Leclerc again on the pole! Interesting to see the race tomorrow and see how Hamilton is going to react. I think it's time for Mercedes to shine again and get the first place after some races.
@Naida_BR Ferrari has stunned everyone by sealing the pole position, and all credit goes to Leclerc for keeping faith in himself and delivering for his team. I feel it’s about time Ferrari prioritises Leclerc ahead of Vettle, and if Leclerc wins it tomorrow then that’ll be his third consecutive victory of this season. It’s also pertinent to note that Hamilton and Vettle are starting at 2nd and 3rd position respectively, hence this race can go either way. Source: https://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12433/11813907/singapore-gp-qualifying-charles-leclerc-snatches-stunning-poleTotally agree with you. Leclerc is much more stable in his driving this season. Vettel is so clumsy and Ferrari's strategy pushes him far away from the podium. Hopefully, Ferrari will recognize Leclerc's performance and give him the chance to be the 1st driver in the team.

Another amazing result for Ferrari and Leclerc, also Vettel did a good time too but James seems more comfortable or stronger than Sebastian.
This was uneexpèted, this is a race where Ferrari is supposed to be weaker than Mercedes.
If only Leclerc didn't make stupid mistakes at the start of the season probably due the low experience now he was probably fighting for the title.

We are on 33th lap and the race is not so competitive as expected. Mercedes made some bad decisions and they left behind. We have to wait till the end of the race to see if Hamilton is going to make some pressure to the Ferrari's.

What a boring race so far, second safety car but nothing really happened so far.
Vettel is on 1st position for afortunate succession of events.
LeClerc seems to be faster, does he will attack is captain?
Do will tyers resist till the end?

I doubt tyres resist till the end because this is a long track with 18 gear changes during a single lap.Leclerc is now the guy with most pole positions and I am sure next year if he is been given a equal competitive car as Mercedes he will become the new F1 world Champion, for this year I think Hamilton will win.

Great race for the Ferrari, they won with strategy.
Vettel was lucky to be on the best spot at the best time otherwise LeCreck won the race. Mercedes in very bad space and no comment on Bottas he is so bad driver with no balls. He can't do anything to hurt a position to Hamilton.
Is very hard for Ferrari to fight for the title now but they seem in a very good position, mentally and with the last upgrade to the car, with the car too. Too bad is very late on the season.

Well, it was quite boring race without much action, we only saw true racing in the middle of peloton. Ferrari decision to pit Vettel first was crucial in this race. And I don't know why Charles is so unhappy, because in previous few races Ferrari favoured him. This win after such long break was very needed for Vettel. Mercedes in very bad space and no comment on Bottas he is so bad driver with no balls. He can't do anything to hurt a position to Hamilton.
Bottas know where he is going and his role to be second driver of Mercedes. Team order sucks, but in past we also saw such things with obvious 2nd driver in Ferrari (Barichelo, Massa) or RedBull (Webber).

Yes, this is his role but as a driver do you will do it? If you accept a deal like this one you will do only for money, there is no other reason for a driver to refuse the possibility of winning. I remember the years of Redbull with Webber and Vettel, was a duel on every race. Also, remember Rosberg and Hamilton, Lewis is not the only winner of the title win Mercedes on the last 5years.

Bottas signed new contract with Mercedes, it probably shows that he is happy with his role. Money is probably big factor too. It's quite obvious that Bottas is average driver in great car, and even if he would get same status like Hamilton, I don't see him fighting for title. Rosberg story was different. He was very talented driver with big ambitions and he had different status than Bottas. But it's obvious that Mercedes always favoured Lewis.

This is a big true. I have a light memory on the season 2007, the season where they had Alonso and Hamilton on McLaren Mercedes, they started to prefer him there. Hamilton was a British, pilot. The 1st black man who could win the title. I remember at one time Alonso said "Or me or Hamilton here", the next year Alonso left the team only after 1 year back to Renault. The kept Hamilton over a 2 times world's champion.

I think team orders should be penalized heavily as they take away a big part of racing adrenaline of they were not given to the second drivers of the team.Yesterday it was explicitly told to Leclerc to not do anything stupid and he followed for sometimes this year. The team which has given most team orders in history is without a doubt Ferrari.

It was kind of a boring race yesterday. Such a pitty for Lecrelc who lost the first place from his teammate. i don't think it was a strategy mistake from Ferrari. Vettel was just some seconds faster and passed him when he was in the pitstop.

Ferrari did the strategy with Vettel to save his position from Hamilton.
LeClerc was stopped 2 laps after in that time Vettel went very fast and did the undercut not only on Lewis but on Leclerc too. They did the strategy to beat Mercedes without favoriting the leader.
They did a race for the team and not for the single. Great result, too bad is too late for the championship.

Totally agreed. On the other side, Mercedes' strategy was built on giving advantage to Hamilton. Hopefully, Ferrari was the fastest team on track and secured the 1-2 podium places.

Has anyone heard about some crazy new rule for next season in formula 1. Commentary on local TV for last F1 race mentioned something about new grid order for next season that is on paper for the moment. The thing is that qualifying would be like this format every third race. For second and third race grid would be from opposite, first would be last in the grid. From one perspective we could have interesting races with lots of overtaking, but also think we could lose something else. Maybe we will see more SC in the race, but this is something not worth it more like touring car championship they have two races and opposite grid.

Vettel's current contract expires in 2020, he will be replaced by THE Son, Mick Schumacher.
Mick is doing great in Formula 2, and I can't wait to see him in F1

If you don't believe it or don't get it, I don't have the time to try to convince you, sorry.

Yes, there are a bunch of new proposed rule chnages for 2021. https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.2021-f1-rules-the-proposed-blueprint-for-racings-future.1Yaz5mXGa4RqEzyCt8meC2.htmlNot sure if they are all 100% going to make it into the 2021 season but it's what they are pushing for. Not all change is good. -Dave
