Chatbot says that my wallet has 0 BTC but my wallet has ~0.2 BTC, does that mean that i have to have at least 1 btc in my wallet to recieve Byteballs?
You're bitcoins are on a different address (change address). Send yourself your complete balance, use the address you've linked.

Chatbot says that my wallet has 0 BTC but my wallet has ~0.2 BTC, does that mean that i have to have at least 1 btc in my wallet to recieve Byteballs?
Note: Your wallet has many different addresses. After each transaction the addresses will rotate (i.e. you did a micropayment). See also the explanation of kaicrypzen: I have confirmed my byteball and bitcoin addresses they are on http://transition.byteball.org/ but it says my balance is zero when i have bitcoin in that address? Also, remember that when you link by doing a micropayment, your funds are very likely to be transferred to a change address (which is under your control) and that you might have to send your funds back to your original linked address.
What does the block explorer say about your address? You surely have bitcoins in your wallet but not in the linked address (because they were transferred as change to another address in your wallet when you made the micropayment). You just need to send your funds to your linked address. Thank you for the reply, I changed method and tryed again. I setup an exodus wallet on my laptop and sent the micro transaction from that wallet which got confirmed and shows on your explorer correctly but stills says my balance is zero You want to link btc_addr1 to bb_addr1 doing a micropayment. When you send the micropayment m to bot_btc_addr, here is what happens: btc_addr1 -> bot_btc_addr : m btc_addr1 -> btc_addr2 : total_balance - m btc_addr2 is what is called you change address, when you do a transaction, the remaining funds go to a new address in your wallet (btc_addr2 in that case). The consequence is: btc_addr1 is linked. btc_addr1 balance is 0. btc_addr2 balance is total_balance - m (let's say it's your balance). Your next action, is to send your balance to btc_addr1. (There is no need to know what btc_addr2 is.) Normally, the bot tells you this (to send your funds to the linked address). The bot tells you it's 0 because it is 0 (you can check the balance of your address in a Bitcoin block explorer like blockchain.info to be sure that the bot doesn't lie ). Alternatively (if you use Electrum check out this tut): https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@xwerk/new-cryptocurrency-value-now-up-to-usd79-24-get-gbyte-for-every-bitcoin-you-own-for-free-byteball-distribution-step-by-step

Getting the follow error from 1.7 wallet (on mac): Uncaught exception: Error: Error: malformed SELECT hash_tree_balls.unit FROM hash_tree_balls LEFT JOIN units USING(unit) WHERE units.unit IS NULL ORDER BY ball_index
Screenshot: https://snag.gy/PUn5Vb.jpgWallet then crashes. Any ideas on how I can resolve this?

Works perfectly (real-time) status: Problem at the browser?? I just pulled all my BTC from exchanges and consolidated on linked address. The transition bot in wallet & http://transition.byteball.org/ both updated within half an hour. So yes, they are working fine.

Hello, one question will sound like stupid... How can I link account signing a message. The bot said before singning, you must "let me know your bitcoin adress first". How can I show my bitcoin adress to the bot? Writing it in the chatbot doesn't work... (using android wallet for byteball) Please, how can I tell the bot my BTC adress before pasting message signed?? I dont want to miss this round! paste address fist and click send icon, then when prompted paste the signed message and click The problem is: Paste BTC adress, click send icon. And nothing happens. Maybe because I'm working with Android Byteball-wallet?

E.g. you can't sign with a multi-sig address starting with the letter '3'!

Hi,
I don´t understand what happens..
I made the payment from my Ledger Nano S adress to my Gbyte address and I have received a message saying:
"Your payment from 1DLUqLmL8UFH3u6crMfxzYx8BqWSgCwmwt has 1 confirmations now.
Please make sure that 1DLUqLmL8UFH3u6crMfxzYx8BqWSgCwmwt is indeed your address and move all your coins to this address. You receive 62.5 MB and 131,943,750 blackbytes for each 1 BTC of the total balance of this Bitcoin address on April 11.
Current balance of this address is 0 BTC."
On this address I already have BTC. Did I do anything wrong? What do I need to do?
Many thanks!

This is a VERY nice gesture to offset the BTC holder advantage, even in some small way. BB so far has the easiest interface for a wallet I've seen, and see massive adoption potential if the word spreads.

Hi,
I need some advice on this... Any help will be really appreciated..

Current balance of this address is 0 BTC."
I don´t know if Ledger Nano S has different addresses for the same wallet... I am confused now.. I just paid the amount that chat bot said from my BTC wallet with btc in it. I don´t understand why is saying the balance on the wallet is 0
Many thanks!

The problem is the chatbot, when I post my BTC adress, nothing happens.
