I discovered that one of my boards is running cgminer 3.9.0
Also it has the firmware 1.0
Anyone here that can tell me how to update cgminer using putty?
(i'm familiar with putty but apt-get is not working)
Anyone who has the firmware or the simple words to update?

Not sure if everyone has seen the April 29th news from KNC? http://forum.kncminer.com/forum/news-and-anouncments/38332-neptune-performance-upgradeThey are promising B1 and B2 Neptune owners will get 6TH machines, I would hope they would be a little more powerful based on the ROI at the current and possible future difficulty rate come June. But we'll have to wait and see, I suspect they will be forced to release them hashing higher for there to be any ROI on them come June. |

I would think that any group of people showing up physically at KnC's offices would have someone in the group taking phone video of the encounter and posting it on various forums across the Internet, no matter if it goes good or ill. KnC's reputation is at stake, even though they demonstrate they don't care about their customers or their reputations for quite a while now. Thankfully someone has researched the consumer protection laws of Sweden, posted links and instructions for them. Tip of the hat to you! Perhaps the Swedish government going after the scam artists that KnC has become will finally get resolution for people. After all, the Swedish government has far, far more money than KnC. |

Since I live in Stockholm and not too far from knc miners office which is like 15km from here I recommend first to contact the biggest newspaper in Sweden http://www.aftonbladet.se/ they are easy to get just tell them you have been scammed by knc miner and they will publish your story on the main page and knc miner will get a heart attack this is the best you can do right now other than filing a lawsuit against them. If you guys need any help or pics of there office I can try and get them. I really want to help the community here as majority of you have money stuck there hell some have even ordered 90 miners at once and are still waiting. I feel bad for you guys. |

Those of you planning on making a trip, I suggest you arrange, in advance, with KnC to meet there. Explain that you don't trust the packing or shipping company to not damage the miner more than it already is so would rather drop it off yourself. Better than going their unannounced imho otherwise they just might not let you in without an appointment.

Make sure you make a video once you arrive at KNC so you can post the results on YouTube, but don't tell KNC that when you are there. This way it will force them to come out of the closet and into the public's eye. I would also make sure you fully understand Sweden's laws before you go so that there isn't anything they can charge with if you show up unannounced. Just remember when you travel to another country to must abide by their laws or face punishment, your consulate won't protect you. |
