Whats your hashrate? This looks like a single usb block erupter. Curious where you get better rewards?

Actually, 47 shares in 7.5 minutes seems way to low for a 2.5 GH/s miner. Ah, wait, your difficulty is set higher than 1, is it? Later shares get higher scores, did you possibly have a little downtime near the end of that 4:20 round?

You're paid for your hashing power.

Maybe. I lost my biggest miner at that time. So I do not understand how to estimate my rewards as statistics shows huge shares with little payout.

1. That's right. Just one 7870 at home PC 2. Thank's for info. BTW, just messed out with all that different pools statistics and payout algos

To explain the slush algo in short: You earn score with the shares you submit, and the later in the round it is, the higher the score. This is to prevent pool hopping, that is to encourage you to stay with the pool even if a round takes quite long.
This leads to a possible scenario, where you submitted many many shares, but still get low reward, cause you have not been there at the end of the round. This should average out quite fast if you mine constantly.

Hello all.
Anyone able to say what 1600 MHash will net in 24 hours these days?
I went from over .1 BTC to around .025 in just a couple weeks, and that just seems really wrong.
I've been told by a couple members this drop in BTC production is probably because of the ASIC machines integration with the pool, but that doesn't make sense to me. In other words, if the extra GHashes find more blocks, faster, than the comparatively lower Ghash of any GPU miners producing, so what? Wouldn't the Ghash from the GPU, although being spread out over more blocks, produce the same net payout over more, but faster blocks, due to the help of the ASIC machines?
If what I was experiencing was just a hiccup, I'd love to fire up the cards again, and of course always on the look out for a new ASIC machine.

check http://www.coinish.com/calc/#1200Mh/sec gives you about 0.03Btc per day, its the difficulty that has risen. next rise you go to about 0.029

0.038/day for 1600 MHash/s would be your income interpolated from my earnings. You are correct, just plugging ASICs into the pool right now would not change your income at once. But every two weeks approx the difficulty is adjusted to keep the total network at one block per ten minutes. Additional hashing power causes the block frequency to rise -> difficulty rises -> same hashing power finds less blocks -> block frequency drops back to one per ten minutes.
As long as you do not increase your own hashing power in the same rate the total network hashing power rises, your earnings will drop with every difficulty increment.

If he was talking about his reward per block, then: yes. But since he is talking about his reward per time: no.

Just check the TOP 50 miner and not a surprise that one user has more than 2 TH/s of brute force hashing powers.... meh

Wow! I wish I had your 1600MH/s. Mine averages between 1600-1700MH/s and I hardly ever see mine go over .040/day. This week makes a full month for me mining so your .1 might of been before the last few difficulty changes. Using Slush's charts page I average .036-.042/ day. With the really lucky day we had a day or two ago I got .053.

I'm curious, can anyone help interpret the following?: [minepeon@minepeon ~]$ systemctl status cgminer.service cgminer.service - cgminer Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/cgminer.service; enabled) Active: active (running) since Tue 2013-06-25 15:11:42 BST; 5s ago Process: 2582 ExecStop=/usr/bin/screen -S cgminer -X quit (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE) Process: 2584 ExecStart=/usr/bin/screen -dmS cgminer /opt/minepeon/bin/cgminer --api-listen --api-allow W:127.0.0.1 --sharelog /opt/minepeon/log/share.log -c /opt/minepeon/etc/miner.conf (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS) Main PID: 2585 (screen) CGroup: name=systemd:/system/cgminer.service ├─2585 /usr/bin/SCREEN -dmS cgminer /opt/minepeon/bin/cgminer --ap... └─2586 /opt/minepeon/bin/cgminer --api-listen --api-allow W:127.0....
Is the failure just a normal part (perhaps some rejected work or the like)? Overall, things seem humming along with my erupter, until my Jalapeno arrives. IAS

BTC = Black Swan. BTC = Antifragile - "Some things benefit from shocks; they thrive and grow when exposed to volatility, randomness, disorder, and stressors and love adventure, risk, and uncertainty. Robust is not the opposite of fragile.

If he was talking about his reward per block, then: yes. But since he is talking about his reward per time: no. since he is talking about 1600mh/s he wasn't making .1 a day for 1+ months so he is in error as Average hashrate in last 10 rounds: 3640 Mhash/s does .1 a day.... so since he is in error he is talking about his reward in the last weeks going from .05ish to .025 so yeah that was directly caused by "the drop is from mining with 12th/s to now mining with 19th/s" oh and that diff increase of course. mostly that of course. yeah mostly that.
