Did you notice the reject rate? Its 7.89473%

Not too surprising for f2pool which ramps up vardiff pretty quickly. It had not been running very long when the picture was taken.

has not sold out

Looks promising. Here's hoping next week I will at long last have a hashing x-1.

Well - hopefully 2 as 2:1 compensation still seems more than in order at this point :-)

Thank you for the update.

This news is heartening. I have 2 X-1 batch one units on order from Minersource. I also ordered a PSU for the 'compensation' unit.

Anyone hear anything about batch 2 X-1 units? I have 4 of those on order with minersource.

Just to let everyone know. We are not ignoring compensation. We have promised things and we will fulfill our promises. However we want to do it properly. For that reason we first want to get shipping running and get back to business as usual. However we will do the right thing.

BA better get a move on, it's getting real now.

Quote
ASICMINER has said it will order the equivalent of 30,000 TH/s of wafers each month. Furthermore, the Avalon fourth-generation 28nm chip is set to tapeout soon and AntMiner’s S3 chips are projected to be out this July.

Beijing-Shenzhen company HashRatio actually has the first successful implementation of ASICMINER’s third-generation ‘Friedcat’ (烤猫) 40nm chip in a 768 GH/s unit and are ready to produce them in volume right away, without the need to take pre-orders.

Taken from: http://www.coindesk.com/private-china-meeting-bitcoin-mining-industry-leaders/

If this is accurate and ASICMINER alone is going to be producing 30 PH of new hashing machines a month it's past time to get out of the mining game.  They would nearly double the current hashrate in two months.  No matter how many machines are withdrawn from hashing difficulty is going to go supernova.

Not I.

"The first Prospero X1 miner was sent to the first customer." - I guess this means only order #1 has been sent (They said customer not customers)

They said a couple of days ago they could send out without cases but now we have to wait for the cases and the causeless X-1's aren't being sent straight away?

Also to ask.. (if anyone knows). I presume the power supplies are 110V/230V 50/60Hz input. not just 110V. As they are shipping to places all over the world they will be multi voltage and BA are not just making them 110V input for the USA Market only.

On Minersource they say they have them in the post so maybe they are the first customer.

Woohoo! Finally received my refund from minersource. THANK YOU!!!

What did you originally pay in?  What was given?  Was it the same number of btc as you paid or was it adjusted to current prices?

i originally paid 2.5285 btc and i received 2.5283 btc today for my refund, which i believe is the amount i paid minus transaction fees. It is all i wanted.

Sounds good David.

Another thing not entirely appropriate for this forum but:
I have an outstanding request which remains unanswsered for over a month now.
It is about transferring my order to Minersource, in order to host my machine there, as you guys don't have any hosting space left.

Could you please check? Thanks!

Prepare to enter a world of stress

Glad to hear!

I agree, as I'm sure at least some others here do, that your only priority at the moment should be getting units shipping. I look forward to an update shortly thereafter!

Why would anyone buy them with their terrible Watt to GH ratio?  They can produce all those chips they want, nobody is going to buy them.  And if the difficulty rises, the first miners to get switched off will be these.  Between Spondoolie, Blackarrow and BFL all releasing much better performing watt to GH chips, I don't see why anyone would buy these unless they are dirt cheap.

I have just received documents with a lot of info about the director of BA. The company is actually registered in Hong Kong not inland PRC which makes it much easier to chase it legally. The owner is Romanian living in UK. From all the info related to director it seems that the company may be highly suspicious. If things won't get clarified shipping/refund wise within next to weeks that would make it pretty obvious it is a well designed scam... I won't post more info here because I don't want to get censored :-)

Said nothing what would prove your point, i guess a lot of people know where is he from and where company registered - obviously it's stated on the website. Rest is just another unproved hater bla bla. Otherwise please provide proof.

Proof of what?
Proof of not delivering the unit months ago and refusing to refund?
It's self evident

Who are you anyway? You have had no forum activity and suddenly you came up with some suspicious random post defending BA.
I bet you have not even ordered anything from this company.

And you you want a proof then talk to LennonNZ to give you a link

I posted a link to the documents but it got deleted by Blackarrow. I reposted it in the scam accusations thread by the user 'notbatman'.

Let's see if _this_ post gets deleted too..

At the risk of being accused of shilling myself as well, I've seen these documents, and they demonstrate nothing.

There are indications of tax shelters, and people were concerned that the director of a Hong Kong company was a Bulgarian (or was it Hungarian?) living in Britian.

Maybe that raises questions, perhaps. But there's nothing that demonstrates a scam.

Maybe they were deleted as a cover up, maybe they were deleted because they contain some dudes home address and private email. I honestly don't know.

I don't see a scam. I see another delayed piece of bitcoin hardware by a company that still has an opportunity to at least partially make things right.
