If you can get coins from other reputed exchanges then it is better to avoid Hitbtc because support is not good if you face any issues. I didn't trade on this platform for quite some time due to these issues like withdrawals delay, high altcoin withdrawal fees and suddenly coins disappear from your wallet. If no other choice then you can try your luck but don't deposit a big amount.

I heard similar things. HitBTC customer services are reported to be not very good either.

Just don't use it as a wallet for the storage of your coins and you'll be fine. I do regularly use HitBTC for buying a few alts (not trading), and never face any issue(s); deposit, buy your coin, and withdraw it; it's a bit risky to sleep while your funds are in HitBTC's database, so don't do it and you should be fine.

But if I'm not wrong they got a very high withdrawal fee for some altcoins right?

That's the reason I brought and hold coins for a while and then sold it for a profit and convert those coins to bitcoins and withdrawn to my account. That's why I go there only to buy coins which are not available in other exchanges.

That is what so many people say.

I never used HitBTC but many of the people who have cite their bad customer services and high fees as a reason to find another exchange.

I have tried HitBTC twice at first i do already complain with the BTC withdrawal fee and after 6 months i came back since the token is only listed on this exchange and the fee still remains.
There are lots much better exchangers as of this moment so why would stick to this one if it can make our head ache. Bad customer service is always be a big issue.

Just check hitbtc reddit and you don't want to deal with them. If they block you, get ready for verification in the FBI style, which will last for months with no result. They will demand more and more new evidence from you until they find something that you cannot provide. You will need to prove that your grandfather paid taxes or they recognize your money is not clean. They blocked more than 10000$ dollars just now and now they require 1000 different documents / evidence that I am not a criminal. Verified accounts on all exchanges, a wallet with a history of more than a year, they do not look at it. And you can not do anything. You will wait for days and carry out their new tasks, because you will not have a choice. If you are going to trade in very small amounts, you can try. But do not try to keep a large sum there, you will lose it.

For a while I used HitBTC, and with the exception that fees are too high, I see no problems with this. However, I met several accusations, so I do not trust this service for 100%

Well, he's the one who created this thread, so he might be one of the official support team members. However, IT'S NOT RECOMMENDED TO CONTACT HIM THROUGH PERSONAL MESSAGES; no one should do that, otherwise we might get to see another (scammy) drama here.

He probably pressed the "login" button by mistake, thinking it was the "increase fake volume" button.

Should have drank a coffee or two after that long sleep......
