This day is full of unusual events. Status of last 3 rounds is still "processing". Usually this state lasts only for about 10 minutes.

19260    2013-07-23 22:02:41    0:43:37    Processing...    248132    25.01926064    99 confirmations left
19259    2013-07-23 21:19:04    0:37:33    Processing...    248129    25.47314137    96 confirmations left
19258    2013-07-23 20:41:31    5:04:01    Processing...    248128    25.17930000    95 confirmations left

Mining seems to be running fine, the reward calculation seems to be paused - maybe some upgrade/change in the pool infrastructure is processed?

Well, I have connection refused on all three IPs and cannot submit shares.

EDIT: my apologies, it was a network interface problem in avalon. It only had LAN working, but no routing outside. I wonder why it suddenly stopped working after two weeks. But clicking "reconnect" in avalon menu did the trick Smiley

On a separate note, having multiple rounds each more than 20 minutes apart still displaying "processing..." greatly displeases me. not that it matters at all whether i am pleased, lol.

You must be even more displeased now that it's four rounds!!

We have been having a lot of problems with the servers over the past few days... If this is the new norm, I'm gonna have to point my miners elsewhere permanently   Cry

I was having trouble connecting until I used the old getwork url and let cgminger/guiminer handle the redirect to the stratum server.

Grin ---> http://api.bitcoin.cz:8332

HT xD

you could save yourself time trying to find tricks to get to a different IP by making it your choice which IP to connect too, there are only 3 allowed right now. It isnt rocket science, if you can type stratum.bitcoin.cz you can type 54.225.117.74 or 54.215.3.101 or 95.211.52.40. It is easy to lead a horse to water pointing this out but u cant make the person understand the simple concept of it.
Name:    stratum.bitcoin.cz
Addresses:  54.225.117.74
          54.215.3.101
          95.211.52.40

What trick ? lol It connected during the first try. Tongue

- start Guiminer
- create new Opencl miner with Slush's
- save settings
- press start

And this was before I saw those IP addys posted.

Don't worry about the horse, it will likely find the water before you do.

HT xD

How long will these addresses be good for?

they are the 3 he picked to use after moving to the new place.
There is no concern as to their length of validity.
If u r failing to connect either slush for absolutely no reason at all went thru the toruble to move off them which would make no sense but in the world of scary monsters makes tons of sense, OR they arewnt working like is happening the last few days, u move to another... and if none work
a simple nslookup stratum.bitcoin.cz will tell you if something happened which is doubtful.

The point on the graph for 7/23 is way to low.

We had a better day that.

you are right! I just checked we had 17 blocks found on 7/23 which would be at minimum 425 (more with the fees added in) yet slush graph says 294... it probably didn't account for all those "processing..." blocks that had that problem earlier...

I wonder if those blocks that were slow to process will be added on to 7/24 average or if they will just be dropped from the graphs entirely....

I wonder if luck% was also bugged cause after those blocks processed luck fell from 172% to 99% or something...

I think that's a bug on marki-online. Look, the glitch happens exactly when daily avg. hits a 325 TH limit on the plot. Also compare with:
