No the end is near. Either the Kiev Nazis will invade Eastern Ukraine and expel everyone living there to Russia or Belarus. Or they will be defeated by the self-defense units in the East and a separate country will be created there.

That separate country should definitely include The Mother of All Russian Towns.
I already have a name for it - Kievan Rus. Ukraine sounds a bit derogatory.
Then they can have a bit of friendly competition with Moskovia, and everything will be as it should.

Just because there is no computer / phone production in Romania, that doesn't mean that there are no such industries in Russia. There are a lot of Russian brands as well, although the foreign brands might be more popular. The same goes for mining rigs.

At least four people were killed, all of them protesters. The remaining protesters have evacuated the airport, and are retreating towards the city center.

Also, an unknown number of protesters have been killed by the Ukrainian army and the Right sector militants in Slavyansk. The battle is going on.

 During the Olympic games, one comment from a Norwegian commentator caught my attention. A Ukrainian female biatlonist (I think, I didn't keep up with the events that much), was poised to get gold on the final run, and the commentator said: "Look at her, her country is on the way to disintegration and civil war, yet look at her go for the gold medal!" That comment puzzled me back then - Maidan protests didn't yet enter their most violent phase.
It carries a whole new weight now.
German gutter publication Bild sent a petition to Bundestag to remove Russian T-34 from a memorial near Brandenburg gates in Berlin "in connection with Russian tanks threatening Ukraine and the whole of Europe".

There are several confirmed deaths among anti-government activists in Kramatorsk, reports war correspondent and member of the Russian Presidential Council of Human Rights, Maksim Shevchenko. According to Shevchenko, who is currently in the Donetsk region and receives feeds from human rights activists in Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, the airport has been captured by troops. Kramatorsk activists reporting on live internet channels, however, claim that they are still holding their positions following the attack.
