On another subject, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, I don't know if he loses because of the name or if he plays in Oklahoma, but this year his personal rating is far below the value he deserves. He should definitely be in the top 3 of the mvp candidates. He scored 42 points today, scoring 82% from the field and 95% from the free throws. Flawless.

He's playing in a lottery team with no star teammates. His boosted stats doesn't mean he could be in top 3 in MVP ladder. He's already in Top 10 and that's more than enough.
Jokić has triple double stats and his team is first in the West, he's naturally no.1. Antetokounmpo has 32.3 ppg and 12.4 rpg, Embiid has 33.3 ppg and 10.1 rpg. Tatum and Dončić are other players in Top 5. That list looks fair enough.

I've been watching this issue ever since they reported that the Trail Blazers had been giving him Toradol shots just to make him play the game.
Will they really give him back or will the Blazer just pay the fine and the trade will continue? Without Curry for their offense, the Warriors will rely mostly on defense and they badly need help on that end of the floor but with GP2 being benched too, this will be a big problem for them. It's like nothing was changed.

I was under the impression that when they got Donte Divincenzo, he is the one replacing GPII in the line up. And in some games, not just Donte provided defense, but also a good contributor, like 10 points or more.

He's actually the type of guy that you don't expect to be making an impact to help the team win games. Actually he did impact the Lakers? I don't know, but I saw him improving his 3 point shot, there were games that he was instrumental on winning games, like he got one steal, then a 3 point shot, but he both FT, but still he managed to play good defense on the other hand.

But yeah, the problem with Bev is that he is not a a pure point guard and not a scoring. He is known for defense, but he might be definitely out of his prime and now team doesn't see him as a good fit for them and probably could be bouncing around the league if not, no one will take him in the next season.

The only trade I put my thumbs down was because I thought they had strong bonds in the team and he was really helping to make the game more fun but at the end, he was traded and probably stress about it because based on his post, he wasn't expected about it. Though he will be back will De Agello Russel, the Lakers have a different plan. Now that Westbrook is no longer there and they acquired some decent players to help them, they really need to do better and get to the spot where they will be in the playoff tree this season.

They don't have neither Brown or Smart, but they have players like White, this Hauser player and their newly acquired Muscala who scored double digits. Add as well their three-point shooting which the shot 21/51 for 41.2% from it. How can the Grizzlies allow them to shot 51 tries and make 21 of them?

I agree, Ja Morant has reasons why he is looking at Boston Celtics, right now they are on top of the East, just slightly behind the Bucks who are in a 10 game winning streak.

But I think Celtics is more complete and I would say that their stint in the Finals last year was a blessing for them. Boston Celtics are at the top of the table right now in the Eastern Conference. And I also do not think that people are actually not interested enough in the Celtics. They are more interested in who is getting traded or not. Sam Hauser is absolutely not very popular, but he is certainly scoring like a popular player for sure.

Celtics is a team that is not dependent on certain players. They are a team that can rely on any player. Almost all of the players in the team have the capability to play well when needed. And that is a certain type of depth that every team aspires to have, Now that is what they are showing. Even without too very important players in the team, they are performing really well and also winning games.

Ok, that is a fair point. Can't argue with that. I was just trying to make a point of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's great performance. But, when I think calmly, of course my top 5 candidates for mvp race would be the same. As you have pointed out, his team is far from being a title contender. He can't be in the top mvp race unless he has some 35-40 ppg. But he has a huge potential and with right teammates, he can be in the real mvp race in his career.

Also, I have read that Zion Williamson is injured again while he was training 3-on-3 games. Thankfully, not for too long, only for extra 2-3 weeks. I hate that his potential is being wasted and his good times at 22 years old is passing. This would be his time to improve for the superstar level. I'd really hate to see such potential and excitement from a young player is fade away. I hope he can eat good and be healthy and be one of the most exciting players of the league.

I mean, this is actually good news as the Magic is far from being a playoff contender and might not even enter the play-in tournament.
This possible buyout will give him a chance to pick teams if ever there will be choices for him. And the Warriors are part of that rumored team who is interested to take PatBev.

I think Terrence Ross is planning to join Phoenix Suns. For the right price, they might squeeze him for a little help on both ends. The Suns already risked too much by saying goodbye to their 2 premier players Bridges and Cam Johnson, maybe Ross will add some spice to their team after getting KD.
