There is definitely interest from miners to get back on the exchange
I sent messages to several pool admins
A couple of the pools mentioned they are still merge mining devcoin but they do not market or mention devcoin on their site because there isn't any big exchange available
This is yet another reason devcoin is such a stable coin for several years and the exchanges will see that

I think we can avoid changing the source and just update the receiver files to make all of those wallets already downloaded start to sync again

yes!  that helped sync a wallet that was stuck on receiver_69.csv
it was downloaded from devcoin.org last week and didn't sync

now on to the next problem that keeps receiver_28.csv from downloading

It might only be bad peers in the receiver_27.csv
Maybe we should update all of the receiver files with only known-good peers to avoid new wallets getting stuck

because Shattienator, who made http://devcoinblockexplorer.info/ a long time ago, is no longer uploading receiver files. Also, it looks like the domain is abandoned. This will bring the peers down to 3 to start, which is good because it should be an odd number.

The reference receiver file is Markm's copy at:

if there is ever a difference from that, the custodian should copy the corresponding file from http://galaxies.mygamesonline.org.

Sidhujag has remained in the Source Administrator position until such time as a replacement can be found. Anyone interested please let me know.

we can also use an update to the devtome host's receiver files since those are stale

That would be jasinlee, who is tricky to contact. Let me know if that is required. The other host receiver file Admins
are Emfox, Raptorak (Ranlo), K1773R, MarkM and fheenix/notabot.

Perhaps one of them can make such changes.

I'm glad my replacement helped. Do you need me to also replace/upload receiver 27? If so, what would be the replacement file? I probably don't even have 27 on my Github account. I used to host these files on my own site, but that site is no longer active.
