Yeah, site has become pretty unusable to me. Shame, because it's the only exchange I've had any success with and Coinbase was an absolute nightmare and I really don't even want to attempt to sell there again.

New Kraken user. Help needed! Besides continuosly getting the 520 error, before confirming ETH to EUR order I get the Order Details with the following:

Estimated ETH to spend 7.89
EUR to receive 7.89

How can the amount be the same? Thank you.

@kraken support people

Is there some kind of estimate on when something usable will be rolled out?
First week of December. Jesse Powell (CEO) made a reddit post about it. But currently Kraken is a black hole for money. I sent some btc to it hoping to sell, but it's now completely impossible to trade (earlier it was possible if you just made enough attempts). And withdrawing to sell at another exchange doesn't work either. I would recommend not sending ANY money to it until the problems are fixed.

Yep. Kind of why I am asking.  This is the first week.  Tomorrow is Friday.

For us, this is as expected. Just empty promises by Kraken. The only thing they are good at is luring in people to their SCAM. It would be no surprise if the only improvement they worked on was how they could scam their customers even better.

Best first thing to do, leave this platform. Next step, consider & take steps of legal actions against these Scammers.

I'm also considering leaving kraken for now.
Their service is completely unusable.
I've had my share of problems, but now I'm fed up.
Bye, Kraken.

Hello all, some time I didn't came here as I wasn't using the site. With current prices though I decided to sell some coins and withdraw fiat. I used Kraken because this is the site I have sent all fiat for years, so if I withdraw from them, it's simpler to explain to tax authorities.

I managed to sell 2/3 of what I planned, at the price I planned or higher, so I'm pretty satisfied with that. It took me a couple hours to put up 3 simple orders though, a nightmare.

Today I'm trying to withdraw fiat, something I have done before so I know my tier is right, my bank account is right, etc. Between two clouflare errors I get either a red square in the middle of the page, or a message saying my Tier is not high enough.

Any ideas on how I could make this work ?

If the site works well in your region (say, the US) I could connect through there, I'm subscribed to a VPN service.

I finally just made it to the page where I can choose SEPA etc., and in red at the top : Service is currently disabled. Please try again later

Is it really disabled or should I continue to frantically refresh ?

edit : now another red message : There was a problem completing your request. Please wait a couple minutes before checking on the status of the request and retry the request if necessary.

It's not disabled. You just have to try again. I've literally just spent 24h (well I did sleep and eat in between tries) making two withdrawals. I've seen every code 5xx page error and all sorts of 'Service disabled' and 'Tier 3 cannot withdraw' errors. It's just ridiculous. 24h for something that should take a couple of minutes.

I couldn't even get through to sell my coins due to cloudflare errors never mind make any withdrawals. I'm guessing it's going to be quite difficult to make any successful transactions until everything calms down which could be a while as there must be lots of users desperately trying to cash out continuously.

But on the bright side, your coins are perfectly safe on Kraken. It takes 24h for a legitimate user with all passwords and e-mail access, the hackers don't stand a chance Wink

I've finally managed to order a transfer. Since I had to do it ten times, I'm ending up with a double order...

Uggh, finally managed to load the bitcoin deposit page up and it's now saying:

This action is not available for tier level 3

Your current funding tier level (3) is insufficient for this functionality. Please further verify your account to increase your tier level and funding limits.

What the hell? I've had no issues before.

This is what Kraken has been for many users for months now. And yes, it is ridiculous.

You need to try and try and try again, as mentioned in other posts.

We did a little test on Kraken today to see whether things have improved for API users. Guess what....a total error percentage of 94% for placement calls. Tested with 100 small limit orders (API answers such as Eservice uavailable, Eservice Busy, and other answer NOT containing a correct answer with order ID etc are counted as errors).

This just to quantify the horrible users experience happening for months now (At least in our case, leading to the choice to stop trading on Kraken, expect for these little test now and then.)

This site is just a joke. Unfortunately on the cost of its users.

Yeah, I finally managed to get an address up, but there's so many backlogged transactions it wouldn't surprise me if it takes a day or more to go though and the price looks to be falling as people panic that they can't sell. Had to pay a £30 fee on a £2k transaction as well. I guess these are just the growing pains of bitcoin and are something we'll have to learn to deal with but hopefully these exchanges will plow some money into making their services more efficient because it'll only get worse as more users get involved.

This is how "normally" (normally for them) their exchange works nowadays. Keep on trying patiently until you place your withdrawals. It's not a problem of tiers, it's just an erroneus error message (imagine that: the error is in error).

I am out of my words, how can a site like kraken run so extremly poorly? I regret using them, If I only knew before... I use kraken as entry gateway to get my hands on some bitcoins. My play is to transfer a few of them so I can trade some alt coins on another platform. Guess what, after finally managing to get bitcoins I can not transfer them to another bitcoin wallet.

I can't say how much frustrated I am. It seems they have disabled the option to withdrawal bitcoins? Can some1 confirm? And also how can I get my bitcoins now to another wallet? It is fucking ridiculous ppl should stop trading there alltogether, they run an overall shitty service and ppl are losing effectively money.
