Seriously?  Coinbase 11,484 and Bearfinex is 11900. LOL

USDT are trading down about 2.25% right now.

The price holding steady and in fact increasing over the weekend confirms manipulation.

seems sketchy as the only article I can find...do they mean just live on 'mainnet' to test

or is it really ready for prime time?

It's not ready for prime time. Use at own risk.

Hehe how do you figure? Channels still limited to 0.042 btc. However, it's a happy coincidence with the low transaction fees on the main chain making new channel creation fairly cheap.

Hm... one moment. Happy coincidence? There are no coincidences! (Looking warily over shoulder)
... and most aren't happy anyway. Wish a real conspiracy expert would chime in now.

Do they have a 'timeline' or are they being the usual 'bitcoin core' coy ...about if/when/ever anything they do is 'ready' Smiley

Yes it’s live in main net. No, it’s not really ready.

Open source software is dangerous.  There is no central authority to hold your hand.

I believe the developers of Lightning Network are somewhat annoyed that their product is now being actively tested with real Bitcoins. Slightly modified versions, of course, that allow for it to be on mainnet rather than testnet.

yeah, the joys of having enough BTC to matter.  Half the time I walk around smug like I really pulled something off...the other half I'm in panic mode and waving arms

like a 12-year-old child, having a panic attack....crypto always drama, drama, drama

ah, the joys of being in HODL mode Smiley

Torque, Bitcoin does not give a shit what is good or bad for him. In the past the price has reduced by 90% and look where we are now. The only thing we can do is pave their way for exponential growth and adoption. Artificially restricting its growth causes a direct benefit for the altcoins.

Oh sorry, didn't realize that I had my foot on the Bitcoin brake. I guess I'll take my foot off now...  Roll Eyes  Tongue

Hmmm let’s watch the Kraken USD USDT pair closely.  This may explain BFX rally.

Edit:   Link to article here:  https://www.coindesk.com/tether-confirms-relationship-auditor-dissolved/amp/?__twitter_impression=true

It is fairly obvious that if Bitfinex fired the auditor, they would have said so.  Accordingly we have to assume the auditor has quit. Which probably means Tether has gone bad.  Hang onto your pants boys and girls - this could get a little volatile.
