Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Me thinks they aren't going to make September.  It's too quiet.  And if that is the case, where is the advantage for Day1, Day2, Day3 summer orders over the October orders?  Will October 15th be pushed to October 31st?

Zero - it is a total fail job..   sleep well

I am wondering how high the worry meter can actually go in the next two weeks?

The burn-in will take about 5-20 seconds.
They are only going to power up, not even time for things to heat up. What BS. They aren't going to risk pushing their chips in case they fail. In which case, a lot of defective units are going to be shipped to customers  Angry

i bet they meant minutes, not seconds.
I hope so.

20 sec is not a "burn in". It's a smoke test. Means that unless it catches fire, it'll be shipped to you Cheesy

KNC setting up the datacentre:

That's Sam right there on the left:

Quote from: Keith;n1689
For those wondering why we have been quiet on the forum, we've been busy setting up the datacentre.

"pleeease no more PSUs, this is a third of the way through, and I just want my weekends back!"

Hey how come nobody has counted the number of PSU bags and multiplied by 3 to derive the total number of hosted units ?

E-mailed KNC about pre-configuring multiple machines for hashing and this was the response. For those of us hoping for a BTC windfall during burn-in, we might be disappointed.

Dear Dana,

If you mention your pool worker in “My Account”, both of your miners will be pre-configured with this information.

The live net burn-in will be done by using your pool and other details that you mention in common information for pre-configuration of your miner.

The burn-in will take about 5-20 seconds.

Okay, this is the part I'm confused about.  We can change the configuration right?  "Burn-in" is not permanent right?  I have a Jupiter coming Day 2 and another in "October."  Maybe I'll just change my info after the first one is "burned-in."

no no, you are misunderstanding what burn-in is. its not "burning in the info to the chip" its turning on the chip to make sure it runs properly after heat and stress testing it, to make sure it doesnt fail. its about the physical chip, nothing to do with worker details.

I ordered 100 chips from BFL and 3 Jupiters from KnC at about the same time in June.  I told Josh I would buy him a bottle of champagne if I got the chips before KnC delivered. BFL just notified me the chips will be delivered on schedule 9/19/13. Come on KnC!!
