Stop bitching guys - it is what it is, miners are being sold, income is going down - no way around that.

I am asking what is the most profitable thing to do with them now, as in - what is the way to get most BTC, not $.

I absolutely knew this would happen with the amount of hype, and batches being sold in 15 minutes, it's absolute shit,
these miners will sell for pennies on the dollar in a few months, especially with new gen miners being released in spring.

It's 2013 all over again.
Sigh.

Why mine of you pay 290$ per miner electricity Huh  Huh Huh
Maybe that's just your electrical price. Electrical rates vary by location and you make much more in profit than electricity which pretty much negates the electrical costs. The L3+ is pretty profitable, at least for now until difficulty rises to the point where it won't.

My electricity price is far from 290$ I would not be mining at that price. 290$ is what I would pay for powering 5 L3's !

I said, its not the fucking AMERICAN DOLLARS... did you people actually reads and understand?

for example there is FIJIAN DOLLARS, Jamacian DOLLARS..

Whatever bro, just stop whining about it then !! you sound like a kid in kindergarten.

Idk wtf is going on and why this is being politicized.

I think that is beyond stupid, just seek mining help and move on. This is not a forum to discuss your ideology and create incessant chatter, that isnt constructive at all.

So for all you responding to the guy, just stop. These kids troll and you are just fueling their fire.

On the miner status page... what are HW? I have 0/0/0 and 56 on one board. Are these errors? It is running stock and not overclocked. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You're fine Bud. It's normal. As long as your ASIC Status is 0000000 0000000 000000000 00000000. You're all good. No worries.

can Anyone suggest a stable and profitable scrypt pool for L3+ at the european area.

Nice hash (EU) is mostly dead, Prohashing is very usable but still not profitable

Especially , I need a real multiport pool with profitability switch which is working stable.

Do you know that Bitmain has delivered more than 40 Terahash mining speed of L3+  miners since June 18 but where is that gone

Some to litecoin network but major to BITCONNECT network and do you know that bitconnect network is now more that litecoin sometimes it goes even upto 27 ths

Now there is more good news Hextra coin which is called a clone of bitconnect is also on scrypt and if that also follows the footprint of Bitconnect than more scrypt hash power will be distributed.

But there is another scenario if bitconnect fails as most people are saying that it's a scam than imagine the load on Litecoin network

I use www.litecoinpool.org/calc as my 'low' baseline on what my miners are making. I do get say 10-15% more on prohashing. But as a
rule of thumb and watching the trend of difficulty go up and profits go down it serves its purpose.

As of today, 10/08/17 at 1:38am CST USA...I have the following

At 12c kWh prices for electric and a price currently of $52.69, (https://www.worldcoinindex.com/),  at this moment, I get the following profits.

KNC Titan $4.62 per day.

Below $4.61 per day in LTC profits. Below is for a 300mh KNC Titan (4 cube) at 1,250 watts.

                        Expected Rewards          Electric      Profit
24 hours   0.15583008 LTC   8.21 USD   3.60 USD   4.61 USD
7 days   1.09081055 LTC   57.47 USD   25.20 USD   32.27 USD
30 days   4.67490234 LTC   246.32 USD   108.00 USD   138.32 USD

Bitmain L3 is $5.69 per day.

Below $5.69 per day in LTC profits. Below is for a Bitmain L3 250mh at 400 watts.

                        Expected Rewards          Electric      Profit
24 hours   0.12985840 LTC   6.84 USD   1.15 USD   5.69 USD
7 days   0.90900879 LTC   47.90 USD   8.06 USD   39.83 USD
30 days   3.89575195 LTC   205.27 USD   34.56 USD   170.71 USD

Bitmain L3+ is $11.38 per day.

Below $11.38 per day in LTC profits. Below is for a Bitmain L3+ 500mh at 800 watts.

                        Expected Rewards          Electric      Profit
24 hours   0.25971680 LTC   13.68 USD   2.30 USD   11.38 USD
7 days   1.81801758 LTC   95.79 USD   16.13 USD   79.66 USD
30 days   7.79150391 LTC   410.53 USD   69.12 USD   341.41 USD

Again consolidated below, AGAIN, this date/time/etc (See beginning of this post)

KNC Titan $4.62 per day.

Bitmain L3 is $5.69 per day.

Bitmain L3+ is $11.38 per day.

So to recap...without some MAJOR price moves on LTC or scrypt pow (again the calcs used here are LTC only ..you will make more on multipool like prohashing)
we are gonna get messed up bad on this looming difficulty wave yet..and plow the surfboard into the beach.

So, will the price rise on pow-scrypt to compensate for difficulty or will our scrypt-pow miners of any flavor be doorstops below such a difficulty plateau
just out of reach for us to continue to run them say by Jan or Feb?

I hate my return to 2013 and 'newbie hopes' of the price rising to justify equipment..it is sooooooooo a fall back into those bad habits..but at this point
thems the breaks..price pump or equipment dump to doorstops on the horizon.

Again, note that the litecoinpool calculator is simply being used as the 'low' on what we can get. You will get more on multi-pools like prohashing.
But the above shows the 'bottom' on price per day imho.

Also, as far as I can tell there are still at least FOUR major dumps of Bitmain L3+ equipment and ONE major dump of the bw.com equipment that also dumps
in middle of November. So I would expect that at the present sideways price spread of LTC you would be looking at 1/2 of the profits I post here by say Dec 2017,
when all the pow-scrypt equip clears. More if Bitmain shoots even more out like toasters.

Thus my posting of the above this time/this date/etc....

We will be the first to know I guess.....(shudder)

Well first of good post lol   Its rare to get some rational thinking in this thread Cheesy

I see it the same way, but then again a little less worrying.   The Titans are old and that they still produce anything at 12c is mindblowing. The L3 and L3+ will be still profitable when halved.

Now calculating in that as a business you can deduct your running costs from profits and the sale price of equipment, once the electricity is more than your income, eases it a little bit.

The Titans will soon be gone giving a tiny bit of air to the network and once most 20c+ Miners face the reality they will sell the units to those who are able to run them on 3-6c/kwh

It's pretty much a wash. I cant make a real loss when I can deduct my costs and with the prices for old equipment, I don't worry at all.

I just saw a A4 getting bids of 1600€+ on ebay Cheesy

Just received an L3+ ... buddy of mine received 15 of them...
While mine runs decently, some of his eventually get x's in the chip list as they run... is this a widespread problem?

Im entertaining ideas for firmware enhancement =)

I have a few L3+, one of them went into the XXX.. mode once, a power-down and cool-out for 30mins and following restart fixed it so far.
What I noticed is that the HW version seems to matter. I have one with 1.0.1.2 which yet has to make a single HW error after weeks. The other ones with 1.0.1.1 produce regular HW errors, though hashrate seems to be similar over all in the long run.

In my experience the difference (whatever it is) between 1.0.1.1 and 1.0.1.2 seems to matter.

However, 1.0.1.3 is better of producing HW errors and XXX, but it seems that it will auto-restart 2x a day.

good that it worked out fine for u. Where i'm, the nearest server is HK  and the result is not better than zpool.ca
The core reason is that Nicehash is not a pool per say, its a service.

- demand/supply drives the price. the payment amount is direct driven by the buy price of the order your filling.
- only valid share calculated to your profitability.
- downtime on your miner means u get lesser shares submission  aka penalty
- direct deposit of earning to your local NH wallet
- you'll know in minutes how much money you'll make a day
