It's a year since the preliminary phase of the coup d'etat in Ukraine, commonly known as EuroMaidan, started. Paid for by the then Minister of Finance in Yanukovich's government and, according to Nuland, the USA's "man in Ukraine"- Proroshenko, it was a personal success for him. The president was displaced, long live the new president.

Nuland's cookies brought also a predominant success to the USA, except for one of their primary objectives of turning Crimea into a NATO base (I wonder why the yanks thought that Crimeans would surrender to Nazi-Ukriane/USA, when in 1940s they didn't surrender to Nazi Germany and in 1850s they didn't surrender to British/French invaders).

But USA had success in their other primary objective of destabilizing a country on the Russian border and starting a civil war, which has already killed hundreds of Russians living in Donbass and Ukrainian conscripts. The secondary objectives of driving an economical and political wedge between Russia and Europe, as well as an energy wedge between the Northern and the Southern Europe (by making them block the South Stream) were also achived.

On the negative for the USA side, they unwittingly proverbially kicked Russia in the butt, making it seek new markets and start to revive its own industry and agriculture.

You obviously do not know what the word "proverbially" means in this context. Germany supports the Ukrainian coup d'etat that was brought about with the active help the the swastica-bearing parties. (Right Sector and UPA have, by the way, been declared as extremist parties in Russia)

Trainers in these training seminars and camps are almost exclusively American, Canadian or British. Russian TV did some stories on these secret seminars held oftentimes in an inconspicuous Polish neighborhood. They obtained the lists of instructors with clearly English-sounding names. When they tried to film the inside through the window or glass door, the curtains would be drawn immediately or the door barricaded – all that caught on film.

No, the anti-Russian sentiment wasn’t born during Soviet times. If anything, any real Ukrainian should be grateful to the Soviets. After all, it was Lenin in 1918-1922, who ‘gave’ all of east and south, including Donbass (Lugansk and Donetsk), Zaporozhie, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Odessa, Kherson and Nikolaev to Ukraine. This was done to appease the existing ultra-nationalist sentiment there, plus to give the poor, agricultural Ukraine (What I call ‘Ukraine proper’ – the areas concentrated around Kiev, central and northern Ukraine) an industrial base and educated work force, which could bring them sustainable revenue. The goal was to significantly pull up their standard of living. Under Stalin, this idea was expanded as Russians built an extremely strong industrial base in Ukraine, off which Ukraine has been living till today. The fact that they, and their oligarchs, never modernized or added to that base, but like a bad drunk preferred to squander their rich Soviet inheritance, speaks volumes of their ability to self-govern. That notwithstanding, they blame Russia.
