There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Wesleyh

Is it still actual testing of your standalone NxtWallet for Windows, or we should test your online nxt-client?

If it is still actual, I noticed one strange behavior in standalone client:

NxtWallet is started and running, and after about 2-3 hours of not using it, it "hibernates". It seems working, but then I check "My Assets" or "Open orders" it shows nothing, while I have my assets and open orders. Also when I'm writing this, recent block and recent transaction seems stopped 3 hour ago. To get working I need to close and restart NxtWallet client.

Online wallet is the most recent with most recent javascript. I have not had your issue, weird! I will make a new build later on, but focus on developing the online wallet first.

Refreshing the browser is the same as logging out, I guess I could add a session storage thingie so that it auto-logs in again? It would just be your account ID and auto-log in again on refresh. (And also if you open a new tab and go to the site). When you close the browser completely and re-open you would have to log in again.

People, you want this feature?

Why does Wesley's client log you out when you refresh the browser?

Perhaps make it an option in settings, I for one would not want it for security reasons.

An option would be good...it just sucks having to input the passphase over and over again....refreshing the browser is an ingrained habit for many people.

2nd Point....Is it for security reason why we have to input our passphase every time we BUY & SELL an assets?

Test it out.

@CFB, are you currently developing Parallel Blockchain?  If not, want to find someone to head up project.

Currently I'm working on Digital Goods Store.

Thanks, do you plan on developing PB before your departure?  I know you offered assistance for those willing to head up the project in the past.

Depends on if AT does require PB. If not, then I'll implement only AT.

This doesn't sound like a sure thing as many people are assuming here.  I believe CFB is looking for a technical member of the community to step up and implement Parallel Blockchains.  Perhaps this should be the first task for Tech committee, w/ reward bounty.

OK i will make it an option.

2nd point: Yes, but I will add a checkbox in some later version on the login page asking you if you want your password remembered yes or no. Then you will not have to fill it in every time. Just make sure you CLOSE the browser completely if you leave.

@Wesley

On the dashboard...can't we have the choice of recent trades instead of recent transactions/recent blocks?

Or am I not aware of this option.

there is no api available to get trade history of a USER, only for specific assets. I asked CFB to add this though, he may have forgotten.

mastercoin community is virtually non-existent? :/ http://mastercointalk.org/index.php?PHPSESSID=089oprtopcfe7q5tq2sdojvq56&
trying to find info about it is a bitch... :/

at least we can copy asset ideas:

Quote
Businesses using user-created tokens:

1) Airlines - transferable flyer miles create a more dynamic and fluid market for airline tickets, hard nut to crack but an obvious one, supply is created by the airline's economists/consultants and destroyed when redeemed for tickets. You just need to convince one airline.

2) Game companies - most game companies that rely on microtransactions go through the Google or Apple payment gateway and lose 30% of their revenue, but those companies can't regulate how they change their own game data-base when a blockchain transaction is recognized. I can email several people I know in both the indie and social game sectors to see how interested they would be in trying a transferrable, higher margin currency for their premium game content.

3) NGO's could use these coins to try and kickstart economic activity in regions where they are operating, Auroracoin style, a bit of a long-shot but the PR and actual economic upsides are huge. I don't have such a large contact list in this segment but it's worth going through a DB of NGOs doing development work in underbanked regions and cold-emailing them.

This would allow you to quickly see market activity.....very helpful for those day trading.

EDIT: I think recent trades of all users is necessary....information of recent blocks is useless info for those trading inside AE client.

Most recent trades is a must.

It's coming along well! While we're waiting for the NRS core to 'catch up' on some important features, two key members have mapped out a large chunk of the game logic. Another member has met an artist to sketch out some core visual themes, and another member has cooked up some sound design elements. Most importantly, we have another member that keeps the dreamers (right side) and geeks (left side) in check and moving along during our IRC meetups :: gavel! ::

Our strengths, deficits and quirks complement each other nicely, more than a group of RPG/crypto nerds could hope for. I've been the weakest link thus far, with the my job taking me out of the picture due to the US east coast polar vortex bullshit, wedding planning, and my laptop being in stasis for a solid 4 days. That's easing up now and I'm finally caught up with the most recent 50-60 pages. All of the parallel/slave talk has been really, really good news.

My hope is we will have a teaser page of sorts to post when the clock strikes 13:00 GMT on that bright cold day in April. We're getting together again this Thursday so I might have more concrete news by this weekend.

Really great! Can't wait the bright cold day  Grin
