Yeah, eu is directed at US3 at the moment, until I can find a reasonably priced host in the EU.  Everyone wants so much for a basic server, which is all I'd need for the getwork server, it's pretty crazy.
Naturally.  But I didn't mean to hijack cyberlync's original question re: which is closest to eu?

Oh, sorry... they are all equidistant from EU Smiley

Can you PM me with the specs (CPU,RAM,Disk, B/W) you need, and I'll PM you with a quote and service details. BTC payment accepted.

Is there a way to withdrawal just the confirmed BTC

Under the "Pay Me" menu on the right of the "My Account" page, click "BTC" under "My BTC as".
thanks

Do i have to enable "NMC Mining" at the accout page to enable Merged Mining or is it NMC only than ?

edit:
Does the API return the value in MH/s or GH/s depending on the worker speed ?
Thats not really nice, cause i need to to parse the 2 cases.

If you enable "NMC Mining" you will enable merged mining, "NMC only" is not possible on EclipseMC as far as I know.

Yeah, I can't see anyone wanting to mine NMC only, so I've not made it possible to turn off BTC mining.  I suppose I could look into that if that's what you're looking for.

The API returns MH and GH depending on the speed, yes.  However, you can turn that off by including the mh=Y option for the userstats request.

Deepbit also runs @ hetzner

edit:
test mh=Y again, seems that it also reports in GH/s

mh=Y seems to be working or me; it's reporting MH.  Can you post a screenshot of your URL bar (black out or change your API key) along with the output?

That hosting company looks so close... still a little pricey but the best I've seen in Europe yet.  I need a lot of RAM, but not so much disk space.  Their pricing options increase quite a bit when I move up in RAM.

Hey, any reason we have these couple of miners with like 100GH/s who seems to come and go from the pool? Kind of freaks me out. I'm just a noob mostly still so I'm not accusing anyone of anything, but seems odd you would move THAT level of hashing power around all the time unless you were attempting to hop or possibly something more nefarious.

Now maybe just connection issues, etc. but does it freak anyone else out and is there any reason to wonder about this?

Well, I suspect it's either a pool hopping aggregation bot (ala GPUMAX, Bithopper or another one of those proxies) or a botnet of somesort... that about the only thing I can figure.

Perhaps a silly idea, but would you consider fundraisers for specific expenses like adding new servers. I'd imagine you'd get extra donations for something like that.

I would like to avoid costing the miners anything if possible... I've been so far reluctant to "charge" either in the form of donations or "insurance" or what have you beyond what it costs me to perform those services.  I am, however, looking at possibly having to charge ~0.4% for the NMC to BTC conversion, since I'm losing actually quite a bit on that, given the abysmal NMC rate and the only NMC exchange charges .4% when I exchange it... after NMC goes nowhere but down.  I've actually got close to 20,000 NMC backed up that's been converted at much higher rates than the market right now, so I'm out probably close to 200 BTC after factoring in conversion fee and market drop.

I was hoping another NMC exchange would pop up and/or the market would be more volatile, but it's pretty stagnant and headed nowhere but down.

If the time does come that the expenses exceed the benefit, I will see what I can manage as far as my conscience goes with regards to a fund raiser.  Everyone is operating on thin margins as it is, and cutting into profit to mine on a pool is not pleasant for anyone.

I'd really like to get a stable PoolServerJ or ecoinpool configuration that works with DGM, as I think that would reduce complexity, increase stability and offer a few avenues for expansion that would require minimal fuss.  Ahh if I only had everything to do all over again, so many things I would do different! Smiley

I really think you should have a hard look at ecoinpool. All I have been hearing so far is good things, and the language it is written in is even designed with minimal resource usage and scalability built in. However, if you like to write your own pool software, I can certainly understand the hurdle of learning a whole new language Wink
