A 480 gets what 25 mh/s?

Mine modded ROM gives 29MHs per RX 480 8Gb Nitro+ card

32MHs probably very intense from point of view power consumption and heat?

Actually, no. I can do above 30 with a REAL low undervolt, 33MH/s is about max it goes.

Could share the parameters and consumption?

900W with 5 GPUs, all above or around 30MH/s (one at 33MH/s.)

Can you share bios mod or file settings?

Of course not. Took a while of working with the timings to get them hashing that well.

Share for a contribution? Would be happy to send something your way for your efforts.

From my experience it is a gpu that is 100% hung and prevents the miner from restarting without a power cycle or a gpu reset. I do this automatically in my bat script using DevManView.
Devmanview bat
Code:
@echo off
echo.
echo *** Restarting GPU
timeout /t 2 /nobreak >nul
devmanview.exe /disable_enable "Radeon (TM) RX 470 Graphics"
echo.
echo *** DoNe

Thanks for this man, seems to be working for me

Why i have the same hashrate for ethereum in single mining mode and dual mining mode Huh Please help me (i have 7990 and two 7950 and the overall hashrate is about 50mh/s in mode 1 and in mode 0)

Are You complaining or what? If You really want to slow down with ETH speed try mining LBRY as second coin. Or increase -dcri to insane high values like 80 or 90.

Hello, i have a rig with 6x rx 480 8gb nitro+, sku 11260-01-20g. When i OC it memory to 2050, after some while miner sends me a message Miner thread hangs, need to restart miner. When it is -36 udervolt, 1250 gpu, 2000 memory it works 24 hours, if i just undervolt it to -78, after 10 hours miner stops working, and i have to connect with teamviewer press S, and it just says miner thread hangs, need to restart miner, it restarts and continue normally. I want to just undervolt a little more then -36, because i dont wont this huge power consumtion

it is probably just one card. Find which one and mod its bios with less agressive timings. it will hash less but hang less.

I have a curious problem on one machine that has been hashing flawlessly for almost 8 months now.

One RX 470 4Gb just dropped to 14mh/s from the regular 27mh/s. And no matter what I do it, reset BIOS, change clocks, increasing volts, DDU wipe, it just wont go back up. On a system reset it sometimes starts hashing at 18 but settles back at 14 in a few rounds.

Could it be a dying card? Has anyone ever encountered a card going bust such that its hashing continues but at a lowered rate?

I've 6 gpus hashing around 29.3 using Jukebox bios. I've bought 3 additional gpus from local store (all same brand models)
I've tried to flash same bios to those new cards but Atiflash fails to flash 512kb bios file. However it is able to flash Boysie's 256kb low power bios.
Jukebox (512kb) low power bios is providing 0.3 MH more per card. So if we have any way to flash those cards with 512kb bios I'm open to recommendations.

Friends, there is some command or some configuration where I can close the Claymore automatically when it is disconnected because there is no way to send new jobs or many invalid shares have been sent (Miner disconnects automatically if pool does not send new jobs for a long time or if pool rejects too many shares) I need that when the claymore is disconnected for any of these reasons, the program will close automatically

From OP or Readme:

-retrydelay
delay, in seconds, between connection attempts. Default values is "20". Specify "-retrydelay -1" if you don't need reconnection, in this mode miner will exit if connection is lost.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Hello
This week I'm going to buy 2 new rig and I have some doubts.
I raise 2 options.
option 1:
7 GPUs Sapphire Radeon NITRO + Rx 470 4GB (I still do not know if I change for the 480)
1 PSU EVGA 1300 G2
24 m / h x7 = 168 mh / s in ETH 250 h / s x 7 = 1750 h / s in ZEC
option 2:
7 GPUs SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon R9 Fury 4GB
1 PSU EVGA 1300 G2 for 4 GPUs
1 PSU EVGA 1000 G2 for 3 GPUs
28 m / h x 7 = 196 mh / s in ETH 450 h / s x 7 = 3150 h / s in ZEC
All reference values are approx. In stock without bios mod.
Mobo: Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon
Processor: Pentium Processor G4500
Memory: HyperX FURY 2400MHz DDR4 Non-ECC CL15 DIMM 8
Currently it is cheaper to buy this mobo than the MSI Z97 Gaming 5 that is difficult to achieve and still supports 7 GPUs
I am in Venezuela, so the electrical or internet cost is not an important factor to take into account.
I would appreciate your opinions for which option to invest and if I should correct or change something.

I hope you have read this article and will take appropriate measures

https://www.forbes.com/sites/timworstall/2017/01/27/congratulations-to-venezuela-bitcoin-miners-arrested-for-stealing-free-electricity/#33e783214b03

On your question on what to buy. I personally would suggest to wait for Radeon Vega to be released which will have better ratings.

McAfee Antivirus started aggressively marking both Claymore and Genoil as an Artemis trojans and quarantining folders on Win10.
Manually telling it to "restore" does not seem to work/stick.
Just wanted to let you know, I know that it is not.

As much as I like the 390 for the brute power keep in mind that a 1300 is barely capable of powering 4 of those, forget about dual mining with it, it would be better for you to have it work at 220 volts, it more efficient at that voltage, then you have the issue of your instalation, we are talking about 10 amps, that times 2 is more than a regular house socket is disigned to work at.
Add to that the fact that they run hot, very hot.

MSI Z170s had problem to serve more than 4 GPU. Maybe new bios fixed that. Also celeron 3900 is sufficient. 6x480s are best option ( half heat than 4x390 ) and 1300w is best. Good luck.
