Bitcoin has to be more usable, integrated and seamless basically.   End of the beginning is the phrase I agree with.   You will know the mainstream is in on this market when its just part of a wider menu they are actually using bitcoin underneath whatever product is handling them as customers.    All the hype is nonsense, an over focus, the irony would be success coming with the opposite and BTC just being part of a plethora of genuine new era technical advancement.
Just like I have very little idea how my remote control works for the TV, I just know it changes the channel with very little effort.   Sorry if there is genius going on underneath my entertainment and lounging on the sofa eating food watching junk TV but thats the mainstream they dont care about your product innovations, its just about you serving them.

I dont see it as a consumer brand name, unfortunately there is no copyright on the name as BCH has demonstrated.   I see BTC as something that'd be on an enabled feature list, like HD or 4k on a TV and people will have to demand that technology be included correctly (not some poor copy) .

I think 7481 is a price point between the recent daily high and low that will show confidence to continue or if the market requires more confirmation.

PSA: steer clear of Quadrigacx. They've lost their payment processor. There are people with 6 figure bank wires sitting unprocessed since January.

The fact that Vitalik called out Craig Wright makes me want to buy my first ethereums with the bcash I still have left.

If you recall, Vitalik is repeating an earlier theme of his.. from May 2016 I believe.  Remember when Wright was claiming to be Satoshi, and Vitalik was one of the earliest of crypto persons to describe a fairly straight-forward process in which Wright could sign a transaction, and the fact that Wright was choosing a more convoluted method of proof had demonstrated, for Vitalik, that Wright was engaging in purposeful deception rather than really being Satoshi.  I think Vitalik said it at the conference in which the announcement had been made on the same day and Gavin Andressen had been attempting to validate Wright as Satoshi.

I think this is a clip of Vitalik making that statement at that conference.

This reddit post is a nice write up of it.

...then Vitalik just started taking, and said he'd give his reasoning on why he thinks Craig isn't Satoshi.

He said, Craig has 2 ways to prove himself. The first, and easiest/simplest, being to just sign a unique message and post it publicly so everyone can verify it. The second would be to post some long blog post (that was arguably more complicated to understand than actually verifying some signed text) and only ask a select few to choose a message, show the signature to, and ask to verify. Vitalik then says that this fails basic signaling theory, and thus Craig is not Satoshi. Gavin twerked his head and nodded as if to say, "I see you point. Meh."

The panel session ended right there. The crowd laughed. I laughed. Vitalik laughed. The moderator laughed. The crowd laughed some more. Gavin seemed uncomfortable.

What would be of crypto without all its nonsense drama?

They probably don't realize it or care, but it's people like Roger, CSW, and Mcafee that are hindering mass adoption. They are putting the face of crazy on Bitcoin and crypto. Average Joes don't want to be associated with such nonsense.

I kind of agree with the point, but here is a counterpoint: Elon Musk (an absolute WS and MSM hero in the last few years) sometimes does say a nonsensical thing or two, but his latest joke was roundly criticized. Why? Because CEO of a company which stock declined 30% and debt was downgraded and is trading at 90c/$ should not make these kind of jokes.
Conclusion: when your stock is hot, everyone ignores a misstep or two, but when it is declining fairly rapidly, you should be a bit more CRAEFUL with what you say, I guess.

TL;DR this is not about bch, Roger or CSW, but rather about nonsensical statements and mass adoption/perception.

I am kind of wondering what Gemini's goal is?

I am thinking that maybe, just maybe ... bear with me here for a moment ... maybe ... profit maximization?

Who says those arbitrary lines form the correct channel? I doubt so because it reaches infinitely high numbers too fast. What if THESE purple lines are actually the correct channel?

I've seen gazillion of price predictions. Even without looking at those graphs, if you only look at the technology itself Bitcoin got 1 destination.

Your channel deviates too much from the adoption S-curve.
