Just wanted to say how pleased I am with this pool. I know how difficult it can be to try and maintain large systems like this that are changing constantly, relying on many 3rd parties and all with technology that is still in its relatively new.
I'm not concerned over delayed payouts, I trust they will come as soon as they can.
Not concerned YET; but this must be a one time thing otherwise it might be time to move to the next pool. Better a little less revenue but payed when expected. Compare it to the salary of your day job your salary has to be there when it should be there. I understand it's a hard job but aren't we paying a fee for that. That being said; the pool is stable and has low rejects that's a big plus. 1+ -- not saying that this is my fulltime Job but, Let me tell you > If my Salary for my real job came in Late I would be SPEWING, thank goodness its never happened. But yes your right we should treat this like our job.... We are practically working >> Maintaining our miners, paying a fee, Paying Electricity, creating budget , and always calculating profitability for your personal finances. It basically is like a second job to me. I think because of this mess-up, poolwaffle just learnt something new - so it may be a good thing. Either Multiple Exchanges < 1+ Or multiple Payout Times< or Hire a worker that can program some things for you to automate more than one exchange like MC & his 4 automated exchanges and then you can say buy to the worker or if his any good maybe keep him. lol few pointers, which you were most likely already onto .Good luck champ Few different things that we can learn from this. Advancing is the next step

I moved 3.6 of my 4.0MH to MC last night because of these payment delays. Hopefully this can get fixed and I will be able to come back.

Sorry for the delay, some personal stuff came up and I've been away from my computer for most of yesterday.
That said, we're still waiting for withdrawals from Cryptsy. We have 2 pending withdrawals currently (and a ticket in to support), one for 71 btc submitted yesterday, one for 42 btc submitted just now.
I manually did payouts last night based with the funds that we had traded on coinmarket, but that was a very small portion of our overall exchanged amount. Essentially until Cryptsy pays us, we can't pay you, and I have no idea when ours will go through. We didn't start having withdrawal problems until a few days ago, which leaves me with 2 guesses as to why its happening:
PoolWaffle, I assume you already know that Cryptsy updated their API on the 19th? The change is mentioned on BigVern's twitter and http://blog.cryptsy.com/. He also suggested updating the address to api.cryptsy.com instead of cryptsy.com/api.

I know of no job that pays out daily.

I know of no job that pays out daily. Really? Any shop owner is actually paid daily. There isn't a constant and stable salary and it's all ups and downs just like this business.

To PoolWaffle: Can you clear this and explain why some get paid and for half of us, including me, the payout has not happened yet?
Because our withdrawals from cryptsy are in limbo somewhere. I paid as many people as I could, with the amounts withdrawn from other exchanges (the amount we had on hand at the time). The selection of users was essentially random (just selected all users with a balance, and started paying until we ran out of local funds). Soon as cryptsy withdrawals go through, we'll do the exact same thing. As for the issue with cryptsy. I agree it sucks to have the coins in limbo, but we've been over this before, we really don't have another exchange that offers the APIs we need to be able to trade automatically. We've recently added coinmarket for a small number of coins that need to be manually traded, and I'd really prefer to not have something where the majority of our coins are manually traded on an exchange (just a lot of extra work). That said, it doesn't mean much to have the auto-trading on cryptsy, if we can't get the coins back out. Like I said, I've got a support ticket in with Cryptsy to deal with the issue, and I'll make sure to find out if this is a temporary thing that will be corrected, or if withdrawals of this size (50+ btc) are always going to be subject to major delays. This hasn't been an issue until the last few days, withdrawals have always taken a few minutes. So I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, and assume that its a temporary problem that will be fixed, and not cause us headaches in the future. If it looks like its going to be a permanent issue, we'll find a different solution (new exchange, move payouts to compensate for the withdrawal delay, etc). Thank you for your communication. I just wanted to let you know that myself, and I'm sure many others, appreciate your hard work. I hope you're ignoring all the people who think they are entitled to so much more just for turning on a couple computers, because you really are doing a great job.

Over 11 of my machines in the past ~32 hours I am averaging 0.01170084 BTC per MH ($7.27 currently).
The worst machine is at 0.01085110 and the best is at 0.01233557. I am hoping there are some manually traded coins not accounted for as unsent which will bump this up.
Still, thats better than the last 7 day average reported on the site.
Is anyone else getting better numbers?

Payouts were just run. They needed to be run in two separate batches (0.01+ and 0.001+). Everyone should see the payouts show up basically immediately.
Again guys, really sorry about the delay, and I've still got the ticket in to Cryptsy to see if this is going to be a common thing, or if its just something they're working on fixing. They haven't replied yet, which makes me guess that the delay was a problem affecting more than just us. After our 2 original withdrawals went through (a bit ago), I submitted a 3rd withdrawal (to get the btc that had traded after the original withdrawals). That went through immediately after requesting (minutes). Making me believe its something as simple as them needing to refill a hot-wallet here and there, and it only gets refilled manually.
Again, we'll see what comes out of the ticket. I don't like delaying payouts any more than you guys don't like receiving them, and hopefully this doesn't happen too often.

All I can say about Wafflepool is I'm very happy with the results.... delayed last payment but no bother for me, been a day or so late. My payout for a 1.5 days with roughly 3MH/s has just arrived and is 0.06636829BTC. This = 0.01106 per MH Thanks for the great pool and keep up the good work

+1 Thanks for the updates PW. For the whiners...just remember if this was MC you would have had NOTHING in the way of dialogue or communication about the payment delays. This pool has only been live for just over 4 weeks and is still finding its feet. Please keep childish foot stomping out of this thread if we want PW to remain communicative. Peace

Ohh for gods sake, you all arent employees of wafflepool you're running your own small business, and any business that can't handle a payment a month late let alone a couple of days is doomed to fail miserably, any good business knows they need to keep enough cash on the books to cover late payments.
And your analogies of salaries being late... very few jobs in the world pay daily and those that do don't have intermediary exchanges etc to go through to pay you, they're cash out of a till, further I don't think I know anyone who has never had a late paid salary in their life, it happens on occasion admin doesnt get the pays in before close of trade once in a blue moon, public holidays etc.
The pool is essentially brand new and just went from less than 1 GH to over 10 GH, that is bound to cause a few hiccups, give the poor guy even just a week to iron things out not mere hours.
Finally everything in cryptocurrency is volatile, this is not an industry of security, if you can't handle the wet consider getting out of the water.

This will also resolve itself over a long enough time period (although that time period is quite long at current rates). We take a 1% fee on the pool earnings (fair I think), of which about half is eaten up by various fees (0.3% trade fees roughly, some transaction fees for moving earned coins to exchange, bitcoin out of the exchange, and then payouts). Another portion of that (maybe 0.1%) is used for hosting costs. Leaving me with somewhere around 0.4% fees turning into income. That revenue for the time being is being put into a slush fund, so that at some point in the future, we ideally have 1 full day worth of payout buffered. So if something like this (cryptsy withdrawals) happens again, we have the means to cover it while the withdrawal takes forever. That said, at current rates, it will take 6+ months to get to that point. Essentially you guys have a few options here, and I'm certainly not going to make the decision for you. But we could easily raise fees to 2% (from 1%) for a month or so to build the slush fund quicker. If there seems to be support for something like that, I can put up a poll somewhere (popup on the site or something). On my side, I don't care either way. 2% fee would be great for building up the ability to do automated (timed) payouts. But at the same time, we lose a tiny bit of our advantage over other pools. This comes down to what you guys want essentially. If you want more exact payout times, we can do that, but it comes at a (short term) cost. If you'd rather not pay a slightly higher fee (understandable), thats perfectly fine, but if we have times like the past 2 days, where payouts are delayed from something outside of my control, thats something we'll just have to wait through. Moving to multiple exchanges mitigates it slightly (and something I'll look into), but doesn't fix the problem completely.

When one is being paid multiple times a week even when the occasional payment is late I don't see the problem, I'd personally be against the fee rise just to stabilize the payment schedule. Although the slush fund is a great idea I can personally wait 6 months.

Poolwaffle any chance you could start posting these tidbits on the reddit as well, I know it is a pain having to post on a hundred sites but would be great to not have to read 40 messages just to see what's happening. Sorry to be a bother.
