Nobody cares what you do or don't believe, because you are too stupid to do a simple fact check before accusing others of lying.

Quote
Big News! HashFast Signs Exclusive Deal with CIARA Technologies

And now that we’ve signed the deal, they’ll exclusively produce mining rigs for HashFast.

probably I just don't understand it, but what is the benefit for me, as their customer, of all this exclusivity which is established two days before or even after the due delivery date, while one of the essential and show-stopper ingredients is still in limbo? Somebody suddenly woke up and realized he forgot to do things, which he should have done months before? Or is it pure boredom because there is just nothing else to do? Or is it just distraction, smoke and mirrors?

I'm a business man, and, to be honest, each and every of these announcements feels like a kick in the groin to me, because I know that such basics have to be done at the beginning of a project, not at the projected end.
Come on, announcing the assembler of the product one week before the finished product ought to be shipped? PSUs 2 day before? Exclusive deal with the assembler on the last day of the promised delivery start window? Ridiculous, I would be ashamed to have to announce such.

How high would the odds be, that another ASIC manufacturer knocks at Ciara's doors and asks for an assembly line for their miners? And even, what would change if he'd get one?

So please, get your things together, focus on the important stuff and finish and ship the product! And don't dare to announce an exclusive deal with a PCB manufacturer next week.

Welcome to another ASCI miner company that failed to deliver their promised date and dont be surprise that they will most likely mine with your hardware that you purchased months ago to fight against lawsuits.

Bitcoinica still has not given me 50% of my claim of 600 BTC

But for what hashrates?

I will bet you 2:1 that the difficulty will be less then you stated in the following url:

Code:

Tough bet to make considering next year hash rate will likely closely track BTC price.  What happens if BTC is at $1kUSD each and rising.  Difficulty will likely overshoot cost based target estimates anyways because of delivery delays and because prospective miners see a rising exchange rate and extrapolate that into their purchasing decisions.

I don't believe that.  How is it that you got Ciara to tie their own hands and agree not to do business with any other manufacturer of crypto hardware (I'm assuming that's what you mean by "competition")?  I call bullshit.  If your agreement really were exclusive, there would be a statement by Ciara to that effect.  I can find no such statement, and of course there was no official joint press-release.

You have no intelligence to insult.

You are so full of shit I'm surprised nobody has buried you by now.

Nobody cares what you do or don't believe, because you are too stupid to do a simple fact check before accusing others of lying.

Was typing 'CIARA HASHFAST EXCLUSIVE' into Google too difficult, IE an insurmountable challenge for your retarded abilities?

Next time RTFT and get a clue before pulling the Internet Tough Guy act, so you don't get your ignorant whining face torn off again.   Kiss

Read again. He said "no official joint press-release". I think he meant that he was expecting a press-release from Ciara, not from HF's lousy PR.

So.. TacoTime..

I have a few questions..

1)Are they still on track to ship in mid-november? (shipping in 2 weeks™)
What does their timeline look like?

2)How soon after they ship batch 1 will they start shipping batch 2?
It seems like while the preorders from batch 1 are the people who funded and supported you, yet batch 2 will be getting the better end of the deal.
Why have you forsaken us (batch 1 customers)?

3)When I purchased my miner (August 8th), there was nothing on the TOS about the Miners being shipped by the December 31st (which was added on August 15th).  The only date they had anywhere was a big SHIPPING STARTS OCTOBER 20th to OCTOBER 30th on their site.
Do I get any compensation for being lied to?
Can I request a refund?
Do I have to make a complaint to the FTC and seek some sort of legal action?

So you really believe the network will be 14 PH in Dec, 30 PH in Jan, 80 PH in Feb, and 160 PH in Mar?

Just to pick this up again. History showed that the sentiment re difficulty predictions were mostly too pessimistic ("Oh noez, all those Avalon chips will kill mining!") and even your probably very accurate estimates of ASIC pre-orders (old picture) was too high.

But I still do believe that the current trend goes on and we probably even didn't reach the maximal point of acceleration.

 - BTC is trending further and still very, very far away from being "mainstream".
 - Rising BTC/fiat rates counter electricity costs.
 - The current mining hardware situation is way better than last year (BitFury and KnC delievered, HF is a legit company etc.), but one of the first questions after a new company steps in is still: "Is this scam? Are they able to deliver on time?"

I furthermore believe that Bitcoin/Bitcoin mining will yield breakthroughs and innovations in related areas as by-product, for example more efficient cooling solutions.

And at last: the effects of a fictive, critical "end game" scenario of "every miner on earth is unprofitable" are delayed and reaching this point will probably not "end unprofitable mining".

Edit:

3)When I purchased my miner (August 8th), there was nothing on the TOS about the Miners being shipped by the December 31st (which was added on August 15th). (...)

Update from hashfast;
  • (...)
  • The case for refunds for customers who purchased miners before August 15th is being reviewed.

The company rep said that she forwarded this complaint to the higher ups after I told them that this was unfair and that you guys should be allowed refunds.  I'll let you know more about it as soon as I do.

Although it was a bad call in retrospect, I considered buying BTC instead of making a Batch 1 order, back at then end of August.  I would have made quite a bit of money by now.

Do any of you trade in stocks?   It is completely different if you bought BTC instead in August since you probably would of sold them in Sept on a small increase, then sat on the sidelines saying ...'I should not of sold my bitcoins so early, I would have made quite a bit of money by now'

It's a lot easier when someone else holds your money hostage and then comment on what you 'would have done' which of course would be to perfectly play the market

Some one needs to sticky this quote so everyone can link back to it each time someone whines about "what I would have done."

To those that keep whining about it, everyone knows that what you "would have done" is exactly what you did, but you keep whining about how you would have done things differently if only you had known.

Guess what? We would all be multi-billionaires if we had the perfect insight you think you had. The fact that you are whining about what you would have done vs being rich proves it to be untrue. If only I had known bitcoin would be $200!

You dirty cockroach, stop being an are and kill yourself, do the world a favour! You fucking scum bag josh!

Cheesy  It's funny because you thought you were being a mighty White Knight of Pure Truth & Justice, calling out the villainous lies of evil-doers, but made a complete fool of yourself instead.

You're an idiot.  No matter how you try to spin it, the fact remains that

1) the pictures posted (with the word "prototype") in their name, are not production pictures.  The proverbial "box of fans" as Mr. Crumbs so elequently put it; a lie indeed.  And,
2) Ciara has yet to state publicly that they have any kind of exclusive agreement with Hashfast.  Just because Hashfast says it, does not make it so.

Now sit down and stfu.  Grown folks are talking.
