Well this sucks, payment processors are dumping bitcoin... http://money.cnn.com/2018/01/24/technology/stripe-ends-bitcoin-payments/index.html?iid=hp-stack-domI don't like viewing bitcoin as a store of wealth, it's supposed to be used for things. That is why I accept it as payment for services. But lately I've just been using Litecoin instead... That said it looks like there are onlly 70k transactions in the queue for a total value of 1btc in fees. Which should mean spam and an ability to transfer coins a bit.....

You know... I was about to try to make a funny post to do with Matadors - holding up a red cloth, waving "¡Olé!" - and then I see all these poor bulls slowly being killed by as they are pin-cushioned to death, slowly bleeding out.
The way beef cattle are put down is more humane than that - a quick, painless death by pneumatic bolt through the brain, before they are slaughtered. They go out like a light when done properly (Pro's don't miss)
Now I'm sad having seen the way those bulls slowly die.
Sheeit.
How about this bull-run, though ?
Let's keep the momentum going !!!
That pneumatic bolt you were referring to was used as a weapon in the film "No country for Old Men". Good watch.

I would love that the bull run continues. But the data is a little unconvincing right now. There seems to be an attempt to paint the tape with a double bottom, but on falling volume. Still haven't seen traders return to this market en masse yet. The wait continues...

Thanx ! B for Eth and C+ for BTC !? ok, whatever. paid fud^ ... umm C++ ? :-D haha " Bitcoin (rated C+) gets excellent scores for security and widespread adoption. But it is encountering major network bottlenecks, causing delays and high transactions costs. Despite intense ongoing efforts that are achieving some initial success, Bitcoin has no immediate mechanism for promptly upgrading its software code." Bold text is enough for me. Even if we don't need no rating agency to tell us that since Bitcoin is like that by DESIGN!

The fact that they purport of be able to rate blockchains is utterly ridiculous. What do they know about blockchains?? Agreed. This is the reason I would not be surprised to see Ripple highly rated. The true value of crypto is EXTREMELY counter-intuitive to the status quo. For example the more decentralized one is the more we hear the Dimon types making "No government controls it!! No one knows who is controlling it!!" type statements. I hope to be pleasantly surprised by a set of knowledgeable reports... but I doubt it HIGHLY. And I feel that even though we might take all this with a grain of salt the establishment will not.

How do you think they did it? checked activity on the site... they track changes and such. saw a bunch of log ins from the same IP lining up with my activity, then around thanksgiving a single login and payout address change from a different one. probably guessed my password or found my data in some hacker list and tried the few (dumb me) different ones i used to use. really need to set up a last pass or something... oh well. only ten bucks, right? until the price changes... argh.

Just going through all the shitfork coins to see if I can increase my BTC stash. Looks like the majority of them can't be exchanged on any exchanges due to various reasons (non functioning wallets etc). Does anyone have a list of which coins are actively trading and can be deposited at which exchange? Would be much appreciated.
Yes please that’d be great. I don’t have an android phone so I haven’t been able to claim my bitcoin gold still through the Coinimi wallet. You can get a brand new android phone from China on ebay for 40 bucks and free shipping, I just bought one to keep my free coins in. Will start to claim after Bitcoin Atom's snapshot on 25/26 this month. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ultrathin-5Android-5-1-Quad-Core-2G-8G-4G-GSM-Bluetooth-WiFi-Dual-Smart-phone/222764422358?hash=item33ddcb54d6:m:mpEJ82Tk8SCS3joqufkdiXgI have to suggest that it is not a good idea to use a china no-brand android phone for anything crypto related. Most of those phones have customized firmware that is not subjected to as strong scrutinity as well-known brands/models.
