I've seen our luck as high a 170%, so i guess 26% is within the realm of possibility. It sure doesn't feel right though. If the luck goes negative, do we have to give Bitcoins back? Roll Eyes

as it is, we're like about 6.6% of the whole pie. Must the Gods deny us even that?

We are paying for our sins now. Whatever those were...  LOL Smiley

Looks like we lost a bit of hashrate over the last 2 hrs. People bailing on us. My estimated payout is rising but I would still like the help of more miners to find the blocks.  Cry

Again : at the bright side, everbody has plenty of time to reboot computers or asics now, to do hard or software upgrades, to install that important patch, to do any over due maintenance.

Do it today.

OUR LUCK WILL CHANGE !!  Wink

Funny you mention it. I have done all my maintenance and reboots today. Even tweeking some software. Still have some wires that would benefit from some solder. Guess I will get on that now. Smiley

an aside, when did maths become acceptible? math is short for mathematics which is a plural. Maths would be a plural plural.  Huh

"Maths" is short for "mathematics". "Math" is short for "mathematic", or possibly "aftermath". Grin

It is a stramge new world, this internet, where conventions get changed at the drop of a hat. It must be the international aspect, where what we've learned becomes myopic. Cheesy

Nah, don't feel too bad about it. It's just that you've learned American English, and they do weird things with the language. Like "tho" and "math" and "flickr".

yeah, and i learned it in the '60s. The one i hate is "I seen", I've actually had people tell me the "have" is implied. It just sounds illiterate to me.

How about "I would of been" instead of "I would have been"?  Definitely fingernails on a chalkboard.

Wouldn't it increase bitcoin's trade value with increased difficulty to mine?

Wouldn't it increase bitcoin's trade value with increased difficulty to mine?

The way the difficulty adjusts, it can't really effect the price in and of it self. Now people trying to sell the coin they earn will effect price, but downward.

i don't post much, but this space for rent.

-snip-  Now people trying to sell the coin they earn will effect price, but downward.

If all the miners would sell all their generated coins daily then it couldn't affect the price considering the volume traded.

Miners don't have an effect on price at this point.

So, if killing a virgin cat actually helped you get more bitcoins. How many bitcoins would make it worth it to kill a virgin cat?

Anyone else getting many unexpected queue result errors after approx 1/2 hour of mining?  It's been constant these past few days. Sad  Trying to determine if it's software or server issue.  Due to new version of pool being implemented?
