what's the actual reward?
\ from what i understand the rewards in the forst 48 hours are super low people getting something a bit over 1 memcoin if you look through the pages... so not really worth it, i'll be back in 36ish hours...

I was really looking forward to this. Got up at 2am. Set everything going. Spent two hours getting everything connected and mining properly. Nearly 12 hours later NOTHING. Nada. Zip.
Oh well. Guess I'll keep it going until tomorrow and then angrily point everything back at yPool.
Totally not worth the sleep deprivation.

If I was a dev I would create the RAT. Rice Analogue Trader. I would be combined Pow/Pos and Pow would be CPU only in a way similar to XPM, as in it would contribute to the scientific community. Preferably running some genetic algorithms or some such fancy talk. A tiny fraction of every transaction would become part of a fund which automatically and securely distributed it's RATs to a series of charities which worked towards creating food security in area's affected by climate change and what not.

There seem to be no blocks found at all for more than 4 hours network wide.....
This is the data:
17:38:19  getmininginfo
17:38:19  { "blocks" : 96, "currentblocksize" : 3499, "currentblocktx" : 6, "difficulty" : 0.00000932, "errors" : "", "generate" : true, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespermin" : 0.54315519, "pooledtx" : 6, "testnet" : false }
17:38:53  getdifficulty
17:38:53  0.00000932
17:38:57  getdifficulty
17:38:57  0.00000932
19:22:02  getdifficulty
19:22:02  0.00000932
19:36:24  getmininginfo
19:36:24  { "blocks" : 96, "currentblocksize" : 3499, "currentblocktx" : 6, "difficulty" : 0.00000932, "errors" : "", "generate" : true, "genproclimit" : 4, "hashespermin" : 0.39555267, "pooledtx" : 6, "testnet" : false }
Does it mean what I think it means?

Syscoin has the best of Bitcoin and Ethereum in one place, it's merge mined with Bitcoin so it is plugged into Bitcoin's ecosystem and takes full advantage of it's POW while rewarding Bitcoin miners with Syscoin

Hah! I'm in exactly the same boat, apart from having even less sleep. I hope I get a few hits or like you said, back to ypool. I don't like the delay - the rewards should go to those on the ball, and why give the bots time to prepare!? We need a captchacoin, with a client that requires a human to solve a puzzle once a day or when the miner solves a block (maybe the solution would go back into the computation of future blocks, so is a way to make humans part of the computing process). Anything to not make it worth farming out to bots. CPU only and botnet-proof would get my attention! Otherwise, what's the point of delaying rewards? I've had 3 machines hammering away since the start, and still nothing.

The difficulty doesn't work properly at all. There is huge diff spike who really slow the network and the blockrate, then because of this low blockrate, the diff go down. But it go down too much, so the blockrate is now too high and the diff rise...too much again. And it's happening again.
There is a *50 spread between the low and high diff spike. It's definitely something wrong with the diff algo.

It means you're not synchronised by the look of it. Current block is 119

I get block 124.
Now this:
{ "blocks" : 124, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 0.00000046, "errors" : "", "genproclimit" : 4, "hashespermin" : 1.46542811, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false }
Why is the "Generate:" missing???

Any idea what could be causing this error? When it happens memorycoind terminates. Running MemoryCoinMiner with 1 transactions in block (195 bytes) Start Search terminate called after throwing an instance of 'boost::exception_detail::clone_impl<boost::exception_detail::error_info_injector<boost::thread_resource_error> >' what(): boost::thread_resource_error: Resource temporarily unavailable
Start Search is printed just before memory allocation - so I'd guess the system is not finding 1GB to allocate. How much memory does each thread use as I have 64 GB of ram and using 32 threads. We have a memory leak here?

Those of us mining now are basically performing a premine for them as the reward is low to make up for it.

I know, but reward increase seems pretty not linear. If so, at this time should be a quarter of total...and it's not
