0.93 on both, had 0.94 on them but found HW was higher.

Just found this picture on ebay tonight dressed up with a note, even better claiming these are November units that just arrived at the beginning of December direct from that "Sweden company". Now I'm getting offers to Skype to provde they really are hashing..

If you try to order now for BATCH 4 it says "Orders placed today are guaranteed to ship by March 31, 2014." or about the time the Neptune ships.
In your dreams!

Hashfast have certainly messed up delivery if they promised October delivery. And they've broken promises. But so did kfc "refund up to shipping" lie, which they broke before a single unit shipped. And that happened when they had no competition and $30 million ish in orders! Imagine how it'll be the next time when dozens of companies have shipped and are competing. KNC are gonna be lying through their teeth to hold on to people's money.

As a side note, the clause "All refunds will be refunded in dollars and you can refund up to shipment" - you won't find any mention of refunds in any newsletters or marketing email for *any* knobtune batch. It's all been very carefully thought out. That statement was only on the product page, which is taken down immediately when they have sold. If it's not there, it never existed, right?  Tongue

So there is no record anywhere on the KNC website for Knobtune orders which mentions "All refunds will be refunded in dollars and you can refund up to shipment". Good luck holding them to a claim that does not exist. They've got very good by now at removing anything incriminating from their website, so it's that much harder to provide evidence to credit card companies/lawyers.

But back to the main point - delivery. The knc t&c's:
8.1  ...... The delivery date is provided for information purposes only and shall not be binding on KnCMiner. The Purchaser is not entitled to refuse acceptance of the Products, withdraw, cancel or revoke the order or make claims for compensation due to any delayed delivery.

Q2 is only for information purposes!  Grin

Hashfast now have a working chip. It'll just be refinements and products coming off the assembly line for 3 months solid. I dont know anything about Hashfast, but it seems like all they have to do it keep building something they now have working - shouldn't be that hard. So I see no reason at all for them not to deliver on or before March 31.

KNC are never going to ship on or before March 31. They even say they won't in there terms of sale! If there was any hope of them shipping March 31, they would have said Q1 and taken the flak if they shipped a week or two later. But they know they cannot deliver by this date, so they put out a whitewash date of Q1/Q2. They leave it up to people to delude themselves into thinking it'll be Q1.

KNC could easily have said April 2014 and that would probably still sound good to plenty people. But they have a three month safety blanket by saying Q2, all the way up to end June 2014 (and if they do what they have done 100% of the time before, that could easily mean July 2014). So you can be sure if they gave themselves a 3 months safety blanket, they need it.

And what KNC will be shipping is another beta, untested prototype pos vs a model that has been in production and refinement for 3 months. Would I sink my money into something that has been in production solidly for 3 months or some untested beta crap? Neither, as I'm not buying any new mining hardware right now, considering the massive losses I made buying untested faulty beta garbage from KNC. But it's pretty obvious which is the better choice - the refined product.

Good luck to merv77's fairly desperate reseller knobtune sales pitch. Say what you want to try to make knc's July 3.5TH sound better than 2.4TH in March, but don't bring my name into it thanks.

I've decided to ask for a refund on one of the three Neptunes I have on order in the hopes of buying more Jupiters if they go on sale again. I'll let everyone know if/when I get my refund and if KnC gives me any trouble.

I agree with you about March 31st being unrealistic. I'm hoping they deliver by April 31st and most of my estimates reflect that. What I can tell you is that I'd much rather have an untested beta product in April than a fully tested device in June.

I think KnC's main competition right now is going to be Cointerra. When they first came on the scene they looked really vaporware-ish, but it looks like they are for real. If they pull together a solid device without major issues then that will be good for our industry and ultimately us as consumers.

Cointerra is most definitely real, with fully automated assembly lines, capable of turning out more units a day than KNC in a week.

That's something to keep in mind.

KNC knows its time in the sun with 20nm has come and gone which is why it's moving to the next platform and is trying to position itself as the first, and major, industrial-scale mining equipment OEM.

I'm not the only one who's "seen it to believe it". There are others in this thread.. They lurk just like myself. Cointerra is a much larger operation than HashFest btw, keep that in mind. They have corporate backers. KNC is working toward that goal as well. Call it quite a hunch. So far, my hunches throughout 1,000 pages, haven't been far off if at all.

And it looks like some new hashrate is coming online today, just as we type. I guess it's not all hype huh buddy?

You're wrong. The person who runs the Eligius pool has verified that 1Nbq2XZaRsKknf5fcT2wTXvBS31PaUWSeX is not HashFast.

I don't have a problem with what cointerra has advertised so far, however claiming that they can make more in a day than knc can in  a week is nonsense until they are making something. Buddy. Lol.

I simply put out they have the capability to produce more, not that they are now or plan to reach maximum output. Their plan is to become #1 US Bitcoin equipment seller, with non-stop output once they're up and running. As such, they have contracted several fully automated assembly lines, and can produce around 25,000 units per 24 hours of runtime. They also have one of the biggest order backlogs, so it will help to unclog once they begin shipping.

This isn't new news or FUD, this can be found online, in this thread, and others, as well as simply talking to their CEO and Assembly manager. It's part of how (and why) they secured their backing.

You can shrug it off if you like, but KNC takes it seriously. That's worth noting.
