Ukrainian oligarch Poroshenko leading pres race with over 50% voteshttp://rt.com/news/161416-ukraine-exit-polls-poroshenko/For the record, the real name of Poroshenko is Valtsman. He is making several mistakes already, judging by the following quotes: “My first presidential trip will be to Donbass,” Poroshenko said at a party briefing, using the popular name for the historical region in eastern Ukraine.
“We can now state firmly and with confidence – the whole Ukraine cast its vote, this is the choice of the whole Ukraine,” he said. Poroshenko promised that “we will have a united and unitary, not federative state.”
"I am certain that our decisive actions will bring fairly quick results," the 48-year stated without clarifying what these “actions” would entail, as earlier it was announced that Ukrainian troops are to resume what Kiev calls an “anti-terrorist” operation in eastern Ukraine. He basically says that he will go to Donbass with arms, and that the main demand from the region - federalisation - will be ignored. Not a smart move. I already read some speculations as to whether he'll be assassinated on his first trip there, so as to blame the resistance an launch a full-scale ruthless extermination of Donbass 5+ million population... Yes, more manslaughter in sight... In the nearest future the “active phase of the anti-terrorist operation” will resume in the restive regions, the first deputy PM of Ukraine Vitaly Yarema vowed, claiming that Ukrainian armed forces have completely blocked off parts of the areas under the control of the self-defense forces in Lugansk and Donetsk regions.
Ukraine’s army has only temporarily halted its active actions, Yarema said, “so that the residents of the eastern areas could get to the polls and vote.”
Yet despite the promised calm, a number of armed clashes involving Ukrainian troops have been reported in the east of Ukraine on the day of the vote. The so-called “anti-terrorist” operation with the involvement of air forces and armored vehicles has been dragging for several months now, with dozens of people killed in the shelling – many of them civilians and even international journalists caught in the damage. This is one more nail in the coffin of Ukraine. Sadly, this means more civilian deaths are coming. For all intents and purposes, Poroshenko is the gauleiter of VUkraine, while NAUkraine didn't participate in the selections. The terms VUkraine and NAUkraine are used to distinguish the Ukrainian speaking West (they use preposition "v" when saying " in Ukraine"), and the Russian-speaking East (where "na" is used, when saying " in Ukraine", literally " on Ukraine"). http://yablor.ru/blogs/dve-ukraini/3638493A reader comment to one of the articles: Nirbijan Lastone 26.05.2014 07:44
Actually there is only one completely unrealistic scenario when Kiev can preserver Ukraine - arrest and try Kiev nazi for their crimes and all killings in Odessa and Donbass , negotiate with Donbass, change constitution, acknowledge Russian as equal state language and give autonomy to South East of Ukraine. But that will never happen , of course. So , Ukraine as a united state is finished

What?! Klichko names Saakashvili as the probable candidate as Valtsman's (aka. Poroshenko's) adviserhttp://itar-tass.com/mezhdunarodnaya-panorama/1215357?utm_medium=rss20So, the whole gang's here! Saakashvili previously said that a raid take-over of Ukraine is being conducted. With him there, the circle will be complete, as Palpatine would have put it. There is an open arrest warrant for Saakashvili in Georgia, so even though Klichko was told to say that Georgia and Ukraine are partners, I doubt Saakshvili will set foot there as part of any delegation.
In the meantime, an EU official promised Ukraine a Visum-free regime by the end of the year: http://www.interfax.ru/world/377954
Klichko is going to be the mayor of Kiev, he already has over 56% of votes: http://ria.ru/world/20140526/1009378930.html

The last time I heard, the Georgian government was considering to evaluate the mental state of Saakashvili, as he was showing signs of psychosis and schizophrenia. Poroshenko will never get a better advisor.

One has to just love the elections in those countries: Crimea over 90% , Ukraine now with 85%. Pretty sure the other provinces will have their own elections again with 80-90% in favor.

Valtsman (aka Poroshenko) said that special operation against East will continue: http://ria.ru/world/20140526/1009397050.html"The operation must change its shape: it must be shorter, more efficient, better equipped with weapons and ammunition." said Valtsman. So, more blood, much more blood!

It's better to run this "special operation" against Crimea, we're all waiting this. It would be the great way to succeed.

There are reportedly shale gas deposits under Slavjansk and Kramotorsk, so Biden junior is hell bent on removing people from "his" land.
It's the only reason I see why they are concentrating so much heavy artillery fire power of these cities, and not on Lugansk and Donetsk.

lol... the Kiev junta can't even prevent its soldiers from defecting in Donetsk and Lugansk. How they are going to get back Crimea? The only option is to import mercenaries from the USA.

Did people notice how Valtsman formulated continuation of terror against East: “I don’t have the information, denoting that it [the operation] must now be stopped,” Poroshenko said at a news conference, as cited by RIA Novosti. "I support its continuation, but demand a change in its format – it must be shorter and it must be more effective, military units must be better equipped.” Information from whom? From Washington? http://www.gazeta.ru/politics/news/2014/05/26/n_6182313.shtmlLatest news from the airport: Either the army landed a decant there, or they were just prevented from doing do. One chopper might have been shot down: http://www.gazeta.ru/politics/news/2014/05/26/n_6182313.shtml

An interesting Op-Edge on RT with German journalist German journalist Manuel Ochsenreiter: ‘New Ukrainian President Poroshenko may enforce more violence in east’http://rt.com/op-edge/161500-ukraine-president-election-result/Before going to the east of Ukraine, likely new president Poroshenko will need to secure the situation for his PR-event, which means more violence by Ukrainian army and Western mercenaries, a German journalist Manuel Ochsenreiter told RT.
...
RT:With half of the ballot now counted it looks like a clear win for Poroshenko. Can he bring stability to the country?
MO: I do not think so. I think even the presidential elections which took place on Sunday are not a measure to bring peace and to calm down the situation, more or less it is a contradiction. He is very clearly the man of the West, one of the favorite candidates of the West. So what he will do, he will push Ukraine or the rest of Ukraine - Ukraine is not anymore the state we see on the map, it is a failed entity – towards the West and will of course push towards contracts with the EU and towards NATO. Both he announced already in the past.

Doesn't matter that half the people didn't voted at all.
What happened to all those Banderos and other Nazi/nationalist extremists that the Russians were so deeply concerned about? Willy Wonka intimidated them into staying at home? I have a better theory that makes more sense: a small minority of Russian nationalists and Russian football hooligans were making most of the trouble, putting on a nice show for the Russian media about "those crazy Ukrainians".
