out of 25000 real name attested users, only 1700 had ever referred someone else.
I only see 20k: https://byteball.co/attestorsAnyway, two more questions: How many of that 1700 were when refferral rewards was inmediately spendable (with and without counting venezuelan ones)? And: When will you spend your deserved 1%? Thank you for all responses, especially the reason behind your apparently arbitrarly decision. I don't like arbitrarily decisions. byteball.co data aren't updated in real time. There is a latency but I don't know the reason.

Thanks for the suggestion but since most users (like Ben) are not going to be sponsors, we don't want to introduce extra steps for them.
I was thinking the opposite. Make users like Ben sponsors and let them spread the platform. But if you say they are not going to be sponsors, I have nothing more to say. I know what it feels when your suggestion is rejected, but what I say is based on data: out of 72000 steem attested users, only 6700 had ever referred someone else; out of 25000 real name attested users, only 1700 had ever referred someone else. I've talked with many people about the possibility of certifying their identity with the real name bot but the idea of providing a copy of their ID card repels most of them. Even with the money incentives. People care about the security of their official documents. Jumio is literally an unknown company based in the USA. The disrespect of foreign citizen rights expressed by the USA government and the last news about GAFAs security leaks don't help to trust the Jumio company. As I stated on Twitter few days ago, I will certify my identity in next days (waiting my new ID card, previous one outdated since October 10th) due to the warranties provided by the smart voucher about the bytes use I will give to people. By the way, I'm a binational citizen. Should I certify my identity twice ?

The developer (supported by the community) prefers to deal with side issues instead of finally running something that could have this currency ahead of all the others. The management would rather feed people's greed than the usability of the platform. Blackbytes could easily be exchanged for Altcois and Fiat if a wallet-internal solution is created like the decentralized app BISQ does.

Sure, some people you speak with will not want to, but the fact they have already done so many shows many are fine with it note: many people in crypto are probably more paranoid about identities than non cyrpto people in the real world (which is the vast majoirty of the worlds population)

[...] note: many people in crypto are probably more paranoid about identities than non cyrpto people in the real world (which is the vast majoirty of the worlds population) And that's exactly why the majority of the world's population doesn't (yet) want to have anything to do with cryptos... unless they want to buy goods that they can only get with cryptos. But that again requires that there be an easy way for them to exchange their Fiat for Bytes/Blackbyties, as in the case of this project.

Before you ask, we are concentraqting on distriubting Bytes first, I dont know when the blackbyte distros will start again. n.b. IMO blackbytes could be 'better' distributed than bytes, as we are learning lessons with bytes distros that can be used to distribute blackbytes better

Tony and your team deserve a lot respect...
They probably do, as they did a lot of work to develop the coin with many nice features. But the distribution direction was changed in the middle, the marketing was not good at all, this causes a lot people left the project, otherwise this coin should be at top 15 coin at least.

ROFL These new people only want one thing: to exchange their Bytes for Fiat at the next best opportunity. What else is there to do with it? So all Bytes will be collected by the small community of Byteball fanboys. I am really curious when community and development come to consciousness...

Byteball is a project that I really like I supported from the begining, however it is totally lacking in terms of publicity. Long gone are the days that a gret project can just flourish without massive PR.

Management does not respond to personal requests. One can only hope that the community will continue to build up appropriate pressure. Marketing and development must finally be adapted to demand.

Sad but true: I would bet against that Byteball was more than 0.38 BTC in summer 2017 - now it's 0.0063. If my calculation is correct we need +6000% against BTC. In only two months? Never say never ... but ... never.
