Claymore's Dual Ethereum + Decred/Siacoin/Lbry/Pascal/Blake2s/Keccak AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner.
=========================

Latest version is v11.2:

- some improvements in AMD GPU kernels, it can increase hashrate a bit in some cases.
- reduced some delays, it will cause a bit less stale shares.

Working fine for now.

nice work claymore

Hash rate up by about 0.2 per card

POWER has gone up by 1.25w per card

Not sure if the increased hash is worth the increased power- unless performance improvement of reduced stale shares offsets it
will check for 24 hours

Thank for the new update, Claymore.

Have been running the latest v11.2 overnight and see the following:
- rx580 8gb up from 30.6 to 30.8 Mh/s
- Vega 56 no change
- Vega 64 up from 44.1 to 44.3 Mh/s
Stale shares at ethermine down from 6 % to 5 %.

Nice Smiley

Edit:
I just restarted my miner (only the .bat file) and now suddenly one of my cards drops from 44 Mhs to 34 Mh (after 5 mins running). Keeps hashing at 34 for 30-40 secs and then back to 44. Don't think I have seen this before...

Yeah happened to my Vega 64 as well..dropped from 44mh to 29mh for some time..

Guys,

please give some advice to total noob. What to mine with ETH on claymore today. Is it possible to mine ETH and ZEC or Zcoin...at same time or one could only set 3 cards ETH 3 Cards ZEC/Zcoin. It is very confusing right now I am lost. Is ETH or ZEC like main currencies to mine and I need to find some "low profile" coin as addition to this main currency...I mean what currencies can be mixed that is what is confusing me mostly. I am using rig with 6x1070 Asus dual OC cards

Thank you for all your help

Thanks man.
Went from 175 to 177 and 172 to 174 on my rigs.
Also dual  for xvg went up to over 19ghz from 18,5 ghz
Only thing that sucks is that the clock settings are not activated on first startup if rig had a restart. Bit that occured on previous versions too. When I start second time it's ok. Maybe this can be fixed that would be great.

Good update v11.2, moved to it and I see less stale share on ethermine, thanks!
Can you please tell me what is the best "ethi" value for RX580 cards?

v11.2:
- some improvements in AMD GPU kernels, it can increase hashrate a bit in some cases.

+1% hashrate confirmed on RX 580 Nitro+ 8GB (Hynix) with v11.2

Had to set -dcri to 10 though (single mining ETH)

Many thanks Mr. Claymore

I had this symptom (among others). It only went away after a clean Windows installation (tried DDU and other things many, many times).

If you go down this road, make sure you do absolutely everything you can to block Windows Updates

I turn off win update in services and stop process but after restart sometimes it turns on again.
Any other way to Completely Block updates?

Right "-powlim -30" means 70% of default max power usage.

Right "-powlim -30" means 70% of default max power usage.

Why would one use that?

If you have very expensive electricity or a weak power supply.

Can anyone help me with getting claymore miner on SMoS to work ? Im trying to mine UbQ with some 1070 Nvidia cards and cannot get the miner to run.
I am using this in Claymore-eth-v10.6 config:   -wd 1 -r 1 -epool stratum+tcp://us.ubiqpool.io:8008 -ewal mywalletIDishere/Octo -esm 0 -epsw x -allcoins -1 -asm 1 -mport  127.0.0.1:3333
I tried this in v11.1 as well which is the latest on SMoS. Thanks if you can help out!

For those interested in dual mining with Claymore:

@NLpool we run multiple Blake2S coins now. The pool is very stable and running nice for more then a week.

You can dual mine this coins with us:

- XVG Verge
- Shield
- Tajcoin
- Nevacoin
- Infocoin

For Keccak you can mine:

- Maxoin ( First blocks found )
- Creativecoin
- Smartcash

And if you want optimal use of your RIG, then add a CPUminer and mine YenTen for extra coins! Yenten has also been added to our pool today.

If any questions join our Telegram channel @ t.me/nlpool or check our website nlpool.nl

Happy mining!

OC not working first time miner is running? Using start.bat

I have OC set in my config
-cclock 1150
-cvddc 0850
-mclock 2000
-mvddc 850
-tt 57

The first time miner starts all gpus hashing 24.9 mh/s in eth.

If I close the miner window and open start.bat (which contains gpu force etc as mentioned on first page) the miner starts and gpus is hashing 30.x mh/s

Amd 18.2.3 drivers, compute mode enabled. (Trixx, wattman and amd settings etc is not installed).

I see the same behavior, though GPUz shows the frequencies that I intended to set, the miner hashes about 10% low.  I stop and start again and it's back where it should be.  This happens when using the older Blockchain drivers or the newest Adrenalin drivers.  I thought I was losing my mind.  Glad to see I'm not the only one.  I've just learned to start twice after any re-boot.

Lower powet usage. Very low impact on hashrate. I have 39 gpu in my apartment. I cant use the washing machine before 30A fuse breaks:)

Due to critical bug with rejected shares I uploaded v11.2 again, please re-download it.

If you are not sure if you updated properly, start miner and find "b517" in the log, at the beginning, this is correct build number.

I dont find b517 on Linux. Was the bug on Linux too, and how to check all is OK? Huh

Beside that when upgrading I've seen performance (ETH only) down about 50kH/s on each RX4/580, but after relaunching my optimization process (Memfreq, dcri, ethi), I won 50kH/s. consumption seems slightly lower. I have to verify all, but it seems good on Linux+amdgpu v17.50. Smiley

How to use -powlim ?
-powlim -30 (the gpu is limited to 70% power usage?)
Exactly, but only for AMD cards, it's not supported for nVidia GPU cards.  The range is -50 to (+)50.

Hi, guys, I am new in the mine business, I live in Spain and I would like you to recommend me which video cards to buy, with good hash and low energy consumption.

This is what a got so far:

Asrock H110 Pro BTC+
Intel Celeron G3930 2.9Ghz
Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 2666 PC4-21300 8GB 2X4GB CL15
HDD 80 GB
EVGA Supernova 1000 G3 1000W 80 Plus Gold Modular
Riser Card PCI-E Express
GPU = unknown

I would like your opinion, I do not judge anyone

Thank you

if budget is not an issue I recommend 1070ti
ETH 31.3mh/s
125-128w

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2324651.320

The real challenge is how to get them easily with a decent price Grin

Anything past 1060 is a waste for ETH. Use the card's powerful GPU to mine something more profitable and then exchange it to ETH if you love it so much.
How do you figure that?  I get nearly double from my GTX1080 ROG/Strix OC than I can from my 1060.  A 1070ti should get just about the same, and a 1080ti gets more.

Some 1060 cards work better than others: my Gigabyte 6GB GTX1060 gets 21MH/sec but my 3GB Asus card gets close to 23MH/s.

How to use -powlim ?
-powlim -30 (the gpu is limited to 70% power usage?)

Right "-powlim -30" means 70% of default max power usage.

Why would one use that?
Both my GTX1060 6GB and RX480 4GB Sappire Nitro+ cards get best ETH hashrate at 70% of their power (-30) - by 15 to 20%.

Yes, Been like that for the last 24 hours. I see higher hashrate in the miner and stale shares are down, the sudden drop on one card (not the same each time, but always the Vega's) for 1/2 minute, then up again. Average hashrate last 16 hours is down ~3 mh/s.
Rolled back to v.11.0 to keep the rig more stable...

@Claymore; Any thoughts?
