Critical error when sending blackbyteball:

The fees must be paid in bytes. Do you have enough bytes for the 3 transactions used in the binding payment contract?
I have 1000+ byteball, is it enough?

You may need more than that, Id guess 3000 bytes would be enough.

Byteball Community Announcement

The Byteball crypto project has done great so far. ....
...
I am delighted  Smiley - irrespective of all monetary aspects (which also look good), the project advances impressively.
Conditional payments with version 1.5 is a great solution.
I find it extremely important to provide potential developers with good / pioneering solution examples.
It seems the declarative language makes it easy to portage existing (successful) business models.

The Byteball Community Fund is a crucial step for the development of the community.
I will keep my bytes very long, but at the end of each year I will donate 10% of my profits to the fund.. Grin

Continue this way and the success is unstoppable

Question: is it possible to link multiples bitcoin addresses with one Byteball wallet?
Yes, one wallet can contain many addresses, but it is also possible to link multiple bitcoin addresses to one byteball-address.

I do not think that this exchange can give something significant for this project.
But it certainly will not be superfluous.

what about HD wallets that generate unique addresses each time a spend is made and you have funds scattered around many addresses?

You can either move your complete balance to one linked address or you can sign a message for all addresses, one after the other. Sounds like a lot of work with signing but actually it could be faster because you don't have to wait for slow bitcoin confirmations!

message signing is still hard or not yet possible natively with hardware wallets. so there's only the option of moving all funds to the one address.

Here's a good list of wallets which supports signing: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0

This is a tutorial about linking with a trezor: https://medium.com/byteball-help/tutorial-on-linking-trezor-wallet-to-byteball-account-via-signing-a-message-b4e390d7e1a8#.e9iy0wwzw

fyi for those interested you can sign messages with your ledger nano s wallet as well. you need to plug your xpub key into https://iancoleman.github.io/bip39/ to get the path derivation that matches the btc address you want to sign the message with. getting access to the xpub and signing the message are both accessible from the chrome app. this is how i'm linking my btc address this time around instead of sending funds like the first time i participated last round.

Yes. I agree. Not a big exchange but won't hurt to have it listed there. Many people have been asking for more exchanges.

The next byteball airdrop will surely be remembered: the Securities and Exchange Commission will let us know whether or not the COIN ETF from the Winklewosses got final approval or rejection while us, following byteball, wait for the next byteball distribution round.

Exciting times indeed

This post from superresistant brought me to the idea to create a little smart contract with Byteball. However I do not really know how to start. I played a little bit around with the chatbot like "how to create a smart contract?" or "create new smart contract". It did not bring much.

Is it planned to create a kind of development reference or maybe there is already a tutorial with which you can start? I have a developer background. That's why it can be very technical.

Small exchanges become big by listing the best coins early, this is how poloniex became big by listing xmr.

Byteball should flip this, don't beg to be listed, if small exchanges want to be big then they should offer incentives to the best new coins, not other way around.

Start with this primer https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1617816 and the whitepaper section about addresses.

mistype something and your wallet could go empty.
