Hi, Could you tell me how can I check which one capacitor are broked ? This capacitor by fuses with blue flag it is 16v 330 mikro farrad ? br malin Much better, looks like you now have 12.5 units functioning, 3.5 not working. Not sure what you mean by "concrete worker" though... 5 and 6 should be near the ribbon cable, so my guess is for those two, the board probably has got the capacitor problem (due to ribbon cable forcing a capacitor to come loose). 12 may be the case on the other blade. Not sure about 2 though - could be that was one that you thought the fuse was OK, but is not? There have been cases of misaligned pins in the backbone board that goes atop the blades, with pins even being bent outside the connector, so it might be worth a close inspection all around, both for loose capacitors and bad connections on the backplane. K, I repair some fuses arent connect so I create baypases, and now i have like this:
It is some possible to locate concrete worker ?

If a capacitor is broken, it will be loose or come completely off (i.e. only 1 leg connected, or both not connected). It will be fairly obvious. But yes, that's one of the ones you should look at - basically all the blue flag capacitors. Could you tell me how can I check which one capacitor are broked ? My miner just stopped working today.
Temp1,Temp2 is 0 degree C. I removed the temp sensor before.
Avg Hash is always 0 too.
Is anyone get same problem like me?
i had exactly the same problem, could not recover it (also tried changing psu's) so now returned. warning to everyone running these with the psu's that came with these units.

Your power supplies are too weak, as grumpy said, are you sure they are 60+ amp single rail. I am having this problem with some of the Chinese factory power supplies! They built these units with the bare minimum components to run, saving all expenses and sparing none! That is the reason for the warnings not to over clock and run beyond the factory settings of 1300 mhz. These units were tested for 10 minutes or so on the factory power supplies and the called it good. The factory power supplies can not hold up under the long run times and heat, it is a marginal power supply for these miners, So may be good enough, but all are not! As I wait for ally upgraded power supplies to arrive I have my miner under clocked to 1100 mhz, this leaves enough power to go around to the whole system. It also keeps the running producing around 150 gh/s better than no hashing! I have purchased and installed a pair of Corsiar CX750 in a unit, it stopped doing this and is running great! I have two other types of power supplies arriving Monday and Tuesday. I will let everyone know how these work. Mtnminer I found my problems. I don't think you really need a 60a single rail unit, rather just a good quality PSU that has at least 750w to it. I'm using FSP Aurum 750w quad rail units and having no problems. Each plug has up to 18a per rail.

I was running a 750w with single rail and only 57a and that was not strong enough to power it. That whole unit should be pushing 72A if you add all the rails together. I'm sure you are not using the rails for anything else other then the fan and the blade.

Strangest behaviour is that from a cold start, machines and fans work fine. Problems start once they reach working temperature.
Instead of spinning faster, PWM is slowing the fans down when they get higher temp. (dont know why). You could try play with target and cutout temp. at higher value to see if that makes any difference. Or just move the sensor to near intake fan (colder) instead of measuring at the outlet.

Actually is possible for two of your power supplies to be weak and on not weak. If poor quality component were used in the manufacturing of the power supplies they will not be consistent in performance from one to another. Electronic components have specs to certain tolerances. You can buy many different resistors with the same value, but different ratings for the acceptable range of variation. 20%, 10% 5% and even 1% you pay more per piece for the more precision rating. The same with capacitors many may be rated the same for voltage and other ratings but have different heat tolerances. If the temp exceeds the specified tolerances the loose efficiency and can cease to function. This applies to almost every electronic component used in manufacturing a power supply. As an RF Engineer (radio engineer) I had to be very careful with the specific parts and their tolerances as these parts were used to generate and control frequencies. We had to stay on frequency and within a very narrow margin of power output. Every part was exposed to rf and heat. There is much more involved in how parts react to these factors than I can explain in the response. It is true you get what you pay for, these factors stated above are why some power supplies are more efficient and more reliable than others. These Chinese power supplies are very cheaply built and do not use high quality, precision parts and that is why they are flakey and unreliable. I am sure there are others here who can vouch for what I am saying, if you desire take some time and do some research and you discover what I have said is true. If your one Chinese power supply is holding up, it means you were lucky and got on that exceeds the average! Mtnminer Having similar fan problems with 2 of my 3 with factory standard PSU. However as there is one machine running at full speed, I'm amiss to think that the PSU's cannot provide enough power, as the 3rd one wouldn't mine at 200Ghs+. Even taking the chip frequency down to 300 doesn't cause the fans to start. Strangest behaviour is that from a cold start, machines and fans work fine. Problems start once they reach working temperature. What fan speeds are you seeing on your units. I am getting 2880 rpm on the upgraded power unit running at 1500 mhz. My other three units with the factory power supplies just can not keep the fan speeds up and I an running them under clocked until my other eight upgrade power supplies arrive. They are all running fan speeds at about 2280 rpm, if I raise the mhz the fans speeds drop and eventually quit due to the weak factory power supplies! One is still sitting cold just our of the box, waiting for the power supplies to arrive. Mtnminer Just wondering what is the best setup of fan speed that everyone is going for ? Me after 3 weeks with my machines, the best combination for me is:
Chip Frequency(Default: 300) 1300 or 1400 (1500 drain too much energy, and increase the % of error too much so no point… Target Temperature: 65 Overheat Cut Off Temperature: 75 More Options(Default: —quiet): --avalon-fan 20-20
These setup are giving me: Temp1: 25 Temp2: 65 Temp3: -1
Yep, there's no way you're going to be able to run at 1500 with those temps at that fan speed. If I don't do anything to the fan speed, I'm at 29 and 41 and I can run 1500 no problem with about 4% error, which is perfectly fine.

So what's the sweet spot? I got my fans ~2100rpm running stock clock speed and I'm ~30 in 40 out. Is there an optimal temp for these?

Are they still working... skype? btminecom? My friend has some problem, hashunit 11 is "0" FYI I send an email to btmine about the issue of damaged/nonworking units and he replied very quickly. He told me that I can ship my damaged hashing board by itself back to btmine in China and they will send a new replacement board back. I am sure it will take a week round trip, but that allows me to keep my working 100Gh/s up and running and avoids having to pay a huge shipping cost (shipping the board should not cost nearly as much, but I have not investigated that yet).

Feb 2 at about 8pm Central time (Chicago) I sent an email to btminecom@gmail.com that included my order number, output from the cgminer API page, and description of shipping damage (broken capacitor, missing temp sensor, loose boards). I suggested that I could just send back the damaged board. I got a response confirming that I could send back just the one damaged board and the RMA address at 9:56pm same evening (Feb 2). One thing I would suggest in dealing with any company on the other side of the world is to try to time your emails so it hit their desk at 8am-ish local time. Best chance of getting noticed if it comes in fresh when they first log in in the morning.

I was able to remedy this by flashing the firmware mtnminer posted I appreciate the response and also fully appreciate the time and effort people, like yourself, put into trying to help others; my thoughts weren't meant to challenge your conclusion. Like yourself, these BTMiners have been quite a journey is human emotions, from suspicion, to desire, to irrational panic buying, to concern, to utter deflation, to hope, to surprise, to realisation and finally to disappointment. My situation gets stranger still, as one of the slow operating miners has been working at 200Ghs for the whole day, whilst I was at work, and then decides to take itself down to 40Ghs for my return. Maybe it has bitminerphobia Also, mtnminer, have tried to connect to the Avalon wiki on http://www.newworldz.net/Chinese_Avalon_Clones but it has been unavailable for the last few days.
