I posted a link to the documents but it got deleted by Blackarrow. I reposted it in the scam accusations thread by the user 'notbatman'.

Let's see if _this_ post gets deleted too..

At the risk of being accused of shilling myself as well, I've seen these documents, and they demonstrate nothing.

There are indications of tax shelters, and people were concerned that the director of a Hong Kong company was a Bulgarian (or was it Hungarian?) living in Britian.

Maybe that raises questions, perhaps. But there's nothing that demonstrates a scam.

Maybe they were deleted as a cover up, maybe they were deleted because they contain some dudes home address and private email. I honestly don't know.

I don't see a scam. I see another delayed piece of bitcoin hardware by a company that still has an opportunity to at least partially make things right.

It's the history of the man those documents point to that's the interesting bit.  Alex Sovu of Romania and Berkshire, UK has had various previous businesses and "scams" under both his name and aliases such as "Alex Berk".  Would you trust a seemingly legitimate company, that's proven to be badly run, maybe, if it was run by someone who's had a string of scams and cons in the past?

It's very very similar to BFL who's principles include con artists who ran mail scams targeting the elderly.  This isn't a conspiracy theory, it's a more of a police blotter/rap sheet.

Countdown to this post being deleted....begins..... Now.

I have been getting anxious the past couple days and wanted to cancel my order but I have changed my mind and have decided that BA may finally give us what we all have been waiting for and plus some extra bonus.

Fair response.  Honestly, I'm right there with you. I have a few X1 orders and keep debating asking for a refund from MS.  For the moment I'm holding out as well, I hope you're right.

Didn't BA claim before a case isn't really a big deal? In shenzen it only takes a couple of days? I know thats what terry of Zeusminer has been saying. It just doesn't take that long to do anything but the main chip is what i got out of the terry of zuesminer's posts.

That would involve lots of coordination. Who do you think could manage such a level of deceit?

The only thing that's given me confidence in BA's actual ability to deliver these miners is that there is a driver for it: https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer/commits/master - as of late there have been a lot of commits of code for the Minion chip.  If all the chip orders have gone out, where did they go, and is there anyone with a variant miner model running with these?

i have like a presentiment that is the last week and shipments will begin around next week !
to be serious for a moment the official and unofficials teams (china, US, europe) are in the process of finding the right solutions for everyone
besides the issues with x3 backplane i think it there's other things to take into consideration for others of us like getting a plug'n'play product, the hosting platforme, the refunds, re-sellers program ....
all that just to reflect and give good vibes to the staffs and costumers and STOP with ur conspiracies about alex and the people of eastern europe!

Not a conspiracy theory.  And Eastern Europe has really nothing to do with it.  A criminal is a criminal no matter where he's from. I could say he's from New York and it wouldn't make a difference.  Got some close Bulgarian, Romanian and Ukranian friends, so he can be from Mars for all I care.

It's like you're defending dropping off your child at a daycare center run by a known and registered child molester. Wouldn't something like that give you pause? Would you still defend him?

Hope it is no scam and that they will be able to deliever.

Clearly my last pre-order in my whole life.

Last message from BA:

As per management's update. We are not ignoring compensation. We have promised things and we will fulfill our promises. However we want to do it properly.

For that reason we first want to get shipping running and get back to business as usual. However we will do the right thing.

As the team are trying to overcome this current challenge, we are just waiting for new updates from the management to be released; then we are to be able to give more information soon.

We understand your concerns, and be assured that all efforts to expedite everything; is aimed to give our customers the best of our products and services.

Sincerely,
Sylvia

The really fast reply gives a little hope

All of this stuff came up when Blackarrow was selling FPGA boards from cardreaderfactory.com. You can read all about it in the Lancelot sales thread. It turned out not to be a problem then and I doubt it will be a problem now. We can all agree that this could have been handled better but I don't think bringing this stuff up again is fruitful at this point.

yes I had read the anecdote that's it who's alex if its the international scammer from romania...! I can share your opinion on the fact that nobody knows who manages and how and from where but to doubt at this stage if its a scam i think its too late for that the chips exists minersource have already been delivered and right now i grant you they don't care about time because all requirments are there they take their time against the wish of everyone

The fact that someone is Romanian living in UK has indeed nothing to do with credibility.

What makes it loses it's credibility is that they units were supposed to be delivered months ago and that when you request the refund you receive unpleasant generic reply telling saying that you have no right to receive the refund and making you feel that they do you a big favour by considering refunding your money at all. Then after this generic reply then do not respond to your e-mails. Also pure fact you cannot reach them directly on their phone lines is not very credible neither.

On top of that what makes it loses it's credibility that director is investing in suspicious company in Virgin Islands (nternational money laundering and tax haven) and if "jedimstr" is correct his previous financial manipulations.

The history of BA and their X1 and X3 seems to mirror the one of Bitimine. Bitmine also failed to deliver on time their Rigs (larger units) and were very delayed with their Desks (smaller units). The difference between Bitmine and BA is that Bitmine responds to your phone calls, e-mails and give refunds back to some degree although often after 6-8 weeks of waiting. Also Bitmine adds 10% compensation with the refunds.
I seems that you may receive your X1s but you may have serious problems with your X3s and refunds.

It seems that BA just doesn't give a shit about customer care as they probably feel untouchable because they are based half of the world away from most of customers in the country which makes them hard to chase legally.

It is also possible that the whole project was planned by mentioned director to acquire technology to build his own farm using X1s and/or X3s or own designed untis based on the chips acquired. Although they deny it in their recent news.
He may be sending some X1s to keep customers thinking hopeful for their units in order to receive more cash flow while building his own farm. It's only a suspicion of course.

Blackarrow miners removed from Minersource web site store Shocked
Well this is probably due to what they were selling, X-1 abnd X-3 batch three promised for late may/ early June.

Hopefully bobsag can give us an update on this, but I'd presume they've resigned themselves to not taking any further pre-orders and instead selling them when they are truly in stock.

Now that inspires confidence  Shocked

We can infer that Bobsag doesn't want any more hassle with this "product line", or this is a backend product deletion error that will be addressed.

Rather than making assumptions, I would prefer to hear from Bobsag directly.

Bobsag, what say you?

Its because it causes problems with the shipping program and additional time spent shipping every day, I do enjoy the conspiracy theories tho.
