Hummm.... looks like the number of connexions to a hub is hard coded :

I'm not sure but through local conf.js I think you can override:
Exports.MAX_INBOUND_CONNECTIONS = 100;
Exports.MAX_OUTBOUND_CONNECTIONS = 100;

I have a lite wallet, I send a small amount of BTC to the given address.
In my wallet is a "Transition Bot (05vF)“ but it is still empty. NO BYTBALLS 

I have also BTC in my linked address. What is wrong?

Just wait for a couple hours you will get the token, you can see the previous post from @CryptKeeper, He already announce first, need some hours to see the token in your wallet

Over the weekend I syched up full node byteball wallet and linked to electrum. However,  after waking up this morning I was surprised to find 0 byte balance. Internet was not down and my both wallets were open. This is the screenshot http://imgur.com/a/2LkL7
Has anyone else experienced this issue?

If you linked the address before the snapshot and you had bitcoins on it you just need to wait some hours before bytes will be sent to the wallets.

The distribution snapshot was taken at block 461387!

Getting the follow error from 1.7 wallet (on mac):

Make sure that the disk is not full and there are no hardware problems.  Try restarting the wallet.  If nothing helps, this might be one of those unfortunate cases when you have to use a backup.

No ICO here, just distribution of byteballs and blackbytes, of which the 4th round just happened a few hours ago. You don't have to pay anything for it, but do read the first post for more info.

P.S. Just thinking.. if all the coins are already generated in the genesis block, http://coinmarketcap.com/ should show that and the market cap should be somewhere around $70 000 000 That gives us 11-12th place on the ladder..

Wallet witnesses list seems not correctly updated by hub ? (is there a bug here or am I missing something... ?)

Let me explain :
I have a hub running at wss://byteball.fr/bb
I have a witness serial posting for about 24 hours at MEJGDND55XNON7UU3ZKERJIZMMXJTVCV

In the byteball.fr hub conf.js I have replaced 12th position witness by MEJGDND55XNON7UU3ZKERJIZMMXJTVCV (in exports.initial_witnesses array)
Restarted hub -> OK

In my wallet settings -> Hub : I have connected to wss://byteball.fr/bb instead of default wss://byteball.org/bb
In wallet settings -> Auto update witness list from the hub -> I have set to "disabled" (no green tag)
In wallet settings -> Auto update witness list from the hub -> I have manualy replaced 12th position default witness by MEJGDND55XNON7UU3ZKERJIZMMXJTVCV
In wallet settings -> Auto update witness list from the hub -> I have enabled again the auto update

Problem : the wallet is suggesting me to replace MEJGDND55XNON7UU3ZKERJIZMMXJTVCV by the previous default 12th position witness

Restarted the wallet : same result, it keep on suggesting me the default 12th witness when enabling auto update.

What's wrong ? Did I miss something ?
