Hello again samlitecoin! You can only fund your Kraken account from a bank account under your name, using either Wire or SEPA. Third party payment processors and credit cards are not supported.

can this be an account in my name and in the eurozone but in a different country? meaning: can I use 2 different accounts that are in 2 different countries for deposit and withdrawal? thanx again -sam

Kraken Support,
I am having an issue where my wire transfer is stating it is on hold. I do not know why (possibly my Kraken account using my full middle name and my bank only uses the middle initial? The name is otherwise identical), but it is causing me to get very nervous as I am withdrawing this money to buy a house next week with cash. If I do not have the deal closed on time due to my money being stuck on Kraken I will loose a very substantial good faith deposit, as well as my dream home.
I already submitted support tickets and the escalation form from this page. Ticket numbers are: 1690319 (withdrawal on hold), and 1689958 (Tier 4 verification and I included proof of being an accredited investor on the email form I replied to).
I just want to make sure this is addressed as soon as possible because I am on a tight timeline, and my withdrawal limits are also restricting how quickly I can get enough out (hence the tier 4 request).

It's good to see that the Kraken representatives are ramping up their game here and they are very active in the past few weeks. I must say that those times where no one answers any question here are long gone and we are entering a new era where support tickets are always answered and resolved within few hours. I would like to take this opportunity and ask some questions that I have in mind. - Do you accept Credit Card payments for me to buy BTC or LTC from your platform?
- What are the requirements for me to do that? Do I still need to undergo KYC process?

Hi bitcoinvest. The withdrawal limits are based on the past 30 rolling days, meaning that in this example you would be able to withdraw $2000.00 on May 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd, bringing you to a total of $10,000 withdrawn again, 30 days after these withdrawals. If you would like higher limits I would suggest getting Tier 3 or Tier 4 verified. Please let us know if you need anything else!

Hi Haladay. We currently have a team devoted to cultivating new bank partnerships and expect to start seeing the fruits of this effort soon with new bank funding options coming online. For our clients residing outside Japan who have been using our bank partner in Japan, we expect to announce a replacement option for you soon. In the meantime, if you have a bank account in the SEPA zone, you can fund your account with a EUR SEPA transfer by navigating to Funding > Deposit > Euro (EUR) and choosing "Fidor Bank AG (SEPA)" from the dropdown menu. If you do not have a bank account in the SEPA zone you can send EUR by navigating to Funding > Deposit > Euro (EUR) and choosing "Fidor Bank AG (Wire Transfer) from the dropdown menu. Please note that you can only deposit with this funding method.
