The next byteball airdrop will surely be remembered: the Securities and Exchange Commission will let us know whether or not the COIN ETF from the Winklewosses got final approval or rejection while us, following byteball, wait for the next byteball distribution round.
Exciting times indeed

This post from superresistant brought me to the idea to create a little smart contract with Byteball. However I do not really know how to start. I played a little bit around with the chatbot like " how to create a smart contract?" or " create new smart contract". It did not bring much. Is it planned to create a kind of development reference or maybe there is already a tutorial with which you can start? I have a developer background. That's why it can be very technical.

Remember to vote for Byteball if you have an account on Novaexchange . We are at 101 of 250 votes required. You can vote daily. Regards. https://novaexchange.com/addcoin/I do not think that this exchange can give something significant for this project. But it certainly will not be superfluous. Yes. I agree. Not a big exchange but won't hurt to have it listed there. Many people have been asking for more exchanges. Small exchanges become big by listing the best coins early, this is how poloniex became big by listing xmr. Byteball should flip this, don't beg to be listed, if small exchanges want to be big then they should offer incentives to the best new coins, not other way around.

The exact total is unknown but there will be as many times as possible until all bytes are distributed.

can we get a normal exchange that doesnt trade only gigabytes but normal numbers? we need serious one like bittrex or so, not unknown one like now
this is not looking good for the coin
Will you stop whining about that please? why this coin is only on some strange exchange?
can we get bittrex not some scam exchange? also not everybody has gigabytes, bytes should be traded too
can we get to soem normal exchange finally? we are on some random and untrusted one. why not get to bittrex ?
Can you please stop sig spamming this thread? either contribute to the discussion or stop whining about asking for another exchange. We have all the exchange we need right now and we can p2p trades

If tony continues to develop at this rate by the time distribution will be over, this coin will be famous, I mean top10 crypto easily. I just wonder how he does it alone!

At the same rate for a year, it wont be top10, it will be top1. Because, bitcoin is not very usable for other purposes than financial transactions, too low tps, too small other-data possible in the op_return field or whatever its called which allows only 80bytes. Other coins are too many nerds with little invention at once, little new technology, most are actually altcoins just changing a few parameters here and there, or adding "anonymity" while still being usable-only-if-you-can-read-assembler-from-a-distance-and-code-by-snapping-fingers-to-represent-ones-and-zeroes, or the other way too much "lets satisfy enterprise companies and banks". While Byteball, already supports immutable data, declarative contracts, assets, private payments etc. At this development rate, someone is gonna make not 1 but 3 "killer apps", and then its top1 digital currency.

PLEASE UPDATE your wallet Important security update 1.5.1 https://github.com/byteball/byteball/releasesIt removes a XSS vulnerability that allowed remote code injection via specially constructed chat messages. Thanks @portabella for discovering the bug. The update also includes a minor performance improvement. Upgrade is mandatory. To protect those who didn't upgrade fast enough, I'll update the default hub to refuse connections from clients that run an old version.

80 bytes is enough to store the hash of data (to prove its integrity) and the link to the actual data which will likely be provided by a CDN.
