Hey LoyceV, it seems I am also having an issue with blackbytes. I received the bytes from 4th round distribution, but no blackbytes as of today. What did you do exactly to receive it?
I sent a message to tony, but apparently blackbytes were still being distributed at that time. That has completed now, so I suggest you send tony a message if something still went wrong.

Version 1.7.1 released https://github.com/byteball/byteball/releases.  Upgrade is mandatory for full nodes.

This release fixes the bug "known bad 3CxaZ7iziNbFjbif9O8bSmKbtXK6RDEbdKuoBmnig1s=" that was posted above.

Also in this update:
* improved French translation
* fixed a bug that could cause an infinite cycle and make the app unresponsive

The update is only for desktop, as the bug affects only full clients.

The distribution of blackbytes is still under way, I'll update you when it is finished (hopefully soon).

Great now perfect! good work! .

New wallet fixed all problems for me. Can now finally see bytes and blackbytes as well as easily chat with the chatbot.

Great job!

I would also, but right now it's interface is very limited for real traders. for quick p2p it is enough

i am not sure. but i think i read here that they distribute the coins after the snapchat to the holders. but just install the light wallet. this is really easy.

@dev

Wallet witnesses list seems not correctly updated by hub ? (is there a bug here or am I missing something... ?)

Let me explain :
I have a hub running at wss://byteball.fr/bb
I have a witness serial posting for about 24 hours at MEJGDND55XNON7UU3ZKERJIZMMXJTVCV

In the byteball.fr hub conf.js I have replaced 12th position witness by MEJGDND55XNON7UU3ZKERJIZMMXJTVCV (in exports.initial_witnesses array)
Restarted hub -> OK

In my wallet settings -> Hub : I have connected to wss://byteball.fr/bb instead of default wss://byteball.org/bb
In wallet settings -> Auto update witness list from the hub -> I have set to "disabled" (no green tag)
In wallet settings -> Auto update witness list from the hub -> I have manualy replaced 12th position default witness by MEJGDND55XNON7UU3ZKERJIZMMXJTVCV
In wallet settings -> Auto update witness list from the hub -> I have enabled again the auto update

Problem : the wallet is suggesting me to replace MEJGDND55XNON7UU3ZKERJIZMMXJTVCV by the previous default 12th position witness

Restarted the wallet : same result, it keep on suggesting me the default 12th witness when enabling auto update.

What's wrong ? Did I miss something ?

The initial_witnesses array is used only when your hub starts for the first time.  You have to manually edit my_witnesses table in the sqlite database.

At the moment, your node is using the default witness list, which is visible on the explorer https://explorer.byteball.org/#IE9oVePdsRROljEuG7T07lQsNSsDMrM6Komo4uBc+Hk= (expand the Witnesses list in the right column).

byteball.fr/bb
byteroll.com/bb
Let me know if there are more hubs.

I guess it is your software (that produced this image) is trying to reverse DNS the default hub's IP address:
byteball.org: 144.76.217.155
mail2.teddyid.com: 144.76.217.155

Tony, you should change the wallet screenshot on the OP.. there is no Chat tab on it.. Wink

This bittrex add will give us some more Volume
Expecting 0.2 btc per gbyte soon Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

10BTC per Gbyte sounds more fair comapring satoshis to bytes.. but it'll took an year or two for that ballance.. Wink
