i'm diabetic myself so this is quite interesting. so this basically checks the level of acetone in your breath and gauges your blood sugar levels from that? but what about diabetics who are on a ketogenic diet and would presumably have near-constant "keto-breath" with high levels of acetone? would it basically be unusable for them?

Hello. Your question is very relevant and appropriate. The diagnosis of high glucose levels using the Health Monitor device is really based on the detection of high concentrations of acetone in the exhaled air. The products that is part of ketogenic diet lead to acetonemia and obviously this volatile substance will be released during respiration. Acetone will be register by the device. But in the case of ketogenic diets there is one nuance: a person already knows that he has diabetes and that there will be high concentrations of acetone in the exhaled air. We primarily focus on those people whose diabetes is just beginning and who do not yet know about their condition. The main task which the device is designed to solve - early diagnosis. Therefore, if the Health Monitor reveals high levels of acetone in the breath against a background of complete well-being we recommend that you contact the doctor to clarify the diagnosis. People with an already established diagnosis can also use it if sugar-reducing drugs are used to correct the sugar level (ketone diet is not suitable for everyone). P.S. Since the ketone diet is used for the treatment of other diseases, for example epilepsy, your question is very useful and will help us develop more detailed recommendations on the use of the device. |

Hello, and sorry for small communication in the last days. Most of the team was in Malta and those conferences really require full efforts. (yesterday we were quite tired, I admin  ). I'll explain more in the coming days, but: a) we have introduced our project to more than 300 people, including local politicians, investors, experts b) more than 50 people tested our prototypes and I admit that our stand was one of the most visited (Despite there were EXMO and other quite relevant projects) c) people want to know more (and this is something we are thinking about) d) Interest in altcoins is still high, simply people are more demanding before investing (and I think this is quite understandable) That said, this is the first step of a much longer path: in the next coming days, we will have private talks with investors in Europe and we are planning to build further prototypes to help to spread our concept.
