need more info about the purpose of generate token. I just generate a token, then how to use it? You generate the token for any string, but in this case it can be for a website. Basically, when the other party decodes the token, it will show the owner of the account (who generated the token).

Hi swartzfeger, how's the mmrpg game concept going? since parallel chain will available soon, I think we can continue on this
It's coming along well! While we're waiting for the NRS core to 'catch up' on some important features, two key members have mapped out a large chunk of the game logic. Another member has met an artist to sketch out some core visual themes, and another member has cooked up some sound design elements. Most importantly, we have another member that keeps the dreamers (right side) and geeks (left side) in check and moving along during our IRC meetups :: gavel! :: Our strengths, deficits and quirks complement each other nicely, more than a group of RPG/crypto nerds could hope for. I've been the weakest link thus far, with the my job taking me out of the picture due to the US east coast polar vortex bullshit, wedding planning, and my laptop being in stasis for a solid 4 days. That's easing up now and I'm finally caught up with the most recent 50-60 pages. All of the parallel/slave talk has been really, really good news. My hope is we will have a teaser page of sorts to post when the clock strikes 13:00 GMT on that bright cold day in April. We're getting together again this Thursday so I might have more concrete news by this weekend.

do you have to give out your secret phrase to tip with that? can you tip on twitter with it? would there be anyway to create a tipbot on twitter same as the reddit one? so that you need not give your phrase to a website/anyone? Perhaps, I would reach out to Passion_ltc, he was our guy for developing Nxt web apps. Because I can't install the new NRS branches anymore, tipNXT is also non functional atm. If someone have a running NRS on a server with activated API calls let me know. Hey, you can use my public node on Android TV stick http://217.17.88.5:7876/

Anyone know what's the secret sauce to converting a password to an account ID without API calls?
you need to call a couple of functions client side: SHA256(secret_phrase) gives private key. Curve25519(private_key) gives public key. SHA256(public_key) gives account id. First 64 bits give VISIBLE account id.

Bug report @ wesleyh
When trying to send NXT, but entering a wrong password, the error message "Not enough funds" is shown.
Should be something like "Wrong secret phrase".
Fixed, test it please. http://nxtra.org/nxt-client/

Bug report @ wesleyh
Idk if this one is just too dumb, but it could result in NXT being sent from a wrong account:
If two accounts A and B are open in the same browser (chrome) at the same time, I'm able to send NXT from account B, while I'm in account A's browser window.
This is a bit tricky. I'm in account A and have 900NXT, account B has 7'000NXT, both are logged in. I go into the window of account A and send some NXT from there, BUT i enter the password of account B.
Result: B sends the NXT without me noticing, because I am in window A.
How to reproduce:
1. Log in to two account at the same time. Buth accounts should be funded 2. Send NXT -> Enter an amount and recipient -> enter SECRET PHRASE of "the ohter opened" account -> Send NXT 3. "NXT has been sent", but you don't see any new transactions 4. Switch browser window and find the transaction.
Thanks, that's actually the same "bug" (I don't really classify this as a bug) as the "wrong secret phrase" thing you reported. It will automatically be fixed when that is fixed. Password will be checked if it maps to currently logged in account id. This should be fixed too as a result of the above fix.

**BUG I THINK If you log out and then log in with a different account you get buy/sell messages reflecting the different assets. So I logged out / in with different accounts and I get messages on log in like 'you bought 138 node coins' because the two accounts have different amounts and you bought 1440 Ranbow ends because one account has them and the other account doesn't have any. Looks like some residual data is surveying the logout. I tried to capture the messages with screen cap - you can just about make them out here. *EDIT: nothing is being bought and sold of course so the messages are in error. Should be fixed, please test.
