Even if he can't stop not a big deal Mercedes is dominating here and it will be easy podium

Very chaotic qualifications, again very bad for Ferrari. Verstappen on the front row will surely make the race more interesting on the front too if he manages to have a proper start and no issues, he picked up a nice slipstream 

Focus on midfield though, again so tightly packed, almost all in 2 tenths, it will be a safety car right on the start I believe and it will affect the race surely.

Qualifying is the same as the races this season. Basically Hamilton wins, unless there is a crash from someone else which creates unforeseen problems for him.
He got pole anyway today, but he may have a further problem as a result of the Q2 chaos - it means he has to start the race on softs...

Verstappen at P2 comes really as a surprise. He wasn't that strong in the free practices. He found some extras during the final qualification run.

Let's hope he get the same speed tomorrow.

The start will be fun for sure, in this race is better starting from the second or third position since there is a long way before the turn they can reach higher speed for the wake effect.

Weather will be probably sun for all the day.

Today is another race where what looked like a routine Hamilton win was thrown into doubt because of outside events rather than wheel-to-wheel racing. 2x 5 second penalties for practice starts, and Hamilton now has to fight his way back through the grid. He did ask his team if it was okay, and they said yes... the fault lies with the team, but should Hamilton have got the penalty if it was entirely the team's fault? I think probably yes... he has the best car because of the team's decisions during the design process, so it's only fair that he also receives the negatives from when the team makes poor decisions.

Congratulations Fabio Quartararo is still able to secure the top position of the temporary MotoGP class, he finished first. This is the third win this season. Joan Mir and Alex Rins finished second and third. Fabio Quartararo leads the standings with eight points with second place Joan Mir.

Double noob mistake done by Hamilton today  , Mercedes won anyway with Bottas and Hamilton managed to do less damage possible to his position in the leadership.

He has now 45 points of advantage and 7 GPs left, everything can happen but he already has almost 2 Gps of advantage, assuming both wins for Bottas on these GPs.

The next GP is in Germany at Nürburgring in 2 weeks and we have 3 more GPS in Europe.

Will be maybe fun to see GPs here in Italy in November with a possible cold temperature and no grip for cars

Bottas said f*ck to haters, but saying it after he won race in such way - well, it doesn't looks like a strong message.
Not a bad race for Leclerc - P6. But for me it was a bit strange that stewards didn't even investigated his accident with Stroll.

They did give him 2 points, to take him to 10 and within 2 of that one race ban. But...
They've now gone back on that decision, and fined Mercedes instead (because it was the team's fault, rather than the driver's).
So Hamilton is back to 8.

That's right, Hamilton has to study the rules.

Two weeks ago, when he entered the red at Mugello he went to the commissioners without knowing the meaning of the flag he had seen at the entrance to the pits.
Today he did a starting test on a point where he couldn't do it, TWO times.
When he took the penalty today, he asked on the radio why they why he needed to wait 10seconds on the pit box change.
I understand that you are probably the strongest but at least the basic rules ...

Names of the day for me were Gasly, Leclerc and Kvyat. Those 3 had the best possible race they could've had and it was nice to watch Gasly coming back and taking the points his team thought he deserves

Well I think a lot of people don't like Hamilton that much due his behavior. If something doesn't go in a race as he expected he start acting like a little kid. He got the best car, best team behind him and in other years he was very lucky with decisions of the stewards. This year he isn't that lucky and already got some time penalties.

I think that Bottas finally made a good dedication on his second victory on Sochi.He explicitly said on radio that he dedicates this win to all the bad mouth talk and to his critics.Finally some signs of life from Bottas although the win was greatly helped by Hamilton 10 seconds penaltys

I wonder this as well. He's been disliked ever since he started. There's no obvious reason for it.

Well I think a lot of people don't like Hamilton that much due his behavior. If something doesn't go in a race as he expected he start acting like a little kid. He got the best car, best team behind him and in other years he was very lucky with decisions of the stewards. This year he isn't that lucky and already got some time penalties.

He does get a bit petulant at times, but the thing is, so do the other drivers. Max for example is probably worse. Vettel is certainly worse. Hamilton is certainly no worse than his rivals in this regard, so I don't think this is a valid reason for disliking him.
Yes, he has the best car and best team... but this doesn't change the fact that he's also the best driver. Ferrari have been close to them in quality of car for the last couple of years (this year obviously not)... but they weren't a championship threat because their drivers aren't as good.
Not convinced either that he's luckier with steward decisions.

Good race from Quartararo, but he have many luck than the race are finished, the race pace from Suzuki are amazing. Sorry for Rossi, so he have also a chance to win but after his second front Tyre mistake he have already no chance to win his 10th championship. But i hope for his 90th win.

Specially Gasly vs Albon Remember that Gasly was kicked out of the Red Bull and Albon was the one that replaced him. This overtake meant a lot for Gasly to show he has it and that he is on par or better then Albon in "weaker" car

I don't think Albon will be kicked out of Red Bull soon, as Red Bull saw that they need to give more time to younger drivers and that swapping dos not bring that much desired change so easily.It was a satisfaction for Gasly to overtake him anyway for sure.

Too bad, he looked really fast that day I thought he could win. He followed Morbidelli before going wide and Quartararo led the race to the end being champions. Unfortunately he fell on Lap 16. Is it a tire problem like you said or Human error?
The latest news seems that the spirit of the old racer, Valentino Rossi, has not disappeared. I read in several articles that in the 2021 season he will join Petronas Yamaha SRT.
