Anyone getting a virus warning from Microsoft Security Essentials

Trojan:Win32/Vigorf.A

file:C:\Program Files (x86)\Byteball\node_modules\bitcore-lib\node_modules\elliptic\node_modules\hash.js\lib\hash\sha.js

This is version 1.5.0 of Byteball

I'm running 1.7, current version pretty sure, and have no issues. Any reason not to update to current build?

With version 1.7, its still detected as a virus.

I think it is a false positive, this is a big project byteball dev will never intentionally include a harmful virus in any version of the wallet.

Is the Transition Bot dead? No responses.

I think it just experienced a busy day and it requires a vacation now.

I've read somewhere that you have to be paired in chat with the Transition bot.
Do you?

P.S. Nice price recovery, by the way.. byteball grows smooth and steady Wink

I tried engaging the transition bot and it just echos whatever I say. Does that mean I'm too late? Or that the bot is temporarily offline?
yes, that means you were late for the fourth round. The transition bot will be up and running again for the fifth distribution which will take place in May

The progressive distribution was a smart decision, byteball has plenty of room for growth as it develops.

I wanted to make a wallet full backup further to blackbytes arrival but wallet says that export is impossible with no futher details (wallet v1.7.0 on Windows 10 with plenty room on my DD).

I was able to make full backups when I had no blackbytes in my wallet.

Wallet backup is the only way to save blackbytes.

Anyone else in this situation ? Please give a try.

I did receive bytes, but no blackbytes. I was under the impression it would be included after claiming bytes. Did I have to make a separate claim for the blackbytes?

From https://byteball.org/ :

In the 4th round, which is scheduled for the full moon of April (April 11, 2017 at 06:08 UTC), we'll distribute 62.5 MB for each 1 BTC of linked balance and 0.1 new byte for each 1 byte you already hold. To participate, install the wallet and chat with the Transition Bot that will help you link your Bitcoin and Byteball addresses.
Maybe I missed the part where I should also link blackbytes addresses? How do I do this for the next round?

The transition bot tells you how many bytes you have on each linked Byte address. If it's not your complete balance, simply send your bytes to this address.

This doesn't answer my question about why I didn't receive any airdropped blackbytes.

You are supposed to receive blackbytes according to the bytes you receive depending on bitcoins on your linked BTC address and/or bytes on your linked Byteball address.

Did you have positive balances on your linked BTC address(es) and/or you Byteball linked address(es)?

On a side note, there has been cases where Tony had to re-send blackbytes to some addresses that didn't receive them during the distribution, before you contact him, let's make sure that everything was set up as it should have.

If we received bytes this time around do we need to sign up for the next distribution or will it automatically send them from now on, (as long as the address we linked still has funds in it.)

For the time being, linked addresses stay linked forever, so no further linking is required for subsequent rounds (if you want to use the same addresses), just make sure your funds are on linked addresses before the next snapshots.

Yes. That's why I did receive Bytes, but no Blackbytes.

In this case, I think something went wrong.

when trying to make a full back with password, twice failed, then closed chrome (was using about 80% of my ram), then it succeeded, is there a connection or why does the backup fail sometimes?
