Latest mithril client is fun, no errors interacting so far. I did very much enjoy the waypoints being added to the regular wallet, that really made a huge difference!

difficult to say..

I guess some form of beta on testnet within a couple of months - could be less could be more.
but - full release could be a lot longer, as we need to get over a lot of hurdles.

We have the Map (like live map) working fast/smooth in browser and on decent android devices... just waiting on some stuff before we can publish to appstore etc

This is what the browser looks like - very smooth, works on windows/mac and should work on linux too but needs some tweaks.



This is on Galaxy S5 - same very smooth


not tested on iphone/ipad but should work the same

I think this weekend I'll release officially the new version, while i'm adding new stuffs at the moment

anyway maybe later I'll publish a new version with a new feature that show you which hunters share the same reward address
I've already implemented it, just need to go home after work and publish it

here it's how it will work:
right clicking over an hunter in "Cell Info" or "Target" window, will show up a context menu where you can select "Find Teamed up Hunters" (see pic)



then, you'll see a popup dialog with all hunters that share the same reward address. clicking on the icon, will set them as target, so this feature could be useful to understand if some different players are playing togheter. see pic taken from testnet

I tested some version of this Mithrilman client - (without the new search).. and I must say it's a big advantage over official client. and much more fun.

we will keep supporting the official qt, but it's unlikely to match the functions or looks of Mithrilmans client any time soon.

Probably clicking on an enemy and showing his paths may be added eventually, but not for a bit.

the only problem is that RPC send weird unicode characters back, domob need to address that problem or unicode chars like chinese can't be displayed properly (forget to tell that to him)

maybe i'll work on it tonight, when rpc will be fixed, my client will display properly weird chars

Any words of advice?

If there's a stratum patch for merge mining I can look into it, as far as I know right now, the only way to merge mine scrypt coins is to use p2pool which can't handle any kind of load.

fusioncoin/60E's fork of stratum mining can supposedly merge mine 1 chain. however i personally prefer eloipool (and thats what im adding to my pool (which will also have HUC when its finished syncing))

Is it just me, or is there some reason there are such long block times? Rarely seeing 1 minute blocks, and 5 minute + blocks seem to be coming around more often....

only sha256 blocks are being mined atm --
f2pool/discusfish still updating or is away and not re-enabled scrypt mining.. he will switch it on soon.

note.. when the next scrypt block is mined, the scrypt difficulty will be very low... probably the blocks will come in very fast for a while

how you can see here, I've implemented the chat, not just as readonly as before, but now you can type a message over your hunters list in "My Troops" window and when you'll move some of your hunter, that text will be sent on behalf of that player
you can even send just a message without planning other actions on hunters of that player of course

Other thing added is the previous feature i wrote about (context menu to open a dialog that show who share the same reward address of a selected hunter)

Next thing, i fixed the displayed block time needed to reach a point, in the hunters list of your troops, but then i went beyond and implemented the same feature over the targeted hunters in "Target" window, you can see that in the pic (the number between brackets) next to the "moving icon"
