I'm trying to recover from seed and my wallet isn't synced yet. PC full wallet says there no active accounts found and does nothing... Does it mean I have to wait untill it's fully synced (over 12 hours)? My phone just soft bricked and I'd love to factory reset it asap but still want to be sure don't need any data from it (I'm only able to download via adb)

Dont know if it's just me, but it took over 1 full day to sync the network.

Are other people having these problems?

Syncronization very fast with modern multicore 64 bit hardware and without recovery from seed.

Hi,

I am quite new in the crypto world, and I am a bit lost with distributions. I am really interested with this project and I would like to buy some coins. But I have some doubts..

On 11th Aprill will be the next snapshot (distribution), it means that the price will drop because there will be more coins?

I have read that with 1 BTC you receive 62.5MB (0.0625GB). What is MB or GB? Are them coins?

Do I need to have a Byteball wallet? Is it easy to install for a non tech guy?

Apologies for all these question that might seem a silly ones. I will appreciate any help..

Thank you!!

No one knows that price will drop, but that is what happened last two snapshots I think.

Base unit is bytes. MB is one million bytes, GB one billion. So for one BTC you receive 62500000 bytes. You also receive 0.1 bytes for every byte you hold in your linked wallet address. So if you have 100 MB, you will get 10 MB more.

You need the wallet and yes it's easy to install.

MB and GB are memory not coins I hope this helps you so to your question 1 BTC will get you 62.5 Megabytes (MB) of memory or 0.0625 Gigabytes (GB) I hope this helps you out!

I have a top of the line mac, don't think its hardware issue ...

No, in Byteball they are coins:

... bytes (the native currency of Byteball)

Many thanks Krypt, Gtswpm60, jwinterm!!

Now I have a better understanding Smiley

But I still have some doubts.. The price today is around 66$. It means 1 byte = 66$?

Then.. if you have 1BTC during the snapshot, and you receive the bytes. Later on can you move the 1BTC out of the wallet without losing any byte?

Thanks in advance!!!

No, 1,000,000,000 bytes = $66
after snapshot you will free to move your bytes or BTC without loosing any

nice coin, hope this coin success and waiting available at poloniex, i also waiting for bounty  Cheesy

Sorry byteball doesn't offer any bounty program at the moment. But you can get some bytes free of charge if you will join the upcoming distribution.

Where can I find information about this?

We are moving towards next free distribution and unlike last time my position is better this time. Though these holdings are not very high but still are enough to bring me some reasonable portion. I will do agree without any reservation on the fact that it is of course next high valued coin. I don't say current vale isn't high but it will be much more.

Is that another forum? I'm curious about the long term plausibility of this software.

As the blockchain scaling problem continues people are going to look more into alternatives and soon they will notice that directed acyclic graph is superior. Much faster transcation times.
So with byteball we have conditional payments, chatbots and payments in chat. Very light and easy to use wallet and free distribution when all you have to do is sign a messege from your bitcoin wallet and link your address.
I don't see any reason not to get involved in this

Is there any privacy concerns with linking a bitcoin address to a byteball?

What the public knows: The public bitcoin address that links to the public byteball address.

As far as the move from Bitcoin to Byteball goes, it's all in the public domain.

If someone knows that you own X bitcoin address and you link that, then they can tell that you own those Byteballs.
