There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

We have been having a lot of problems with the servers over the past few days... If this is the new norm, I'm gonna have to point my miners elsewhere permanently   Cry

I think slush gotta add another server or two to keep up with 23+ Thash for the pool and increasing competition on the network.

This may very well be the issue... We're pushing up 24TH/s, and it happened fairly quickly.

Not sure - blockchain.info shows those blocks as being valid and relayed by Slush?

What's that?
Three invalid blocks in a row?

19247, 19248 and 19249

On the first one only a few validation were missing ....

Weird indeed. Wanted to look up but blockchain.info is down.
Does anyone have info about what was happening?

   T

It shows ok on blockchain. I really hope it's possible to fix :S

Yes, I have also confirmed it via blockexplorer during the outage of blockchain.info.
Everything is back to normal by now on the stats page as well.

Interestingly, I'm still missing the reward for the invalid blocks :S

The invalid entries on the stat page disappeared though

Rewards are OK (after some waiting until they are fixed), but estimated reward is definitely wrong, all day today.

Hmm. Now it shows that my last share was 10 hours ago, which is impossible, because I have correct reward on last 10 rounds.... But estimated reward is zero.

We have been having a lot of problems with the servers over the past few days... If this is the new norm, I'm gonna have to point my miners elsewhere permanently   Cry

I was having trouble connecting until I used the old getwork url and let cgminger/guiminer handle the redirect to the stratum server.

you could save yourself time trying to find tricks to get to a different IP by making it your choice which IP to connect too, there are only 3 allowed right now. It isnt rocket science, if you can type stratum.bitcoin.cz you can type 54.225.117.74 or 54.215.3.101 or 95.211.52.40. It is easy to lead a horse to water pointing this out but u cant make the person understand the simple concept of it.

Hmm... Avalon shows in log that connection refused, on this stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 and this api.bitcoin.cz:8332.

Which of those three IPs is working now?

There is no way to know.*

*(there may be a way to know that i don't know about Tongue )

On a separate note, having multiple rounds each more than 20 minutes apart still displaying "processing..." greatly displeases me. not that it matters at all whether i am pleased, lol.
