I don't know if someone wrote about that besides me but I was the first to mention that FUN token added the BNB network and they have lots of plans on their website, they also added a dice game. I also liked when I saw so much news on their website but I don't understand why they don't talk about their relationship with Freebitco. I think this website is killing this project. FUN only had a temporary boost from Freebitco in 2020, after that, it has been only the path of downgrade.

Unfortunately, most of those plans were supposed to be completed by the end of this year according to their roadmap. It is the same old story where they make empty promises to keep investors hopeful but nothing ever really materializes. They also had a version of the token on Polygon but that has since been abandoned it seems. I don’t know why the token has a CEO and an entire team if they are not producing anything. If you took a pile of money and set it on fire it would have accomplished the exact same thing.

How much have you lost in percentage terms? Those who bought at the peak when FBI adopted the tokens and sell now will have lost 90% or so. Well, in your case it was not thousands of dollars, if I don't over calculate what you have cashed out is about $8.5, so if you bought the maximum you invested about $85 or $90. We all hate to lose money and depending on where you live it can be relatively a lot of money but it doesn't seem an exorbitant amount.

I can't remember vividly how much or what was the price when I bought into fun token a couple of years back, but I remember losing 1/3 of the amount of money I invested which is over 50 percent, I invest $100 at the time but when I sold it, I got back around $28, it was painful to be honest, but each time I look at the price of fun token today, I am happy I decided to sell it off at the time I did, for if I was to be selling it now, maybe what I did be getting would be around $2 or something.

Though I understand that there are really some great Altcoins out there that are worth holding for the long term just like bitcoin, but unfortunately, fun token is a great example of what is meant when we are adviced to never hold an Altcoin for a long time.

Always a risk of course but there is no standard fixed outcome for people, it did vary very much how of the benefits of the token you actually used.

Like anything if you have no utility for the thing you buy then expecting a profit from buying what you dont need is unusual thinking.  In crypto we're all walking on the ceiling and expecting the impossible of course, BTC is some fairy tale come true and a few billionaires and other mainstream cant believe its real.

It could be zero for some people or dare I say some people gained, this varies alot by their usage of the site.  There must be some sliding scale, the cashback element is % so somebody very high roller would really ignore the buy in cost to gain that % back.
   I wont argue in favor but ignoring it does give some part back after purchase would be unrealistic.  The vast majority, the humble plebs want the spins back because we're not the high rollers but experience will vary no doubt.  Its a failure in publicity etc. not to give back the spins because it was the one prize for the ordinary user.

Did they have the version of the token on Polygon? Why did they abandon it? Polygon is one of the most popular blockchain. I didn't have this info.
Btw FUN token still has some time but I don't think they'll do all the job in the last 20 days because most people start to take days off for holidays. Btw I have had the same question for months, why does it have a CEO, marketing and other team? I see that they do meetups at crypto hubs but who is listening to them? Who is interested? This is a failed project, the price has been going down for years and their last YouTube video shows a crypto meetup from November 2023. I think that at this point that are trying to scam people by giving them false hopes in this project. FUN isn't innovative and doesn't solve any problem, everything got especially worse when they collaborated with Freebitco. Now it's only a downhill for them, this is a deal project.

Yeah, I didn’t loose a massive amount of money as I aimed to have always more than 12,500 tokens as that was the most interesting tier in my mind. First tokens I bought when it was about 100 satoshis; average buying prive is about 60 satoshis. It seemed promising in the beginning and I think I even made a small profit with all the WOF spins and the extra interest I was earning.

Because freebitco.in is doing misleading propaganda, announcing a premium program which doesn't fulfill what it promises. They offer daily spins on Wheel of Fortune to premium users, but don't deliver the spins.

Moreover, some months ago high rollers who used to bet big sums in the platform had their funds sent to unknown addresses (they were hacked). Freebitco.in never explained properly what was going on with the platform, and since then we have come downroad. Support disappeared and trust is gone.

FUN losing price is just a detail when you take everything which has been happening into consideration.

They had several short-lived casinos that adopted the Polygon token. xfun.bet and xfun.casino shut down and xfunarcade.io is effectively dead. They needed a big website like FreeBitco.in to accept it and major exchanges to list it if they wanted any meaningful adoption, but they failed in that regard.

In the current context, no signature campaign or any other type of marketing is out of the question. Moreover, even now, it is unlikely that any of the managers will dare to promote this project.
Imho, if the freebitcoin team doesn't plan to completely abandon the project, they should first fix all the issues and regain the trust of the community. Only after that, they can launch a signature campaign.

Yeah, their signature campaign here on this forum was one of the longest running and consistent signature ad campaigns all through the time it lasted, I can't tell between stake and freebitco, which started their signature ad campaign first on this forum, but I am very sure that freebitco have had theirs from way back, used to see the ads around on the forum before I started noticing stake, this was several years before I ever did think of joining stake signature ad campaign.

The management of freebitco really messed up to be honest, but still, it's their business and they can run it however they choose to, but they should have seriously considered the good reputation they managed to build here before this whole fiasco began, which lead to Hhampuz having no choice but to end their ad campaign here on the forum, which is understandable and a wise decision because if he had allowed the campaign to keep running, possibly he would have ended up oweing participants.

It was a pity that such a long sig campaign stopped due to the problems. I wonder if Hhampuz received any messages from FBI members after the one where he stopped the campaign. Best I can remember I'd still rate the FBC sig campaign as newer of the two.  I was on Stake campaign from near the beginning (on this forum) and FBC started up after it following some suggestions to do so with TheQuin being active then still;  I remember he mentioned FBC sig positions being open at least once on this thread.

Before any of this recent trouble TQ changed jobs and moved off a public responsive position, referring to him still when he has no stated public facing responsibility is probably not fair to do so.
  I might remember wrongly but Im pretty sure it was stated clearly at the time, he wasnt continuing to do the same work so I dont see the point in calling out someone who formerly did that job some time ago.   Where or what he currently does I wouldn't know, Im just stating from what I remember & I wasnt taking notes seriously

If anyone from a support position does pop up please do try and stay polite with them in doing their job.  Its really unfortunate the lack of response on this thread but its not improving by sniping any that do pop their heads up into the line of fire.    I've done support previous years, its hell often, frequently under appreciated & seldom thanked properly.

Just my guess, the losses experienced by investors because of FUN Token are also experienced by freebitcoin, especially since they have a very large portion when they start investing in this token, the development carried out in their casino, namely dplay, may not produce what is expected. This is the risk of investing in crypto, you can get a jackpot but also lose everything, if they invest in Bitcoin now their assets must have increased in dollars due to the increase in the price of BTC.

So maybe all these issues are the result of investments not delivering what was expected.

However, as you can see, this has not led to anything because normal communication with the community is still lacking. In fact, they have some strange “professional” support team whose account, for some reason, has been inactive on this forum for months.

There are more casinos that don't have active support staff in some of the discussion topics on bitcointalk and that is not a bad thing if all things are running smoothly without issues. You might be right; the value of FUN tokens only went downhill which they might not have expected and they probably also had higher hopes from the casinos they created.

I don't think the low FUN token rate is the reason why Freebitcoin started having various issues. Before the announcement of the partnership in 2021, the FUN token rate was already at a low level and the Freebitcoin team probably understood the risks at that time. Moreover, the low FUN token rate didn't affect the performance of the Freebitcoin site in neither 2022 nor 2023.

1.) Reminding everyone that the renewal of the domain is a big part of determining if anyone is behind the wheel.


2.) As far as the "Hacks" are concerned. The attacks were a creative use of client side phishing tactics combined with bad security measures. Possibly even key logging.

A reminder:
Assume you are being key logged all the time. 2FA (Second factor authentication) is a way to avoid a brute force/ password/ dictionary attack (and more).

Basically the attackers were betting that the client didn't have 2FA enabled and that the client would then turn it on. By turning 2FA on, the email asking if you want to withdraw is no longer sent. Basically as you attach the 2FA, the hackers are brute forcing your account either by cookie, password, or other means in order to withdraw your BTC. You provide them the window under the guise of Freebit.co.

It is always advised to have a strong password and enable 2FA upon the start of any Crypto related account.
