked on Collins and it was epic, they called an offensive foul on that, and we all know it was not, just look at every players reaction and every pundits reaction and you will see that it wasn't and there are a million examples when this wasn't called, so it was a bit about how they like to call everything a foul when it comes to Sengun.
He must be hated by the refs, it is really frustrating to see as a Rockets fan, they just hate the guy, he could have been a much bigger star if refs just give him leeway as much as they give to other players like Morant.

There’s a good doubleheader on ESPN tonight. First up is everyone’s favorite, the Lakers vs the 76ers. I tend to think the 76ers have the advantage there. Especially if AD is still battling the flu. Then we have the Bucks vs the Mavericks. This should be a good one as well with the leading MVP candidates facing off (Luka and Giannis). A great night of basketball ahead for sure. Enjoy!

Today is the anniversary of Tracy McGrady scoring 13 points in 33 seconds. T-Mac had a great performance 18 years ago and helped the Houston Rockets win the San Antonio Spurs. Those were the years when the NBA was much better and we enjoyed watching basketball. Even though it's been almost 20 years, I can't forget this match and this performance of T-Mac Those who want to remember can watch: https://youtu.be/1jbtt6OGLms

Murray is the go-to guy of Denver if wasn't with his injury, they might continue the chase for the title, but luck isn't on his side, he need to sit and cure the injury before he can come back and play. It's his determination and like what you have mentioned, Jokic, with his trust to his partner, let him take that shot and Murray makes it and grab the win for Denver. Dame is back no doubt that Blazers really being boost but it's not enough for them to win the game.

It is really not easy to see a basketball player from Turkey doing a great job in NBA. Cedi Osman was doing just fine about this but his recent performance doesn't seem impressive to me. But Alperen Sengun started to shine bright here. He has really impressive statistics for a center. He is a really athletic player at the same time. He made a statement before like he was believing in Rockets to become a more successful team than this in the future. This is a really nice motivation maybe but Rockets need some big changes to make it happen.

The performance Nets have been showing in the Eastern Conference has been pretty impressive so far. I know that they lost nearly the half of their games but they are still at the fourth position in the standings. Especially their recent form is impressive. Irving and Durant's staying for at least one more season has helped them as well of course.
These stars are still very important for them to be more productive in scoring points. However this performance might still cause them some trouble after the end of the regular season. They need to get as many wins as possible to keep their mental condition high which would prepare them for the playoffs better.
I realized this too... I believe day after day they are improving... It's not something very significant, but it demonstrates they are there and they could be in the playoffs soon. I also believe... Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant have a great job ahead of them. Yes, they are indeed improving in the past couple of weeks especially after Irving's return. Although they still got beaten by the heavy teams, but they are still showing some signs that they will be bouncing back on their next game and let alone Nic Claxton for being a reliable in the center so that Kevin Durant can be more free to chase points and do what he's best at. If these Nets duo will be find their rhythm soon, I bet they will be much harder to defeat. I'm surprised to see them at the 4th seed but when I look at it closely and compared their average on the opposing conference, I found out that they will be surely sitting on 8th seed or even lower than that because the competition in the West is far more intense than the competition in the East.

I agree, it was just a better offense by Jamal Murray, he pulled that kind of move, it's really hard to guard that specially that step back 3-pointer because you created a good distance from the defender. Jeremi Grant try to prevent him from going right, but then Murray shift let and still Grant is in front of him, but that step back was the killer, the dagger. I don't think we can blame Grant in this situation, as you have said, he is a high IQ player, it's that Murray is a better offensive player that can read the defense being put to him.

There is no other way he lands on an nba team other than going through the draft for him. He will 100% be drafted 1st pick in the first round. That team will have the rights to him and he can't go on any other team. From what I've seen he is the real deal. Problem with young kids that tall is that physically they have thatch up against men. Could break down his body. If his body holds up he should be real good.

You're right. I also noticed Grant's poor defense at that crucial moment in the match. There were only 3.8 seconds until the end of the match when Murray started making fake moves to create space for a more comfortable shot. I think the Blazers would have won the game if Grant had realized that his opponent had almost no time left and started defending as closely as possible against Murray at that moment, thereby forcing him to either pass or go to the side of the paint.

Yes, I believe this will be the trend, day after day they will improve until the team manages to improve its chemistry with the return of Kyrie Irving, and with that, they will have an easier time participating in the playoffs. Today the Nets will play against the Hawks, both are with similar wins/losses, Nets (14W/12L) and Atlanta (13W/12L). I don't know, but I believe that the good phase that Brooklyn is going through, they will have chances to win this game today against the Hawks

I found out that they will be surely sitting on 8th seed or even lower than that because the competition in the West is far more intense than the competition in the East.
Doesn't really matter as that was always the scenario of most East teams when we put them on Western Conference standings. There is even a scenario before where those teams that competing for the final playoff spot in the West, can be in 4th place when put in the East. What matter is, to secure a playoff spot, would be better if they won't go through a play-in tournament as that was really a hassle game, especially that sitting on either the 6th or 7th spot is still a critical spot to gain a playoff ticket.

I hate to see how they treat him but I also like how media and every single NBA viewer back him up. It was one of the best dunks of the season and a big humiliation to the defender but it didn't count in the end. There were a lot more controversial calls on the game against Rockets but anyway, they should be happy to stay at the bottom. They can get number one pick next season and it would be more beneficial for them in the long run, instead of winning against poor Spurs.

crazy last couple of possessions in the Blazers-Nuggets game. Dame did everything he can to win the game but Jamal Murry showed up just in time to match Dame. Very clutch 3's at the end for the win by 1 for the Nuggets.
It was indeed as they expected but they forgot Murray is on the court with the Nuggets this year and they miscalculated how sharp-shooter he is and Boom! that was one of the greatest wins for the Nuggets this season. Dame will remember it because he was supposed to be doing it and he was known to sink that kind of end-game score but that's just the way it is because sometimes when you comfortably dunk on someone, one day you will get a dunk. No doubt with this game, Jokic's score in the MVP race will rise as well. I don't think they forgot about Murray though, it's that Jamal is really this player that we are expected of him, so he hit that big shot. You will see that the design of the play what to give the ball to Murray's hand, that's why when Jokic gets the ball, he immediately pass the ball to Murray and just a few dribbles and then feints and they he let it fly and nothing but net. Hard breaking lost for the Portland team though. And you know what was the great thing about Denver Nuggets? They were playing really good and almost a title contender without Jamal Murray when he was injured. And without him, Jokic played crazy and they were quite successful for a team that lost its star. I think that he is a really great player. Maybe can be called superstar even. His highlight plays are unbelievable. I also agree that in that last possession, he was obviously planned to get the ball and use the last second opportunity. And he executed perfectly. Well, too bad for Portland. They indeed did everything they could. But sometimes other team just have one of those moments.

Yes, I do agree, it was all on the shoulders of Jokic last season and that's why he put another statistical numbers to win the MVP. But now that Jamal Murray is back, it will be interesting how far they can get into this years' playoff. Porter Jr is also going back if I'm not mistaken, so Nuggets could be another contender this year. They have the reigning MVP and now have the second and third option for the team. But it's going to be a very competitive West, lots of good team obviously so we will see if the Nuggets can at least go the finals with their solid lineup.

That's a huge improvement for the Nuggets, I see that they aren't dominating now but slowly they'll show their consistency. Having Murray who is a clutch player is such a relief for the team as they'll be unpredictable in the playoffs. Murray and Jokic as their leaders, would already make a team better, look what they've done with the Blazers in their previous game, looks like they still owned the Blazers.

I am waiting for MPJ to be back on the line again. He started 16 games this season and it is a productive one especially that game against the Chicago Bulls where he made 31 points. Let's not also forget Gordon, he is getting better and the chemistry is clicking between him and Jokic. Eye-to-eye contact plays are happening unlike last season. They have the reigning MVP and now have the second and third option for the team. But it's going to be a very competitive West, lots of good team obviously so we will see if the Nuggets can at least go the finals with their solid lineup.
Playoffs first, this part of the league had become their major problem but now they will deal with it in a stronger roster. DeAndre Jordan had become a good backup center too and it was seen last night by registering 3 blocks.

I’m watching the Lakers vs 76ers game and man is this De’Anthony Melton kid lighting up the scoreboard. He is 8/11 from 3 point range on his way to 30 points. I don’t think the Sixers would’ve won this game without him. A great performance for a relatively unknown player against multiple hall of famers. He’s going to be one happy guy when he gets home tonight. I’m happy for him, but would have preferred a Lakers win as they’ve been playing great lately.
