BitCoin 20 Years From Now

I am beginning to worry more and more about bitcoin's future. In the past I would bet blindly that bitcoin will be great asset to hold for next 20 years.
But now I don't even know if there will be bitcoin after BU will be done 'upgrading' it. They want not only to introduce emergent consensus but also other changes as well.
Some of them are against the very principles bitcoin was build on i.e. possible changes to total number of coins just to keep mining profitable in the future.

Actually predicting that far is really impossible. So what else could we do? It is just faith that we have thinking bitcoin might give us something good in the future. We cant do much but just have patience and wait.  Or we could pursue other investors to buy for better market price because of demands. There is no really right prediction. Yup, 20 years from now maybe bitcoin become the new currency. They will use bitcoin than fiat for their online transaction. Yet, every corner of the world, people maybe use bitcoin for their daily expenses. All of that will happen if bitcoin is exist in that time. Without doubts, bitcoin would have become mainstream adoption in next 20 years. But the path toward mainstream adoption in between time might be very much struggling by considering in what situation currently we are seeing bitcoins. I believe bitcoin needs to solve many challenges and problems for that.

Mainstream adoption and value in millions are going to happen within 20 years itself. But keeping bitcoin scalable according to mass adoption would be the key here.

Do not worry at all. Most people that are in the bitcoin world long enough to understand all these dramas don't think that much about Bitcoin Unlimited. I believe that these new coin is just like the other altcoins which were made for the developer and early investor to make more bitcoins.

You are right, before investing on anything we have think about it whether it will give us the best value in return or not, simple example is if you are purchasing a land you will make sure that documents are original and you will definetly think about whether it will become popular after 5 or 10 or 20 years or not. so btc also we have to make sure to understand about it completely. it has successfully completed 9 years and it has given the best value in return, i can say from last year to this year itself it has doubled in its value so if just apply same formula and if we invest in btc then for sure will be millionaire because of the btc but again am looking on the positive side and it might go wrong also which we dont want it to happen.

Yeah and I don't see any replacement of bitcoins at a moment and neither in future as bitcoin is unique currency and many more innovative features will be added to bitcoin in near future and people will never prefer to switch to other currency as by that time they will be getting used to bitcoins.

Governments will always support the fiat currency as that is the main door for their corrupted activities and if bitcoin gets on the mainstream then it will be an full stop to corruption which government will never wish to happen but even if bitcoin doesn't gets support from government it will still keep on shining in future.
