Can this thing store Scrypt coins?

There's no difference between SHA256/scrypt coins when it comes to private keys format, so technically this is not an issue. We have the infrastructure in TREZOR that is able to handle different coins, but in the beginning we'll support just a few. More might come later with the firmware upgrade.

The pin is typed that way:

Client displays:
OOO
OOO
OOO

trezor display (changes every time):
954
128
367

So no chance for keyloggers.

Will seed recovery work the same way? I noticed you have good resolution on the OLED, probably enough for 26 characters on 3 rows. Seems like it would be better than using hardware keyboard, as the seed is more sensitive than the PIN

?

Just a question, are you guys also planning to implement a "message signing" option?
That is something that is missing I guess... Would appreciate it!

That's of course one of the core features.

Great!

If this device proves to be reliable, I would estimate you will sell thousands in matter of months :-D

The more I think about it, the more I think everyone with at least 1 BTC should have a Trezor!

Any estimates on possible pricing? BFL is coming out with a rather impressive chalenger, though it will be rather pricey...

AFAIK they have not shipped yet.

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

I thought they said they'll be shipping the metal ones by the end of January, and the plastic ones early February?

Would be nice to hear their schedule at least, even rough estimates.

“Our hardware producer had an unfortunate error in the finalization of the cases and we needed to run a completely new production batch so we’re again in a delay,” a company spokesperson told newsBTC on Thursday evening.

Sounds like it was not their fault but sadly a manufacturing error has forced them to delay delayed shipment. Hopefully we can get an updated ship estimate soon.

http://www.bitcointrezor.com/news/2014-02-10-trezor-metallics-delivery-update
metal model delay confirmed on website.

@slush,
- to what extend does that influence the plastic versions?
- can I add an additional plastic trezor to my preorder delivery?
- what would it cost?

Would be ironic of Trezor was the one promisiing two weeks, and BFL ended up shipping their wallet first.
